Japan has been vacated right?

Right?

A gust of air suddenly waved throughout the Capitol, subtle vibrations from the buildings could be felt.

After the manifestation, we were in a stand still. I scanned the surroundings and everyone was in awe.

Awe for what the United Front has done. They didn't know Japan was vacated, this could be beneficial for us but Japan would start from zero after this war.

The people around the Temple started to make noise, I could hear them saying, "What have they done? Why would the gods permit this sort of massacre to happen?"

"Adelfo here in Epineo, Makoto and the Japanese have heard of the attack on Japan. They are grieving for the lives and history of their land but they are in gratitude still that all of them are safe."

Me and Doxa left for our house, what we used to call our home.

The Capitol wasn't used to be, the Capitol Police didn't roam around the area anymore, the cameras were turned off, the people didn't care and clothed themselves with whatever they want.

We entered the house and the place lit up as soon as Doxa entered, my eyes widened... This didn't happen before.

"Dunamis." Doxa spoke

I felt the house shook, something changed underneath us. I remember the tunnel that connected us to the school.

"This house was made by your Grandfather after all, we made it so we could always be safe even when the government would nuke this place."

We went to the basement and didn't look like the basement I've seen before. All the stuff we had here was gone, gears and enhancements hanged upon the wall and two bikes occupied most of the floor. The machine back in Epineo that could measure the output of our powers, there was something similar here as well.

I could hear a knock somewhere, Doxa approached the noise and pressed something on the wall.

One of the priests from the Temple appeared. He was an Epinean.

"Where did you come from?" I asked.

He and Doxa looked at each other and he immediately understood. The priest gave Doxa something that I couldn't see.

"I'll give you 10 minutes, Persie. This may be the last time we see this place."

"Nikolai here, the docks have been occupied by the Soviets and the Savannahs."

"Oh no." Doxa shook

I was clinging behind Doxa as we rode the bike and headed out towards were Vilde was.

Vilde was stationed a 2-3 kilometers away from the Blue House.

As we arrived, Doxa ran towards Vilde.

"The Soviets and the Savannahs are here, one family left to complete the Primordial Ancestry." Doxa said.

"Everything didn't go as planned but the prophecy continues, we really can't stop this, can we?" Vilde spoke as she peered through the sniper.

We were too far from the Blue House but I could see the sea of people surrounding the area.

I borrowed Vilde's binoculars and scanned the Blue House, the dark aura I've always seen emanating around Magus was seeping through the cracks that Malvado made during our battle. What does the dark aura mean? Why is it following the Malvados?

"Persephone, Magus is here." said Vilde.

I looked through the binoculars again, it was still far but the dark aura was enough to confirm. The aura muddled around Magus as if he was standing in rainstorm.

The Savannahs and The Soviets made their way to the Blue House, no one followed the rules anymore like I said. There should be a proper welcoming to foreign diplomats, but the war has ceased that tradition.

We approached the Blue House and blended ourselves with the crowd. The soldiers didn't permit the foreign nationals to enter.

I recognise the man who appeared from the car, Minister of Defense of the Soviets, Angel Petrovich.

"Petrovich, he is the Minister of Defense but in truth, he controls the Soviets." Vilde whispered.

"The Petrovich Family, another member of the Ancestry. He would be considered as the Head." Doxa explained.

He just stood there but the soldiers one by one, moved away from the barricade.

"Ah, a power of a king. A power that can make people kneel before him." I thought out loud.

The man, Angel suddenly turned towards me. Did he hear what I said?

I looked around but his gazed didn't left mine.

Doxa stepped in front of me.

The two cars entered the barricade and left Angel, the people around us started to dissipate.

"You." He pointed at Doxa.

"Adelfo here, on my way to the Blue House."

Angel slowly walked towards our direction.

"Adelfo, teleport us out of here." Vilde whispered.

It takes 5-10 seconds for Adelfo to manifest his borrowed powers, I could feel him coming but so did Angel.

He ran towards us, Adelfo appeared.

I held Doxa's hand and ran away from the Blue House.

"ADELFO!!!" Vilde screamed

I closed my eyes and I could sense a flashing light, I opened them slowly and...

I was left behind.

My hand slipped Doxa's as we ran.

No, no, no, no, no.

"You, you're the High Priestess."

Angel Petrovich had silver hair, and his silver hair matched his ivory skin. He was towering before me, and I felt like a mouse trapped.

"What do you~~"

Before I could even think, he grabbed my hands and my power manifest throughout my body.

I went back to the Primordial Ancestry period again, I could see people with similar features as Angel.

"Regina Dunamis is aiming for the head position."

I'm confused, why am I back here?

"I told you before, no amiable relations with the Dunamis. They are the most dangerous of the Families, the one condition to become Head is for them to kill an enemy family, and that is us."

"Brother, why must we follow these disgusting traditions, why not just leave peacefully among one another?"

She's the girl with Regina before.

The girl that she killed, so this man I'm inside right now was Regina's fated one.

This is the reason why Doxa was so startled when she knew the Soviets were coming to the United Front, it was because of the Petrovich Family.
