No Divorce, Only And Only Love

Closing the door behind her, her eyes fell on the paper which she had left on the table. She walked towards the table and took the paper in her hand. "Did he not read it?" She asked herself and took it to throw it away.

But after noticing the contents written on the other side of the paper, Ah-Yeong observed the paper. "Did he write something?"

She began to read...

"I cannot divorce you, Ah-Yeong. I have always loved you and I will keep on loving you, FOREVER!

You know what, Ah-Yeong? I should have said this to you when the day I first met you or atleast on the day when you became my wife. But ever since young, I always felt that it wasn't necessary to open up because the person in front of you would be able to understand you on their own. Those were my thoughts.

But I guess, I was wrong. I had done a big mistake in my life and that was to not express my feelings towards you. Ever since the first day I met you, I liked you. When you became my wife, I was more than happy to have you as my soulmate.

It was really wonderful. It just felt beautiful. And time by time, my feelings increased more and more to the extent that when I got to know that you were cheating on me... I felt jealous of the guy who was able to kiss you and hug you as his own..."

As Ah-Yeong read this, she became shocked. "He knew it all along?" She asked herself and rushed out of her room to see him. But when she came out, she saw the sofa empty. Then, she looked towards the kitchen and saw him wearing an apron.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

It was really odd. Minutes ago, he was sleeping and now he is wearing an apron while standing inside the kitchen.

"Cooking, you might be hungry." With a smile on his face, Sang Hoon replied and opened the fridge to take some items. Placing the soy sauce, some vegetables and pickled radish on the table, he took out a wok from the cupboard and placed it on the stove.

Just as he was washing the vegetables in the sink, Ah-Yeong walked towards him and threw the paper on the table. "What is this?" She really couldn't believe that Sang Hoon knew it from the start and yet he was behaving very soft and sweet with her.

Sang Hoon took a look at the letter and placed the vegetables one by one on the table. "Isn't it obvious?" He asked while removing the seeds from inside the green bell pepper.

"What do you mean?" Ah-Yeong asked and moved forward to have a look at his face. But all she could see was him slicing the green bell pepper elegantly in long juveniles. However, this did nothing to her mood which was turning angry second by second.

As she heard no reply from him, she pulled him by his hand and asked "What do you mean by this? Tell me?"

When Sang Hoon looked into her eyes, she continued "Why do you not want to give me a divorce, huh? All I did ask is for a simple divorce. Why would you say no? And why did you not tell me that you already knew...."

Before she could complete her questions, she was pushed to the empty wall. Her words got stuck in her throat when she noticed the proximity between them.

"What... are... you..."

This time Sang Hoon cut her words by saying "I love you!" Soon after saying that, he let go of her and turned back to cutting his vegetables with red neck and ears.

"What?" Ah-Yeong was awestruck by his sudden confession and she again walked towards him and pulled him by his hand. "Do you even know that I... I..." As she saw the delicate smile on his face, she took a long sigh and sat on the chair. "Why would you not say..."

"Let's talk after eating. I'm also hungry." Sang Hoon cut her off and began to cook.

Throughout the entire time while Sang Hoon was cooking, Ah-Yeong just had her head lowered. After knowing that Sang Hoon knew all about her cheating... she just couldn't have the courage to face him.

She felt so ashamed of herself. Had she known that Sang Hoon knew about her misdeeds, she wouldn't have come back home. Now, she felt that she couldn't even ask for forgiveness from him.

So, she quietly pushed herself off from the seat and began to walk away when Sang Hoon called her. "Before you run away, let's eat!" Sang Hoon flashed an adorable smile and placed the steaming hot bowls on the dining table.

"I had less time so, I could just make fried rice." He said while giving Ah-Yeong the spoon and sitting across her. "Let's eat."

Ah-Yeong took one glance at Sang Hoon and saw him taking the bowl in his hand to eat. As she saw him eat so calmly, Ah-Yeong couldn't help but furrow her brows. 'How could he be so calm and not say anything?'

Few minutes after, Sang Hoon was almost done eating. When he looked at Ah-Yeong's bowl, he noticed that it had been untouched. "What's wrong? Is the food not to your liking?" He asked her with a questionable gaze. "Or do you want me to feed you?" He giggled.

That's when Ah-Yeong realized that Sang Hoon had already eaten his fill and she was the only one left for eating. She shook her head and took a spoonful of rice. After having two more spoons, Ah-Yeong placed her bowl and spoon down on the table. She actually had no appetite. She just wanted to sit and ask Sang Hoon some questions.

"Since how long you knew about me doing such stuffs?" Ah-Yeong asked taking a deep breath. She looked at him keenly hoping to hear some reply which would lessen her curiosity.

"Ever since, I bought you home when you were drunk that night."
