Chapter 16

Monday . . . . .

Here we are at school sitting at the cafeteria, Ruby, Jane, Gabriel, Levy and I are discussing where we are going this coming break, and yes it's our first college break together, and my first time to actually go somewhere with them, the beach was awesome too although after the bonfire the other boys came and pick us all up.

"Oh how about staying at one of our resort?" Levy recommends showing us a beach resort.

"We could, how about tourist spots to sight see?" Ruby suggested not looking at Levy, we are all looking at magazines and other flyer things to actually plan where to go.

"Too far from the resort, next" we kept searching for places to go to contemplating which place was good for us to stay at, and at the end we came up with nothing and had to go to class.

I'm now inside the room waiting for the instructor to come- he rarely comes in anyways; all of a sudden my phone vibrated from my pocket I took it out only to find my mothers message.

From: Mom❤️ - Honey, I heard you're going out with friends this break, where are you all planning to go to?

Now where did she get that information from? Out of nowhere Lucas and Lumic's face popped up from my head, sighing why did I even bother to ask? Of course he told her and planned something as well.

To: Mom❤️ - Hey mom, and yes we are. I hope you don't mind me going out with them, and we're still looking for a place but don't worry I'll get you a souvenir from that place- wherever we're going to.

I sent it and there I put my phone back and just rest my head on the table waiting for something to happen, well that is until I found someone sitting in front of me and grinning widely.

"Hey Ven" he greets grinning.

"What's up Lum?" I smirked and rested my head on my hand.

"Nothing just here to talk" he says while doing the same, rolling my eyes I know he wants something.

"Ugh what do you want? Just spill it" I say now interested on what he has to say, I know it's mostly idiotic but I kinda 'sometimes' can't help but be entranced by his charms, at times that is.

"How about this place Venny?" out of nowhere little blue butted in, placing a magazine at the table.

"LUCAS!" I exclaimed quite shock he's here, I'm not anymore surprised of Lumic barging in but Lucas doing the same? Oh my my my no, shouldn't he be at school? This guy is influencing little blue so bad.

"Mm, now check it out Venny lets see if this place will suite the others taste" he says now grabbing a chair from the side for him to sit next to us.

I examined the spot and not gonna lie it's quite interesting really, tourist spot? Check, pool? Check, beach? Check, hotel? Check, foods? Check, not too far yet not too close? Check!

"Oh my gosh this is great!" I beamed at them, as they smiled at me, did they plan this? How did they find this place?

"Where on Earth is this?" I ask them, grabbing the magazine and reading the details.

"The Heart owns it" Lumic answered, though that wasn't my question is about, wait- if the Heart owns it why did Jane never recommend it to us? This is the kind of resort or place that we were all looking for!

"Well, Jane never tells us unless we ask her, she just smiles checks it and doesn't recommend" little blue answered my inside question whilst I nodded at his answer.

"Yeah! All we have to do is recommend this to them" I concluded and they both nodded.

"The problem is, will she agree to that place?" Lumic questioned rubbing the back of his ear.

"Why not?" I question his question, did that make sense?

"Well last time we recommend that place she didn't agree, there'll be a possibility that she won't agree to it again." little blue once again answered my question with his hand on his chin.

"Well, It's worth a shot! I'll talk to them on Wednesday because we're all busy during Tuesday and Thursday" they nodded and hummed agreeing to the day.

"Now, why are you here?" I glared at Lucas.

"Well!" he stutters as he begins to sweat drop and slowly backs away.

Wednesday . . . . . . .

Heading to the cafeteria to meet them, I huffed out some air exhausted on running from the gym, wah physical exercise and training is a pain in the butt. My body is all sore and aching from the 30 push ups, the planking and the other works out- especially all those 50 laps! Ha ha now I know I really do suck, looking up I found them all huddled up in the same table- like always.

"Guys! I found it!" well technically Lumic and Lucas found but meh.

"Found what?" they questioned in unison, I eyed Jane and handed her the magazine.

She studied it for a bit and finally realized where it is- a long with Ruby, whilst Gabriel and Levy didn't know, cause ya' know the magazine is in their hands. Ruby looked at Jane, after a couple of minutes of contemplating she sighed I don't know if that was a good sigh or what, she looked at us and smiled crossing my fingers I just hope she agrees with it.

"Sure" our eyes grew wide along with my smile.

