For a while, there had been a shriek of some sorts from the old Brick Roofed house. It belonged to Jarwono. Out here in the village, his moans of pain were like the echos of a horror movie if it were on a sunny day like today.
The Doctor was a man from the nearby town, but he had been around this village for sometime. He was called in by Jarwono's wife who longed been concern for her husband.
Jarwono cried out to the Doctor. "It's my stomach. It hurts."
The Doctor sat on a stool whereas Jarwono sat on his bed. "Open your mouth." said the Doctor as Jarwono did as he was told. Putting on his latex gloves, the doctor proceeded to push his hand into Jarwono's mouth, eventually down his throat. "Stay calm." he said to both Jarwono and his wife. "I could take you to the hospital, but that would take even more time. Have faith in me."
Jarwono's wife wanted to protest, but who else could help her husband?
The Doctor first pulled out some string from Jarwono's mouth. Next was a garland flag with Indonesian's flag colors. Jarwono's wife was surprised. "So that's where it was." She proclaimed. "It's been missing for months."
"Oh." The Doctor said as he went farther down Jarwono's throat. Now he had both of his hands through the patient's mouth. "Hang on." his had gripped on something new. With his strength, he pulled out the final thing that was disturbing Jarwono's stomach.
"Not sure how a back scratcher came in here." The Doctor said. "How do you feel now?"
"Better, somewhat." Jarwono said.
The Doctor nodded. "Just drink enough water and lay down on the larger portions of food." The Doctor said, before he turned to Jarwono's wife who wanted to ask. "Before you ask, this is not my first case. I've met other people before your husband had this problem."
"But how did it all end up there?" Jarwono' wife asked. "It's weird."
"The less you question, the better off your mind is. Just deal with it." The Doctor said. "I'd love to believe that all these weird things happening in the country and the world is a test of how we handle things."
