Chapter 11
It has been days since Lumic and Lucas went to our house and since then I haven't actually seen or heard from them, also I am still quite wondering on how their talk went, like the dating part. The thought of me and Lumic dating made my face heat up, fanning myself with my hands I tried calming my face by taking in deep breaths, but really what in the actual cookies and cream was he thinking?! He never even courted! Nor did he even ask for my hand! Ah how in the drops of mars did Lumic become my boyfriend? I even tried avoiding him from the beginning, how did this happen?!
"HOW?!" I exclaimed, and with that exclaim many eyes were now on me, glaring and shushing me.
"Sorry" I apologized and bowed my head, sighing I really forgot that I was at the library, reading, or more like trying to read.
I'm always here when I want to read, write or think about things, ever since that day mom's been bugging the world of cupcakes out of me, and what does she tease or bug me about? She would constantly wiggle her eyebrows at me with this sparkle on her eyes, and would always remind me about 'taking care of Lumic', 'always be there for Lumic', or 'don't hurt Lumic' WE ARE NOT EVEN DATING! I mentally exclaimed loudly, frustrated and mad, maybe.
Ugh! But seriously how could he say that? I pouted while thinking, sighing at the memory once more, oh well what's done is done at least I'm having a younger brother or sister. Finally pushing the thought aside I smiled at the memory of the news mom gave me, I'm finally having a little sibling running around the house, ah I could see it now I can't wait for it to happen, at the middle of my trance I was suddenly pulled out of my dreams when I heard a tapping from my table, as I looked up the person who stood in front of me was senior Ruby, looking over at me.
"Senior Ruby" I greeted nervously, standing up from my seat I formally faced her, but I couldn't help but think, I didn't violate any rules did I?
"Venus, just the girl I've been wanting to chat" she said looking straight and sitting at the opposite side, gulping hard I wonder what she wants to chat about.
"Yes? I didn't violate any rules did I?" I quickly questioned as I sat back, afraid if I did have violated a rule.
"No of course not, did you?" She back fired, in which got me pale.
"Of course not, I would not bring myself to any situation that I would greatly regret afterwards" I defended waving my hands and stuttering, she's scary, really.
"Hmm, well that's not what I actually want to discuss with you" she explained, hmm? It's not? So what is it then? This got me sit seriously right away, knowing she's serious I got serious too.
"What is it senior Ruby?" I ask, pure seriousness on my face but screaming and internally panicking.
"Please, no need for the formalities just call me Ruby, and what I want to discuss with you is regarding about Lumic" she explained, oh Lumic?
Out of nowhere I suddenly remembered the 'girlfriend' thing again, trying not to blush at all I cleared my throat and looked at her in the eye, I nodded at Ruby and gulp the nervousness away, I am quite nervous of what she may ask and discuss with me about.
"What do you think about Lumic?" the bomb has finally dropped, what should I reply to that?
"Senior Lumic? Hmm, well sometimes he can be quite so clingy and childish and loud too, easy going and all happy-go-lucky which is not so bad, and sometimes he's also mature, dependable, serious and also mysterious too" I replied, giving out the things I have noticed about him.
Hmm now that I have thought about it again, it seems like there are two Lumic Neel, as what I have concluded before he could have a multi-personality disorder, I have been researching that kind of disorder, biting my lips this could be my chance to finally know the truth.
"Ah Ruby I do have a question, does senior Lumic, have multi-personality disorder?" I whispered so no one could hear what I was asking, who knows there might be someone eavesdropping our conversation right now.
Sighing and interlocking my hand to my brown locks, now who am I kidding? Lumic Neel? Having multi-personality disorder? That couldn't be right, right? Sighing once more at my nonsense conclusion, going back to apologize to Ruby I found her coughing and choking.
"Ruby, you okay?" I questioned as I went to her side and rub her back in circular motion.
"Yeah, I'm fine, is just that what you said" she replied still coughing from time to time.
"What about it?" I asked, now totally curious of his condition as I stop rubbing her back and went to my seat again.
"Nothing really, but I have quite noticed something as well" she said now calm and thinking deep.
"Noticed what?" I repeated, does this mean she noticed it as well? So I'm not the only one who thinks he has a disorder, I'm not that crazy after all!
"You're avoiding him" she deadpanned, okay what to change the topic.
"I'm avoiding him?" I repeated what she said with a question, well I am avoiding him but how did she know?
"Yes, yes you are. I'm here to tell you to stop avoiding him" she said directly, and this is not a plea but actually an order.
"Why?" I ask curiously, with one eyebrow raised she can't just tell me to not avoid him, she just shook her head and sigh.
"Just, it's better to stop avoiding him or else there'll be a situation where you might regret avoiding him" she said seriously, now this got me frozen in place, what does she mean by that?
"If that's the case I can't help but avoid him more! I can not just hang out with someone knowing something regretful could happen to me" I yell, and again they shut me up, at this rate the librarian would totally drag me out of the place and give me an earful, after a minute where it got silent again Ruby continued.
