The Owner Of The Castle On The Hill

Wednesday at 11:55 pm, at one of the nearby castles in ScarBridge

Fiora stood in a large brightly lit room which was filled with exercising equipment. A large window allowed her to see the night sky and the coastline as she did her routine exercise before turning in for the night.

Her castle stood on a hill that was very close to the coast. She had purchased this castle when her parents asked her where she wanted to go to school. She wanted a place where she wasn't well known and it was indeed a good tourist destination. At least it would give her a nice scenery when she went to school ensuing that she does not get bored, she had thought.

Her parents remained in the United States of America for the moment as they continued building their clothing line for their fashion empire in the United States.

That night she was using the Kung Fu wooden dummy when suddenly the lights began to dim in the room and the castle began to shake slightly. Suddenly she saw a bright light that illuminated the entire room casting huge shadows on the floor of the room.

Then all of a sudden everything went pitch black as if she had closed her eyes and turned in for the night. It seemed to be momentarily to her because she hard a crash and then suddenly she could see again.

The room had returned to its dimly lit state however a trail of yellow smoke was blowing pass her but she was unable to turn around to see what it was. All she was able to see was the night sky and the broken window. She was also unable to move and she did not know why this was happening or how to undo it.

It wasn't a nice feeling being unable to do what she wanted to do. It seemed like an eternity before the sun came up with her in the same position.

Sunlight was only able to come in from the damaged area of the window due to the windows being tinted. She tried to smile due to her initiative of tinting all the castle glass, how the thought had now bore fruit but she knew her face remained unchanged.

The stream of light through the crack moved from place to place as the time of day changed. She measured the movement of the light all the way until dawn and then the moon light, till she was able to move again the very next day.

When she was able to move, she turned in the direction of where the smoke had risen to see a yellow gem stone. Picking it up, she held it in her hand. Seemed mildly valuable, Fiora thought to herself. She rested it on the nearby stand and then she called her butler.

When he arrived, she inquired about the weird incident that had taken place. He was unaware of such an incident. He was also not even aware of the correct date.

Dismissing him, she walked to her bedroom and got ready for bed.

The very next day when she returned to the room, she saw the gem on the stand, immediately remembering about how the gemstone had broken in through the window.

Might be nice to place it in some jewelry, she said to herself as she picked it up. Looking at it in the daylight, she was able to really admire its beauty.

Madam Fiora she heard the butler say. The landscapers have arrived and are waiting at the front room.

Her butler had shouted from down the hall so Fiora decided to go meet him. As she was about to move with the gem in her hand, her body felt really light.

As she moved, she magically covered the entire room in an instant. It felt like she didn't expel any energy at all.

She still held the gem in her hand. Looking down at it she wondered if it was the reason for this that was taking place. Turning she moved to return back to the window and instantly she was by the window.

She was moving but her body felt light when she did, like nothing held her back.

"It had to be the gem, she thought!"

She decided to test it and increase the distance. She ran all the way downstairs. She moved across the floor as if she glided and when she cleared halfway down the stairs she jumped to the bottom. She felt no shock as she continued to move all the way to her butler.

Her butler stood still and suddenly turned when she was next to him. Sorry Madam, he said surprised. I did not know that you were downstairs. I thought that you were upstairs.

"That's ok, she said!" I will go and attend to the landscapers she continued as she placed the gem stone in her pocket.

It was only by coincidence that she was walking down the school corridor and felt a burst of something odd, referring to the magical energy expelled from the time being stopped. The girl who was walking in the opposite direction had become frozen in time for that brief moment. That indicated to her that something magical had taken place. She then overheard the group talking and so she made sure that she arrived her. So "here we are, she acknowledged!"

Luke asked Fiora, so your gemstone allows you to move fast.

Not exactly she responded as she got up and walked to the entrance of the gazebo as they looked at her.

Picking up a small stone, a yellow aura surrounded her as well as the stone. Then she used her thumb to flick the stone from her hand. The speed at which the stone flew caused a crater where the stone landed.

Her spectators drew back as they witness the dust flew up into the air and then start to settle.

Fiora stated that she was able to fast forward the time and thus speed up things around her while being unabated by the harmful effects of time.

Therefore I can speed up my surrounding time, she responded.

Sort of seems opposite to what I can do, Greg stated to everyone. Sort of, Fiora commented back as she returned to her seat.

Well, at least everyone who has the gemstones are present, Luke said out loud with excitement. As if his word was a trigger, the silhouette of someone began to phase into existence before them.

"My fellow knights," stated the unknown figure!