"YEAH!" we shouted gaining attention from the other students.

"Alright we'll pick you all up at Friday evening and we'll be using our van for transportation also remember to pack many clothes as you can, also can y'all inform the others? I'll be informing Liam and Venus?" she sighed and rubbed her temples.

"No need to message him, he'll show up in front of you somehow" she continued and informed us all what to do.

Ruby stated all things to bring and what not, she isn't the vice president for nothing after all and with that we finally found where we will be going, I'm so excited I can't stop grinning yeeee~ my first outing with no family members included.

Thursday at 5 in the afternoon ~~~~~

"Ven/Venny" a child like teen and a little blue child called out to me, I glanced to where the sound came from and I came face to face to a running Lumic and Lucas, both were running so fast that they crashed unto me, making all three of us fall flat to the ground, oh my I think my skull just cracked.

"Ouch!" one by one we slowly sit at the floor processing what on veggie land happened.

"Sorry about that Venny" little blue apologized still looking dazed from the fall- even though he landed on top of me.

"Yeah, sorry Ven" Lumic apologized as well while rubbing his elbow, I guess that's where he supported his body from falling.

"Why were you two running anyways?" I questioned now feeling the ache fading away.

"We heard Jose Johns is here on Freesia looking for some girls" Lumic answered, looking from left to right and narrowing his eyes at every person he sees.

"What's that gotta do with me?" I scratched my head, not really understanding what he mean.

"Seems like you haven't quite noticed it Venny but for your information you're a G I R L too!" Lucas exclaimed while throwing his hands up at the air.

"And?" I questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Oh my! You wanna get kidnapped or something?! We're here to assist you on going home" Lumic stated feeling like an adult, awe that's so sweet of them.

"We just got worried all of a sudden so we hurried to see you, plus we don't wanna get you into some trouble" he said looking at me straight in the eyes, making me blush lightly.

"Natsu" I whispered his name, touched that he really does care about me.

"It'd be a pain losing you" he grins, a small smile crept unto my lips.

"Right!" Lucas cheered, with a bright smile on his face.

Not really noticing that we were still at the floor sitting, we continued to chat for a while. Ten minutes finally passed and that's when we realize that we were blocking the way, finally realizing it we stood up and left feeling all stupid, I forgot to mention that it's already 5 in the afternoon, every Tuesday and Thursday I only got a 10:30 - 11:30 class in the morning and lastly a 1:00 - 2:00 pm class, and since our professor didn't show up we all fled out the room- while I ahem stayed at the library for the mean time; and here we are walking together towards my house, we were chatting nonsense things until I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't watch where I was going" I bowed a little at the person I stumbled upon, glancing at the man in front of me I studied him for a bit he's wearing a dark colored suit and a white polo underneath the suit with a cap and a tinted glasses, I can't make out his face though since it's mostly covered.

"It's alright no harm done" he says so deeply and creepily, hearing his voice I feel a little bit of goosebumps run down my spine, pushing the thought aside I scratched my head and bowed again for the last time, I was about to walk away when suddenly.

"Are you perhaps Venus Lumier?" he asks while I looked at him once more and nodded my head.

"Yes, yes I am" I answered without thinking about the consequence, Lumic elbowed me lightly on my shoulder- for a minute there I almost forgot they were with me.

"Sorry for bumping at you again Mister" I stated and bowed, I hurriedly grabbed Lumic's left wrist and Lucas's right one and dashed away I don't know why but that guy gives me the creeps!

"Do you perhaps know that guy Venny?" Lucas asked looking up at me.

"No? I don't think so though little blue" I answered looking down at him and slowing my pace.

Now that he brought it up how did he know that I am Venus Lumier? I barely even go out, my parents never did introduce me to some people, and when they do it would just be my name that is given and not me, so how? Thinking deeply we continued our journey to my house, silence fell on us as if we were all under a spell to think and not to voice out our concerns, as we got to my door Lumic broke the silence first.

"Be careful Ven, that guy smells like trouble call me as soon as possible when something or anything is up." he said seriously, I nodded at him and reassured him that I'm going to be just fine.

