He looked up and looked as if he sighed. He jumped to abnormal heights for human standards and landed right between me and Yuri. She jumped further away with her sword in front of her. She had sweat trickling down her face, shock.
He rose from the smoke then gently patted my shoulder, "Hey now... Why wasn't I invited?"
The scene felt dramatic. Yuri stared at him, willingly to fight a human-kangaroo. Her commitment to fighting something no matter what the odds gave me goosebumps.
And I respect someone who would fight a definite losing battle. She inspired me to take a stance. I shuffled next to her, waiting for him to make his move.
He picked up on our mental challenge and took his stance.
I was preparing myself to launch towards him as fast as I could.
He raised his hands in a motion that seemed odd, quickly it turned into smoke, controlled-smoke.
"Why does everyone di that?" I asked.
He stopped, possibly intrigued, "You mean, this?" he shot strong pressured smoke into the air like it were a man-made tornado.
I felt less motivated to fight this Sensei-leveled boss battle, "Uh... Y-Yeah"
"Hmmm... Odd I take it you're the chosen one then." he looked at me with a grin.
"I... that's what I've been told..." I replied.
"Brilliant! Oh, Shin why haven't you told me sooner? We teach our students the best ways of Light Arts! Don't we Yuri?"
Yuri gulped as he asked her for a response.
"Well... My name is Kazuto, but call me Kazu" he lowered his defenses 'and who may you be?"
"J-Jake... Nice to meet you.."
He stepped closer and smiled as if I was a new friend he had made from work.
"Wanna learn how to be a cool Light Arts user?"
I stepped back feeling uncomfortable, "S-Sure."
Alright...Sensei Kazu IS CRAZY!!! We can all agree on that atleast...right?
Sorry, sorry...I'll explain
When I said I wanted to learn the art of light...I did not imply that I wanted to fight everyone in his Dojo (btw he transported us to his Dojo after he made his coffee, how long has it been since I ate something? The concept of time didn't seem to exist here, wait....am I even still on earth? WHERE AM I? Is everything even real....oh wait yeah...I'm fighting now...cya

These men were so persistent...
However, they did move slower than me and somehow I strangely could conveniently move closer and find the openings for a tasty knockout blow...I've seen thousands of Jackie Chan movies and... I'm basically still not a pro at this by default.
By now I knocked out most of them. However, there still remained one person. He had a different body from most of them, he wore a mask, covering his face.
He dashed towards me with a lot of agility. He jumped up and leaped for a kick, my reflexes weren't fast enough, he kicked me backward. The only thing I was able to do was to grab his leg, hoping that the kick hadn't knocked me out first.
When my back touched the floor I immediately used all my strength to propel him into the floor above my head.
Fortunately, I had enough strength, unfortunately he simply used his hands to do a perfect hand-stand before launching further away, landing on his feet.
He had amazing cat-like agility, I sadly did not, he waited for me to make my next move, in response I slowly staggered up to a fighting stance.
We both jolted towards one another, the last second he attempted to do a slide-tackle. Luckily I was fast enough to jump above him, I used my left leg to kick his head.
It connected.
His mask was kicked off completely.
He slid further away as I landed on my feet.
As I turned back to meet him and his true face.
Quick it had come to my attention that he was a she!
Don't get me wrong
I was even more terrified when I found out he was female
She looked focused, experienced, fast, and strong.
I took a step further back.
She walked closer and raised a staff
Yes...I knew at that moment I was inevitably screwed
She ran to my direction, her body started getting consumed by white smoke.
She disappeared and reappeared from out of nowhere. She was right...up...down...left...
I couldn't make out where she was and when she was.
So...I stuck out my foot and tripped her.
It was a massive mistake.
As she fell, she grabbed my arm and slammed me into the ground...with her.
I was sent face-first into the canvas. My nose felt painful, my neck was bent awkwardly as I slowly fell onto my back.
My whole body was tired, I could hear her heavy breathing, that was probably a good sign.
Unfortunately I heard her stumbling as she tried to stand up, she was further to winning than I was. My body felt numb and useless. I tried to move but it was no use. I was as useful as a potato being used as a silencer.
I didn't want to lose, every fiber in my being wanted to win, I never knew I was capable of this level of combat. She was the best of the best, yet somehow I wanted to defeat her... maybe put up more of a fight... I didn't want to lose, I didn't want to lose so easily, I wanted to give her the best I could offer.
My vision got fuzzy, my head throbbed and my body got colder, before I knew it she stepped ontop of me, her foot was on top of my chest, her stare of anger and resentment followed up with a pleased grin, made my defeat even more painful. My vision went dark, I felt my body giving out as I drifted away from consciousness.
