Chapter 35
Spinning the pen with her fingers she eyed her every movement, they were now at the cafeteria with Lumic's 'friends' that helped Venus in escaping. Sighing she looked at Levy with a bored expression, sensing that someone was looking at her she looked at her side and found Victoria staring at her.
"What?" she raised her shoulder in a questioning manner.
"Enlighten me, I feel bored" she stated like it was the most usual thing that happened to her everyday.
"Go catch the bad guy then" she scoffed and went back to tapping her laptop.
Getting up from her seat she looked at her, and as if a light bulb suddenly got turned on she slammed her right hand into her left palm. Looking back to Victoria, Levy can't help but to just sweat drop 'Wow she took that seriously'.
"You're right!" she exclaimed.
"Oh no she's not, you missy you're staying here" Edward commented, tilting her head to the navy haired man, she gave him her death glare.
"I'm sorry" he hid himself behind Gabriel who just sweat dropped.
"Hello Miss. Victoria" Gabriel greeted, hearing her name was called she looked at the woman and nod.
She leaned in to the table and eyed the woman Edward choose, she hummed and stared intently at her. Scratching the back of her neck she can't help but let out a nervous laugh, Gabriel glanced to Lumic asking for help.
"Gabriel Serbia was it?" Victoria finally asked, straightening her posture she looked at the brunette straight in the eyes.
"Yes ma'am" she stuttered for a bit but composed herself.
"Hmm, what do you see in this dimwit friend of mine?" she asked or more likely interrogated.
She thought for a while, Victoria's eye brow raised and her patience is running low as well, opening her mouth she closed it back again. Victoria signaled Gabriel to hold up for a minute for a blonde woman was approaching their way.
"Hi" she greeted once she was near them all.
"Lisa" they greeted, hearing the name they all greeted Lumic who was drinking choked and coughed.
Smirking, 'Oh this is a sight to see' Victoria rested her cheek on her fisted hand and eyed the two lovers 'This is going to be fun', a lot of scenarios was now playing in the brunette's mind.
"Say Levy" Victoria's mind turned and now was facing the concentrating girl.
"What?" she asked not sparing a glance at the evil woman beside her.
"Sometimes you're so like a devil V" Levy murmured shaking her head.
"Why? Cause I'm tempting and hot?" she smirked pointing down at her body, hearing what the woman beside her said, she cringed.
"Ew no yuck" Levy was now looking at the woman and made a disgusting face.
"Enlighten me" she smirked and leaned forward ready to attack her ship, 'Plan otp on the go' she internally snickered at her own thought.
"I have nothing to say to you" she goes back into facing her laptop after shoving a spoonful of yogurt.
"Hmm" she hummed but in all honesty she was smirking, she eyed Levy who was now getting another spoonful of yogurt.
"Guess I'm asking the wrong question" she smirked sensing her evilness radiating, Levy's eyes widen and blurted her yogurt out of her mouth.
'Ooohhh straight unto Stephen's face' choking and coughing up her yogurt Stephen wiped his face full of yogurt and was now looking at the woman who spat it out at him, 'Omg of all places it's his face' Victoria was keeping her thoughts inside trying to stay shocked and bewildered outside.
"OMG! I'm so sorry Stephen" she said through coughs.
Running to his side, Levy got her handkerchief out and wiped the remaining yogurt out of his face, he did not say a word for he too was speechless of what had occurred in the first place.
"So Stephen" Victoria continued on, not really minding that he was now drinking his water.
"You now pursuing Levy?" she asked looking amused at the man.
With no words he blurted out his drink to the woman in front of him, no other than Levy herself. 'Omg this is so hilarious' Victoria snickered really amused at the blurting out couple.
"I figured there'll be a payback ( -_-) " Levy scoffed and wiped the dripping water out of her eyes.
The people who were at the table were now thinking, either to laugh or feel sorry for the pair, but two idiotic boys did laugh. Lumic and Edward were now howling with laughter pointing finger at the pair, 'Idiots' Victoria stated in her mind with a smirk.
