What?

I felt my body tremble ever so slightly and got worse with every passing minute. I could not see anything but was very certain my eyes were open. I felt trapped and worst of all I could feel the presence of something or somethings. My body shook about its position but I could not move. I could not handle the scorching heat so I shook rapidly but had no luck. What was going on? Why was I blind? and most importantly why couldn't I move? In the middle of my thoughts I felt some liquid hit my skin. My breathing rate increased as my heart rate increased. Moments later it seemed as if my hearing had returned and I could hear the voices of people around me.

"We command you, be gone..." was what I heard before nothingness filled the room once again. Be gone they said but I could not move. I noticed the dark covering on my eyes that hindered my vision slowly fading and I could see some light again. I felt the cold temperature of an object placed on my forehead before a sharp pain spread throughout my body. I let out a shriek and I could feel the air being sucked out of my lungs. The heat was unbearable as if I was being cooked alive. Breathless and suspicious I took a look around the room. There was a huge gathering around me made up of my family and people in white. As I went silent the bed I lay on started shaking violently and I stared at my mother seeing the fear in her eyes.

"We cast you out!" someone said. My head swiftly rotated to face the owner of the words and I looked him in the eyes. I was in agony and had no way of escaping as these people had me in restraints. My body twitched and another scream made its way out of my person. Sweat covered my body due to the heat I was experiencing and tears fell to the pain. Everybody rushed to grab hold of me as my body lifted off the bed and continued chanting. Oh Lord save me I thought to myself as my vision blurred away and everything went dark. Silence filled the room because the people stopped chanting and the bed came to rest.

"Is it over?" one of the people asked. My breathing steadily came down to normal and I lay almost completely still on the bed. My eyes were closed but despite this they rolled side to side pretty quickly. I still could not move and this made it clear that the people surrounding me did not make the mistake of believing it was over. At this point I had given up trying to figure out what was happening and just lay there in despair. The absurdly high temperatures did not lower at all yet everything else around me seemed to get better.

Time passed with everyone in complete silence and then it happened. My eyes opened and I realized I had no control. I got up and stood on the bed in a flash of an eye. I looked deeply into the eyes of the Priest and said "Oh Priest do you not know who I am?" All eyes in the room stared at the Priest and he started chanting. "God the Father..." is what he said before realizing I was directly in front of him. He dropped the book of The Roman Rituals in shock and called my bluff. "I fear not of you demon!" he said and within seconds he was no longer in front of me.

I could smell the fear of the individual people in the room and I growled to display my dominance. One young man gathered the courage to pick up the book of The Roman Rituals and started chanting. I went silent as I stared at him trying to be the hero. "I command you out of this body" he said but it was clear he had no idea what he was saying. The Priest behind me made his way up to his feet and instructed the young man to follow his lead.

"Do not remember, 0 Lord, our sins or those of our forefathers" he said and the young man responded after him. "And do not punish us for our offences." The Priest stood tall and continued "And lead us not into temptation." "But deliver us from evil" the young man quickly spoke after the Priest. "Save this woman your servant." the Priest added and I quickly turned to face him. He was bleeding from his nose but still spoke like nothing had happened. "Because she hopes in you, My God" the young man said and I turned and growled at him. He got paralyzed in fear and said no more. "Be a tower of strength for her, 0 Lord" The Priest continued and I rushed to him and held his throat with my left hand. I lifted him up and watched him gasp for air.

"In the face of the Enemy" another man said. I looked at him and saw the fear he tried so hard to hide. After dropping the Priest I made my way to him and he held out his cross as his barrier. "Let the Enemy have no victory over her." the fallen Priest continued. "And let the Son of Iniquity not succeed in injuring her" the man added and I froze. "Send her help from the Holy Place, Lord." The Priest chanted and the discomfort from before returned. "And give her Heavenly protection." said the man and my body began trembling once more. "Lord, hear my prayer." The Priest yelled and I fell to my knees letting out shrieks in the process. "And let my cry reach you." the man said as they came closer to my slowly dying body. I rolled on the ground as my body shook rapidly and my eyes stayed wide open. Everyone gathered around me , held hands and started praying"

" I exorcise you, Most Unclean Spirit! Invading Enemy! In the name of Our Lord Jesus † Christ: Be uprooted and expelled from this Creature of God. † He who commands you is he who ordered you to be thrown down from the highest Heaven into the depths of Hell. He who commands you is he who dominated the sea, the wind, and the storms. Hear, therefore, and fear, Satan!." The Priest said at the end. My body shook and rolled and at one point I lost consciousness.
