A Journey Best Taken

My fellow knights! Do forgive me if I am being too formal. I am unaware of the current timeline that all of you exist in.

My name is Jaiden and I will get right down to the point, said the cloaked individual. I am the Time Warden and the gems that you have in your possession are a magical part of the Celestial Clock.

"Is this two way, Greg asked the group, shaking his hand in front of the image!"

I am sending you this image to tell you that the flow of time had been disrupted previously, sending the gemstones to your timeline. The gemstones must be returned else the flow of time would become unstable putting your world and others in danger.

"Thank God, it's not two way communication," Greg said with relief.

"Pipe down," Fiora responded, trying to listen here!

To return the gemstones to its appropriate place, visit the Uthina Amphitheater replica at the night of the Blue Perigean Moon. The statue of Pytheas will point to the gateway.

One must each pay the statue a piece of gold measuring up to the number of persons interested in passing though the gateway.

Holding a daffodil while stepping through the gate will ensure safe passage. Once the journey commences, seek out Lord Jamie The Third. He will lead you from there to the Tower that contains the Seat of Chronos. The gemstones must be returned to the Celestial Clock.

I wish you a safe journey and the fate of the universe and the flow of time hangs in the balance.

Then the image disappeared before the shocked team.

What was that future man, Greg asked Mr. Benjamin. I thought that you could see the future. How come you did not see this coming and warned us.

My life wasn't in immediate danger, so the gem did not react, responded Mr. Benjamin. The more pressing issue is this message.

"He called us knights," Melinda chipped into the conversation.

Knights were persons with great honor from the Medieval times, Mr. Benjamin added. Perhaps he assumed that the gem holders were individuals of great honor in an unknown period.

So the message is from the past, into the present stated Fiona.

Interesting. If it really is, answered Luke then we definitely need to return these gems back to the owner because if what he said is right, then our time is in danger.

A look of disappointment came over Greg's face when he heard those words.

Mr. Benjamin saw it and said calmly, the occurrence of what happened Thursday, the night the time stopped might happen again due to instability based on his words.

I agree with, Mr. Benjamin stated Luke. This is a lot bigger than all of us, so we cannot think about ourselves. We need to think about everyone else, he continued as he looked at Greg.

All who agree to returning the stones to its rightful place, say I.

Mr. Benjamin: I!

Fiona: Sounds exciting. I'm in!

Melinda: I!

Luke said I and then turned to Greg who had a petulant look on his face. After a few seconds had passed, Greg finally said…. I!

Mr. Benjamin began to state that he would acquire the necessary information for this journey, which would take some time. It would be best to continue on with our lives until I get the information that we need.

Exams are right around the corner, he stated with a bit of humor.

"Even when the fate of the world might be at stake, never put aside your education!"

I'll try to remember that one, responded Greg as he got up.

Be safe everyone, Luke beseeched.

The team left their contacts with Mr. Benjamin and then everyone parted ways to wait for his update.

With this our journey begins, Luke said softly to Melinda who walked beside him, as they began to head back the way they came.

As she turned to face him he said with a smile,

"Doing the right thing is what matters... always!"