"What about you Lumic?" laughing his butt of he now sensed that Victoria was into him now.
"I.... um, what?" he stuttered not looking at the evil woman.
"Care to introduce me to your lovely girl?" she taunted, she eyed Lisa who was now flushing red.
Not being able to open his mouth he looked outside, he glanced at Victoria and nodded his head to somewhere else. Snapping her head to where Lumic was signaling her to look, there she found her other night sky.
"Oh I'll be" she snickered and got up.
"Let's go lover boy, you too Bee" Victoria dragged the two and off they went.
"I feel like those three are up to something" Ruby finally voiced out.
"Well, what can we say? Victoria's their alpha" Stephen answered still wiping the other left out yogurt on his shirt.
"What do you mean?" Jane asked now intrigued of the topic at hand.
"Well duh Steph, she's our alpha, she almost got us killed" Edward butted in.
"Not for me" Stephen smirked, but boy did he regret it.
"Oh really? Shall I remained you of the time when Victoria was kicking-"
"You know what, never mind" he forcedly smile at the guy and shot him a dirty look.
"Hey babe, got to go catch up with them I'll see you later" Edward kissed Gabriel's cheek and soon he followed the three who got out at the back.
As they watch Edwards back disappear they were now staring intently at Stephen, sensing that some eyes were now on him he glanced up, there he found himself being stared by the confused group.
"What?" he asked raising a brow.
"What do you mean?" Lucas asked, truly intrigued of what he meant.
"What do I mean by what?" he asked as well, confusion was rising at the groups table.
"About the alpha thingy" Ruby asked, leaning forward and interested about the topic.
"Oh, well um, yeah right I'm supposed to follow them" he stated to himself and wave them all good bye.
Bolting right out from the group with his back pack on his hand, he catches up to them near the door, panting and nervously chuckling to himself, Edward tossed him a smirk in which he returned with 'You-told-her-look?' and of course he nodded.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't milk boy" Victoria mused, dropping into his knees he put his hands together and smiled innocently.
"You know I was playing right Ma'am?" he was trying to talk his way out.
"I don't know, were you?" she crouched down and patted his head, sheepishly smiling he tried to act innocent for his chance of living was zero.
"Kill him" Victoria snickered and backed away.
"Bang" Edward shot him.
"Ugh" and he dropped to the floor.
"You really want me dead?" he shouted from the floor, rolling their eyes they continued on walking out.
"Hey wait up" he got up from the floor and ran towards them.
"I can't believe Victoria wants me dead" he grumbled and slouched.
"Well sucks to be you" Levy whispered, trying to be sneaky.
Levy and Stephen were behind Lumic, Edward and Victoria, the two did not want them to know they were talking, they have kept it a little secret. But of course Victoria was having no shit about that, the two pair suddenly felt their hands brushed at each other, looking at the other side a blush crept up into their face, silently they intertwined their fingers.
"Ha! Told you, money down lover boys" Victoria shouted at Lumic and Edward who was silently mirroring the two on her phone, groaning Lumic dug into his pants and got out some money while Edward got out his wallet and got some money out of it.
"There" they both handed her the money.
"I'm rich! Ha ha!" she cheered as if she doesn't have any money at all, rolling his eyes at the brunette while Edward shook his head.
"Sometimes I think on how we befriended this psycho" Edward voiced out of the blue.
"Agreed" answered Lumic.
"Yo!" greeted the man that they were here for.
"Lumician" Lumic greeted back.
"Hey brother" turning his head to the brunette he beamed more and hugged her.
"Vic~" he sing song her name and hugged her tight.
"I missed you" he chuckled and let go.
"Uh huh so where were you?" she asked and placed her hands on her hip.
"Paper works" he shot his brother a playful glare and got shot by Lumic's 'I-don't-care' look as well.
"He's mean" he hid behind Victoria, raising her eye brow she looked at Lumic.
