Chapter 17

Lumic Neel ~~~~~

"LUMICIAN! PICK UP THE DARN PHONE YOU LETTUCE ASS" I hear Edward's voice yell- did he just made Edward's shout his ringtone? You know what never mind I won't ask about it.

Ignoring the call or yell I thought it would stop but it just keeps on going on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and that was it. Standing up from my seat I searched for the source of where the yelling comes from only to find Lumician's phone on the side of the couch, if you all are wondering where I am at I'm actually at my office. Now back to the yelling I didn't get to see who has calling because his phone was facing down, and I seriously don't want to intrude on my brother's life.

"Tch, annoying" I scuffed.

I left it there still annoyed and go back to my seat, minutes later I finally thought that maybe the caller gave up, but instead of my brother's phone that would ring this time it was my phone that rang. I immediately picked it up only to find Venus calling, I hesitated on whether to pick it up or not? But I suddenly got a bad vibes run down my spine so I answered.

"Venus? What is it?" I ask still unable to shake the bad feeling going on, damn don't think too much Lumic, you know this is why you should not have coffees every 30 minutes.

"Lumic?! Lumic please, help" I heard her mutter, fear was visible on her tone, I stood up almost instantly fearing what's happening on her side.

"What happened?" I ask worriedly, without second thought I was already out my office with my car keys on my free hand, I listened closely to her side, something definitely was going on.

"La la la la la, blood in my hands as I cut your neck, la la la la blood in my hands as I cut your head" I hear from the other side, hearing that kind of song made me blood run cold.

"He's here, Jose Johns, he's here please, please Lumic, help me" she's trembling and panicking I just knew it. My eyes grew wide knowing that Jose was at her place I dashed outside and sent them an emergency text and opened my location for them to tract and dash to where I am going to.

"*BOOM! BANG!*" I hear from her side what was he doing? Her sobbing stopped and then:

"La la la la I finally got you la la la" I hear, damn it!

"Lumic, help" she whispered before the line went out.

I heard how the glass shattered, I heard how he broke it, I heard how he made her scared, and most definitely, I heard her whisper my name begging for help. That man, can not be forgiven.

I was about to dash when the car door opened and came in Lumic and Lucas, without any words I dashed out, not caring if the police was out to get me or us, the only thing that's on my mind was Venus. Twenty minutes was far too long to get to her apartment, having no time to follow the rules I bolted right out even in red lights, rapidly turning from left to right just to get to her apartment quick with no moment to loose, after so many turns I finally see her apartment I could finally see that her door is wide open. Abruptly stepping the brake the car screeched and stopped, opening my car door I stepped out and check for any other signs.

"The door's open, Lumician call the police, Lucas you stay here and don't do anything reckless" I demanded, Lumician instantly dialed the police whilst I was now moving into her door.

"Lumician, don't do anything stupid" I demand without looking at him, I know he's following him.

"Can't promise Lumic, if anything happens to Venus I'll destroy that man" he was furious and so was I, but I have to keep it cool.

"Search the place" I stated and in we go.

After talking to the police they said they were on their way, I can not help but get scared. Sometime the police takes too long, a light bulb suddenly appeared in my head as I am now dialing their number, I just hope she won't panic.

"Venny, please be safe" I muttered quietly, as it finally started to ring.

A few minutes later cars were now parked at the side, and no they were not the police, they were Edward's, Liam's, Stephen's, and lastly big brother Lucas' car. Relief flooded in me as they finally arrived, with them here I finally cried, I cried my eyes out, big sister Ruby was the first one to ever notice me.

"Lucas, what's wrong? What happened?" big sister Ruby questioned while coming closer.

"Venus . . . Jose Johns . . . " I answered through sobbs but eventually they got it.

Their eyes grew wide, Levy began to tear up as Stephen comforted her, some immediately dashed inside big brother Edward was the first one to bolt right out of the group with big sister Gabriel following suit as well as big sister Jane and big brother Lucas. After a minute of standing and crying, we slowly followed the others inside, only to find them on Venny's room, as we got inside what we saw made my eyes again wet, Venny's blood was all over the carpet, still fresh and wet, the door was banged, the curtains were slashed, and most of the windows were broken, but the sight of Venny's blood made everything worst and unforgivable.

"He's gonna pay" both Lumic and Lumician said simultaneously, soon after they walked out.

While we were still in a dazed, not knowing on what to do, what to say, and to what to even think. Five minutes later the sirens got our attention, we got out of the bedroom and moved to the living room, not talking and not even daring to say anything. As they all sat at the couch I directly went to Lumic and Lumician at the far corner, there and then I finally saw how mad they both were and that made me weep even more, I have never seen them both so furious. Standing there and sniffling so bad they both noticed I was there, Lumic softened his look but still, you could easily tell he was mad, he came closer to me and hug me.

"It's okay buddy, she's gonna be alright, she's a tough one. Venus is gonna be just fine, trust me" he reassures, I don't even know if that was for me or for himself.