"Venus" she said seriously looking at me, eyes piercing through my soul.
"Just because I said 'you could regret' doesn't mean you'll die, go to prison or something" she said straightly at me, making a duh tone in the end.
"But still, Lumic- senior Lumic already has girlfriend- Lisa; why not ask her to hang out with her boyfriend? She has more rights to do this, she is his girlfriend after all, so why me?" I ask, now I have something to avoid him from. Like I said before I don't want to start any trouble, oh my gosh! The girlfriend thing, I then feel my face draining color, what am I supposed to do?
"True, but we got it covered, no need to fear Lisa, she'd someday understand the situation" she explains, what am I getting myself into? Sighing, can't I just have a peaceful college life?
"Alright, but I can not promise you that I won't but I'll try not avoiding him Ruby" I told her, I hope what I'm doing is okay, I don't want to hurt Lisa at all, soon after Ruby smiled at me shook my hands and stood up.
"Good, now I shall be on my way, join us for lunch today, you can bring Levy too. Thank you for your time" and with that she's now heading out.
What am I getting myself into? Well whatever, as if this will get me killed, groaning and dropping my head at the table I can not help but feel like the world is somehow against me! Can't I just have one of those peaceful and normal college life? Sighing once more, I glance at my wrist watch only to find that it was already 10 in the morning, and 30 minutes from now another class would start.
Lumic Neel ~~~~~~
"Ruby" I called when she got out from the library.
"How did it go?" I straight forward ask her, glancing from her to the brown haired girl inside.
"It went well, took a lot of convincing but I can see why he likes her around" Ruby complimented, oh my, I see Venus just passed Ruby's standards, well that's nice to hear, sighing and interlocking my right hand to my black hair I couldn't help but to pop a memory up the surface.
"Yeah, hell he even told us she's his girlfriend, not knowing what a girlfriend even is" I mentally face palmed remembering how he barged into my room asking what a girlfriend is and how it works and how it is different from a girl friend, sighing for the hundredth times again, ugh oh brother, as I mentioned that to Ruby I hear her giggle from what I just said.
"Well, that's Lumician for you" she said with a proud smirk in her face.
Shaking my head we both continued our little talk while walking towards our next class together, since most of our subjects are similar- the minor ones; along with Edward, Jane, and Stephen, while Einfield -Lucas, since I have another Lucas back at home and that I won't get confused I use his last name of calling him; and Liam are having much complicated schedules. Sighing at their idiotic-ness I can't help but to mentally facepalm, that's what they get when they enroll very late at school.
"By the way Lumic" Ruby began while were nearing our room.
"When do you think would he get back?" Ruby questioned, sounding by the 'he' I guess it's about him, I only face forward not looking at her and answered.
"Maybe sooner than later, he knows about Lumic's current situation, he wants to meet her" I said seriously, with him around things wouldn't go pretty well, ugh why does he want to meet her this early? I just hope he won't mention anything to trigger Venus- err or the other one, I suddenly remembered that day, where Venus and I were discussing and she suddenly came, omg I can't face her again!
"Any plans?" she ask sounding worried for Lumic and Venus, although she doesn't know the whole truth about it she stills supports me and would never question my actions.
"I'm still planning on it, don't worry I'll be back before he could even land" I reassured her as we were now facing the door, and with that we dropped our topic and went inside.
Meanwhile ~~~~~~
As things went smoothly to them, there were another three persons lurking at the shadows observing the Neel Family, all three of them have different plans, one having a grudge and the other want them dead, whilst the last person just wants to have some fun with them both. One just recently knowing there are two, while the other two doesn't have a clue, only having there eyes on Lumic, blinded by grudge they somehow just cast everything aside when a precious gem was just under their noses.
Unknown 1: Soon, Lumic Neel, I will have my revenge. I can not forget what you did to me, to my company, what a pest! Ah~ but no, I can not just hate you that much, just apologize and bow before me and I shall spare you, come back to me, and things won't be such a drag.

Unknown 2: I want him gone, gone for good. I can not let him live freely as he could, I can not stand the fact that he is higher than me, when it should have all been mine! Mine I tell you! That brat will pay, the old man was supposed to be my company partner but no! That brat stole him from me, I shall have my revenge!

Unknown 3: Oh brother, what a cruel thing I have just found, there were two? When I have only known one? And now what is this? I have just recently found out you're having a relationship with someone? How cruel, I want to have some fun with the fun brother.

Could Lumic and Lumician stop this? Do they have the strength to stop it though? Or would one of them have to sacrifice their life for the other? What fun could the other one even do? Could Lumic find the blood lust from the unknown sooner? Or would he have to sacrifice himself for the better? Lastly, which person would the three be encountering when the time comes?