"Mind explaining dear?" she ordered, and stared Lumic right at the eye.
"Because" he huffed and crossed his arms.
"Now this is the Lumic I haven't seen in a whole lot while" Edward whispered to Levy and Stephen, nodding their heads they agreed.
"But what's up with the Lumic look alike?" Stephen whispered back, sighing Edward and Levy eyed him with disbelief.
"That's his brother Step" Levy answered.
"Remember the time when Lumic told us about a twin brother living with his mother?" Edward asked and there finally Stephen remembered.
"That's the brother he was talking about?" he asked pointing at Lumician.
"Yes" they both answered.
"I see, so that's him" he nodded his head.
"And name?" he asked again eyeing the brother who acts nothing alike the Lumic he knows.
"Lumician Neel, apparently for him though he was not thought about business, not like Lumic here who was pampered with lots and lots about business" Edward stated recalling what Lumic told him few years ago.
"You sure know a lot about him" Levy eyed Edward and gave him a questioning look, sighing there was no point on denying it any further.
"Well, there was a time I caught him and his brother video calling each other- back before the incident that is; so Lumic introduced me to the guy, since then we've been calling and meeting each other whenever I go out of the country" Edward explained.
"Anyways" Victoria dragged on the words and looked at the three who seemed to be engrossed of their own topic.
"What are you three whispering about?" cocking an eye brow she intensely eyed the three of them, sheepishly laughing and trying to avoid being questioned they revert their question back to Victoria.
"So, what are we up to?" Edward wiggled his eye brows and act like she never asked a question.
"Pssh" she rolled her eyes and just shrugged it off.
"It's about the next up coming wave of 'war' that is about to happen around any time soon" Victoria stated.
Scanning her eyes out the open, she motioned them to follow her and so they did. Walking and turning a few couple of buildings they finally made it to the place she made out her HQ, opening the broken pile of wood- which is supposed to be the door; she welcomed them five people.
"Welcome! To my headquarters, for now" she stated while looking around.
"Needs a little bit of renovating but it's cool" she stated or more like said to herself.
"A little? Really?" Levy asked swiping some dusts from her finger tip.
"Well maybe a lot, okay" she finally admitted.
"So for now this will make do"
"Maybe" she added.
"Okay! So, here's the thing-" Victoria was about to begin when Lumic interrupted her.
"How about we first clean this up?" he butted in, waving his hand in front of his face.
"That, would be a good idea" Victoria sighed and agreed as well.
"We still got time before that man would attack, let's clean this place first instead" Lumic added and analyzed everything.
"Yes definitely-"
"Wait what? Who man?" Lumician just placed a hand on Stephen's shoulder and sighed.
"Wait a minute, I never got the chance to meet you two" he beamed at Stephen and Levy.
"Hello there, I am Lumician Neel" he stated.
"And I like warm hugs" snickering, they all know where that statement came from.
"Lumician?" Levy played along.
"Yes?" he leaned, his eyes were now sparkling in delight of having new friends.
"That's right, Lumician!" Levy exclaimed with happiness.
"And you are?"
"Oh I'm Anna, yeah right no, I'm Levy Stien" he stated shaking his hands.
"Uh huh" he said quite stunned of her sudden actions.
"And who's the other guy with some 'milk dude' paper on his back?" he whispered, well tried to whisper but Stephen heard it well, patting his back he did find a dangling paper and took it off.
"Hey! Victoria I know you did this" he accused pouting, raising her arms and draw an 'X' over her chest.
"Man I swear" she said but deep inside she was snickering on how he did not notice.
"That is Stephen Mc'Aaron" Levy introduced snickering at the pouting man.
"Well if you're done with the introductions we can use a couple of hands here" Edward shouted now trying to clean the place up.
"Well I could gladly give you some hands but sadly my hands are not detachable" Lumician joked.
"Omg dad jokes, haha!" Victoria laughed and cleaned up as well.