He then patted my head and a small smile crept unto his face and off they went, before they were actually out of my sight Lucas waved a bye and soon sprinted out of my sight. Sighing I immediately unlocked my door and went inside, locking it when I was finally safe, to be honest what Lumic said was really creeping me out yet that Mister- the guy I bumped along the way; was way more creepy. Pushing the thought aside I proceed to my room and change my clothes I put on my red sweat pants and a plain white crop top shirt and finally putting my hair on a messy bun.

After doing so, I waddled my way to the kitchen and microwaved a small box of lasagna and bread, while it was still heating up I went to the living room and turned on the TV, as soon as I switched it on the news anchor was talking about Jose Johns also known as Mr. J it also showed his full face and all but, seriously is that his true name? Weird and somehow familiar too, I snapped out of trance when I heard my microwave chimed it's done, I hurriedly went to the kitchen and took out the box.

"Breaking News, Jose Johns was last seen at the city of Freesia at around 2 in the afternoon today, he is suspected to be kidnapping young girls with no age range, there are already five missing girls as of this week. If anyone does get to see one of them please contact-"

I tuned out what the news casters saying and began eating my lasagna, I moved to the living room and search the channels finding nothing interesting to watch at all. Gasping, I finally remember what I was thinking about, now I know why Jose Johns seems so familiar he once was a successful business man but somehow along the way he became another mans assistant, and somehow he got fired and the rest are history, I never really did know what really happened and what came after, as I was half way finishing my dinner the doorbell rang.

"Who could that be?" I wondered out loud and not even bothering to get up, well not until it once again rang.

"Coming!" I shouted and hurriedly went and open the door.

"Yes?" I asked once I opened the door, only to find the guy whom I bumped into earlier.

"What is it Mister?" I ask at the door way, I still can't see his face though, and- how did he know I was living here? Creep out I slowly moved closer to the door, hiding my body and only showing my face.

"Miss. Lumier" he said, and slowly took off his glasses and adjusting his cap.

It took me a minute of realizing who was in front of me, trembling from fear panic run through my veins. Alarmed I quickly and hurriedly tried to close the door but he pushed it back at me chuckling darkly, with no more ideas to come up to fight off the man I ran inside not bothering on closing the door anymore. I ran to my room and locked the door, trying to ease my mind and not to hyperventilate or else I'll collapse and die! Thankfully my phone was there, my hands trembled as I searched Lumic's name on my contact once I found it I immediately pressed call and BANG goes my door.

"Oh Miss. Lumier, is that a new way to greet a guest?" he ask, sounding deadly.

"Come on Lumic, pick up, pick up!" I muttered now trying not to cry.

"Oh my, what a shiny knife you have, you must really like to keep this thing clean" amusement was evident in his voice as he said that, oh my gosh he has my knife, MY KNIFE!

"You know, a bruise or a cut can be avoided if you'd follow me" he stated outside my door as I hear he is trying to make the knife sharper.

"This is really quite a lovely knife" BANG.

"oh and sharp too" BANG, he maniacally laugh at the other side.

"Lumic!" I whisper yell, tears finally dropping out off my eyes as I think that I'm finally going to die, I continued to call him even though he won't pick up, finally thinking of calling Lumic's second number hoping this time he will pick it up.

"Please please" I muttered silently as I curl up into the side of the bed, if only the windows didn't have some barrier then I would have jumped, but no! Dad insisted of putting them, sobbing I tried to think about my mother and father and my life.

"Oh Miss. Lumier, don't you think it's time to come out? You don't wanna put your friends, family . . . . . . baby sibling in danger no?" he asked like a psycho, and that was it, how did he even know that? Sobbing more, I don't know what to do BANG!

"What a sturdy chair! I could really knock your door down with this thing!" he said and then BANG! BANG! BANG! Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit he's coming in!

"Roses are Red, and so is your blood! Soon it will spread, through out your- hmm what rhymes next? Ah! I know bed!" Oh my gosh!

"Venus? What is it?" a voice called up, finally he answered, sobbing more into my hands I replied.

"Lumic?! Lumic please help" I begged, more tears came out of my eyes.

"What happened?" he ask, worry was visible on his tone.

"La la la la la, blood in my hands as I cut your neck, la la la la blood in my hands as I cut your head" he sang in a happy tune.

"He's here, Jose Johns, he's here please, please Lumic, help me" I begged, BOOM! BANG! Finally my door gave out, there in the door way stood Jose Johns who kills.

"La la la la I finally got you la la la"

"Lumic, help"