"Don't worry little blue we'll rescue her" Lumician agreed and looked at me with a determined look.

I just can't take it that both Lumic and Lumician is so so mad, I just hate seeing my brother, my father,my uncle, my role model, so scary. It worries me so much. A couple of hours later the street was occupied by lots of people trying to know what happened, police were flooding in, soon after the Lumier Family arrived with. The first to come out of the car was Aunt Layla followed by Uncle Jude then Constance and lastly Aunt Layla's sister Lovenia, Aunt Layla instantly saw us and came rushing to us.

"LUMIC!" that got all of our attention both Lumic and Lumician stood up.

"Aunt Layla/Mom" they both greeted in a sad tone, as if they are taking the blame of Venny's disappearance, as she got near us she instantly pulled them both in a hug.

"It's not your fault" she assures quietly. She pulled away and look at me, then in an instant she hugged me making me cry again.

"Little blue thank you for calling us immediately, and don't worry we'll find her" I nodded at Aunt Layla and hum, after that the police came to us.

"I'm sorry sir but it looks like this was not Jose Johns, there are no evidences that it was him who totally kidnapped your friend and child" the police stated looking at us then at Aunt Layla.

"What do you mean there were n evidences?! How about the knife that was on the floor? The broken window? The slashed curtains? At least do something that could track a suspect!" Lumic shouted sounding annoyed and pissed at what the officer said.

"There were no hand prints sir, if this was Jose Johns himself I believe there would've been some evidences or signs that he left but-"

"There are no evidences? Really? You expect me to believe that?! Check the door bell, the door, the blood, the broken chair, the phone! ANYTHING! Be it Jose Johns or not I don't care as long as you find something!" having had enough Lumic grabbed the police officers shoulder almost punching and breaking his bones, and clearly he's losing his patience. Going to his side and hugging his waist I just hoped and prayed he wouldn't loose his patience or else it would make things worst.

"Papa please" I whispered hoping he hears me, letting go of the police officer he hugged me too whispering how sorry he was and saying how he doesn't want me to see him like that. Finally calm and collected he picked me up and face the police officer.

"You know what? Leave this to us, you all can go now, leave this place at once" he commanded, glaring daggers at the police officer whilst he nodded and round up his troops and left.

"Lumician, lets go in" he commanded walking towards the living room, I don't wanna talk when things go rough.

I just hugged his neck more and not saying anything, the Lumier family followed suit, we all quietly went to the living room and saw everyone there still looking dazed.

"Jane, call Jasper" he commanded as he put me down at the couch.

"Yes sir" she replied and hurriedly went to call the person.

As Jane called a friend named Jasper at the kitchen, the others on the living room looked at Lumic, all being quiet and waiting for his command.

"What do we do now Lumic?" Levy finally asked, crying, sniffling and worried about her best friends condition yet also still sulking at the grasp of Stephen, finding comfort in his arms.

"Ruby, Liam, you two track down where they have gone to, we all known that this is gonna be hard but I can definitely count on you in tracking it down. Edward, Gabriel, check the CCTV's at the lampposts there's gonna be anything that could be of use in those camera. Lucas, Jane, you two know what to do. Levy, Stephen you both accompany Aunt Layla, and Uncle Jude for a bit, no questions should be asked you all know what to do"

"Lumic, I want to help too" Layla protested wanting to help the search of her missing daughter.

"Oh no you don't, for goodness sake Layla you're pregnant" Jude intervened gently grabbing her shoulders.

"I hate to break it to you Layla but Jude's right, leave it up to them. They can definitely find her" Layla's sister Lovenia agreed, whilst Layla couldn't just sit right knowing her daughter is in the hands of some psychopathic woman or man- since they have no evidence that it was indeed Jose who came.

"Lumcian, Lucas, lets go" Lumic commanded, as he starts to walk out.

"Coming" both said in a pissed and whispered tone, following Lumic out the door.

"One last thing, keep me updated on the location. There's someone we need to confront to" with that final sentences they walk out going to the car and drove off to who knows where.

Meanwhile at the outskirts of Freesia, there stood an abandoned building lights were out and nothing can be seen inside of it.

"Wakey wakey, Miss Lumier" a deep husk voice sounded through-out the empty room.

As he observed he noticed that she won't be waking up soon, and that annoyed him. He got a steel bar that was being burned at the fire place, he wickedly grin and guided the bar at Lucy's now tattered sweat pants and placed it unto her right leg. The hot bar burned her skin and right on that she screamed at the top of her lungs, nothing seemed to process at her mind, but all that she could think of was how her body ached and burned, finally had it enough he threw the bar back at the burning fire pit.

"Finally awake, Princess?" he wickedly and menacingly ask.

Opening her eyes she faced the man in every person's nightmare, and as if at that moment she knew that he was going to hurt her so bad that he would even kill her, 'Someone please, help'.
