Everything Yours

"I'm glad you came, Manager Kang." In Joon plastered a playful smirk on his face. His eyes wholly rested on Kang Min Hyuk's lowered gaze. He found it enticing to watch his subordinate seated in front of him. He got up from his chair and strode towards him.

Keeping his hand on his shoulder, he commented "I was expecting that you would come, Manager Kang but I didn't expect you to come this soon..." He stopped his sentence and reached his table. Taking out a brown envelope from inside the drawer, he placed it on top and continued "Now that you are here, I hope you can sign it. Everything which is under my name will eventually be yours after you have signed it."

With a cheerful smile on his face, he patted on Min Hyuk's shoulder and walked away. "Have a good day, Manager Kang!"

As Min Hyuk heard the sound of the door closing, he turned to see whether he had gone. He found no one in the huge spacious room. Immediately, he stood up from his place and took the brown envelope in his hand.

He saw his hands shake. He was trembling and so, were his hands. It felt like as if he was caught up in between two things. One, his love for his possession and second, his love for his wife. He couldn't understand why he was here or why was he even holding this brown envelope.

As he opened the seal and took out the paper from inside, his possession immediately took over him. He started to read everything one by one and his eyes shone bright with money sign.

What was this? Was he really gonna hand over Ji Ah to In Joon?

Ji Ah got out of the house holding an eco friendly bag in her hand. It was still 8:30; so she decided to drop by Min Hyuk's workplace and hand over his breakfast and lunch to him. Her first class was at 10:15 so, there was still a lot of time for her to go to school.

She wore a full sleeved white striped blue top and white jeans. Even in her casual clothing, Ji Ah looked alluring. As she reached the main road, she hailed a cab and directly headed to Min Hyuk's workplace.

30 minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of a tall building which was surrounded by many other tall buildings. Ji Ah got out of the car after paying and gave a deep sigh as she stared up at the name of the building boldly written in blue and black.

The guard on duty greeted her as Ji Ah entered inside the building. She used to come here almost everyday when Min Hyuk was on duty, that is why most of the employees were familiar with her.

Approaching the reception desk, she smiled at the young women seated and took out a box of neatly packed sandwiches and handed it to them. "Have a good day!" She smiled and the women bowed her back.

As they saw her go inside the elevator, the two women felt grateful towards her. "Mrs. Kang really is so kind. She always brings us something or the other to eat." One woman said and the other woman agreed to her "Yes. Mr. Kang is also very lucky to have a beautiful and kind wife like her."

Ji Ah stepped inside the elevator and pressed on the 15th floor. She was the only one present in the elevator so, she started humming a song. Since, a young age Ji Ah had had the habit of humming songs whenever she was worried or depressed. She used to feel calm and comfortable whenever she hummed and whenever she did so, it never reminded her of the depression.

*DING*

The elevator door opened at the 15th floor. That was weird, even after reaching the 15th floor, no one had entered inside the elevator except her.

Ji Ah took another deep sigh and plastered a smile on her face. She walked out of the elevator and pushed open the door which led to Min Hyuk's department. As the doors opened, she felt everyone's gaze on her and she quivered.

It was a usual thing but today... she felt weird having everyone stare at her, at once. She flinched as Min Hyuk's secretary approached her. "You alright, Mrs. Kang?" The secretary got worried as he saw Ji Ah flinch.

Keeping her cool, Ji Ah gave a nod and asked "Is Manager Kang in his room?" The secretary's sudden negative reply made her even more depressed.

She looked at him and asked "Where did he go?"

"He had a meeting with the CEO so, he is probably in the meeting room right now. You got anything to say? I will deliver your message to him." Ji Ah sighed and shook her head.

She then, gave the bag to him and said "I bought food for the two of you! Please, have it!"

The secretary bowed and accepted the bag. As he saw Ji Ah turning around to leave, he stopped "Mrs. Kang? Manager Kang will be here in a while, you can wait in his room till then."

Ji Ah shook her head and waved her hands. "That is not required. I just came to give this." She smiled and walked towards the elevator. After a while Ji Ah came out of the elevator. As she walked past the reception desk, the two same women bowed her and she smiled at them.

She walked out of the building and looked at the time in her wrist watch. "Hmm! I have enough time to reach school on time." However, it had almost been 10 minutes but not even a single cab walked past her. She kept on staring at the road where only normal cars were driven.

Now, it was getting late. If anymore time, she would be late for her class. She decided to take a bus but buses usually take more time than usual to reach. And, a subway was very far from this area.

Ji Ah sighed and impatiently waited for a cab to come in her direction.

As she waited, a black sports car stopped in front of her. Thinking that she was standing in the way, she took a step back and waited for a cab to arrive. The windows rolled down and an attractive young man in brown stared at the woman in blue and white. "We meet again, Ji Ah!" The man in brown asserted with a smile on his face.

When Ji Ah heard her name, she turned her face to look at the person owning a sports car. It was the person whom she had met yesterday, her childhood friend, Lee In Joon.
