She breathed out heavy and ly and looked out of the window. "It can't be." She murmured under her breath.
Hearing her sudden shriek, her driver looks at her through the rearview mirror, "Are you fine?" She inquired in an anxious tone.
Sara looked upon hearing her question, "I am fine. Focus on driving." Sara replied, laying back again at the back seat.
She looked out of the window, the sun was setting down leaving behind the darkness which took over the whole city.
So many years have passed but the city was still like before, she remembered the story she heard from his grandfather.
Moon was popular among all the stars but he was dark and alone until he met the sun, who provided him warmth and light. Even if they have been apart from each other and only meet four times a year, they still care about each other and feel happy.
When she was young she could never really understand why the sun and moon were happy even when they were apart, and why they stayed together instead of looking for someone else.
But now she knows, they loved each other. They only want each other not someone else because the warmth and light the sun provided to the moon can't be provided by another one.
Michael was the moon for her, he gave warmth and light to her dark and lonely life, and she can't get the same warmth from another one.
Sara smiled thinking of him, she let go of him once not again, he will only be hers this time and every lifetime she will have.
Suddenly the car stopped. Sara peeks on feeling that the car stopped. She looked out, she had already reached home. She sighed and got out of the car.
"You can go home now," Sara commanded her driver before going into her house.
"Yes ma'am." Her driver nodded before leaving.
Sara took a deep breath before walking inside her house. It was a villa located away from the city. She opened the door and went inside.
"Ami, where are you?" She called out, taking off her shoes near the shoe rack. No one replied, Sara, smiled and walked in silently.
"Ami?" She called out again. Still, no one replied, suddenly a giggle was heard from behind the sofa.
Sara silently walks towards the sofa, she smiles and holds the little girl who was hiding behind the sofa.
"Caught you" Sara cuddles her tightly. Ami continued to giggle, "Mommy, caught Ami." She said in between her laughter.
"My naughty angel, what were you doing behind the couch." Sara tickled Ami's stomach, making her laugh out loud.
"Mommy stop." Ami cried out not being able to take the tickles.
Both mother and daughter had their own quality time, if she didn't have Ami after leaving Michael, she may never survive for so long alone. Ami was the only warmth and light in her lone and dark life after leaving Michael.
Sara stops tickling Ami, kissing on her cheek lightly before getting up from the sofa. She tied her hair into a messy bun before going inside the kitchen.
"Ami, what do you want for dinner." She questions her taking out the utensil.
"Meat!" Ami shouted in excitement.
"You little devil, you should eat veggies too." Sara pinched her nose and chuckled seeing her daughter being so naughty.
"But Meat is yum, veggie yuck" Ami made a puking face to show her disgust towards vegetables. Sara sighed seeing her daughter being picky, maybe she inherited it from her father.
"Mommy, I inherited it from you, not from data." Ami pouted and crossed her arms in anger. She already read my mother's mind what she was saying about her father. Even though she never met him before, she always thought he was a prince who stole her princess mommy's heart.
Ami saw her mother as a princess from one of the bedtime stories her mother used to tell her every night. She knows how much her mother works hard to provide for her. But what makes her more curious was her father, she has never met him, have only seen him in his picture with her mother or alone. Her mother said her dad was a busy one and left in another country but he has never called her nor met her. But she was still happy she had her princess mother.
"Mommy" Ami ran to her mother and wrapped her small arms around her waist. No matter who her father is, she is still happy she has her mommy.
"Mommy you will not leave me like dada, right?" Ami mumbled under her breath, snuggling her small, round face in between Sara's legs. Even though her voice was soft and small, Sara heard her words. She blanks out for a second.
