Chapter 13

*Alexanders point of view*

I glanced over at the sleeping figure of Louise beside me. Gently brushing her hair out of her face, I felt my expression soften in sympathy, I could only imagine the pain she was going through right now; I remember whenever my sister was on her time of the month I made sure to stay out the house for the week in order to escape the wrath of the mood swings. I shuddered as I remembered a particularly horrifying memory from my childhood .

Shaking the melancholic thoughts away, I tried to focus on the work I hadn't been able to complete the night before but I kept getting distracted by the beauty beside me. She kept making little whimpering noises and seemed to curl into herself more as time went by.

Finally giving up on my resolve, I flagged down an air hostess and with her help managed to pull the chair down so that it was almost horizontal in order for her to get a better rest. I may not like to flaunt my money, but I will gladly use it to get first class and away from those annoying little brats that like to wail and scream while pulling on my hair and kicking my chair. grimacing, I absent-mindedly placed my hands on Louise's belly and started to rub.

Just imagine my surprise when I heard a very soft and faint sigh, almost like the purr of a well-fed cat.

I smiled slightly at the fact that she liked my touch before focusing on my work while trying to ignore the nagging voice in my head wondering why touching her makes me feel settled.

2 hours later...

Ladies and gents can you please fasten your seatbelts as we are about to land. Landing in Charles De Gaulle at 8:23.

Hearing this, I quickly shook Louise awake, and helped to righten her seat to which I was rewarded a relieved and slightly worn out smile leaving me feeling slightly like a hero.

When the plane began it's decent, I leaned back slightly allowing Louise her first glance of Paris.

I could see her eyes widen as she took in the beautiful city as the plane soared past. She squeezed my arm in excitement and sent me a toothy grin reminding me of a child on Christmas. I had forgotten that she had never travelled abroad.

The moment the plane stopped, she was out her seat and one of the first off the plane. She seemed to have forgotten about her carry on luggage and the fact that she won't see the outside for another hour due to airport security, something even I couldn't side pass, not that I'd want to be able to.

Rolling my eyes at her childish behaviour, I pulled out her hand luggage and walked off the plane to find Louise surrounded by security guards. I stared at her befuddled. I had literally left her alone for less than five minutes, swearing under my breath,  quickening my paces, I reached the small gathering, while my arm slid around Louise's waist and pulled her against me. at least that way I could control her, of knew she didn't have a filter on that mouth.

'bonjour Messieurs , est-il un problème ici ' i asked them as I sent a glare towards Louise who had gone to say something, abruptly causing her to close it again.

'êtes-vous avec ce Liady ? elle nous a menacé avec une bombe,' the security gaurd said, worry quite eveident on her face, 'elle avait pas de bagages sur elle, donc nous soupçonnons qu'il soit emballé quelque part sur le plan ou avec un complice , si son bien avec vous , pourriez-vous suivre mon collègue ici pour cette chambre pendant que nous Condict une recherche sur vos lugagges . '

'what is it? what are they saying?' Louise whispered to me as my jaw dropped at what I had heard; I sent a horrified look towards Louise before nodding my head numbly. following the guards towards the secluded room I took a chair and took deep breaths in order to calm myself down before I got accused of murder.

'ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!' i bellowed at Louise after I couldn't contain my anger, 'WHY DID YOU THINK IT WAS APPROPRIATE TO THREATEN TO BOMB THE AIRPORT. WHERE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE IN?!'

I saw her face pale instantly as her eyes widened and her draw dropped. Seeing her slightly stagger on her feet, my instincts kicked in and I lunged for her, grabbing her right before she hit the floor.

'What?' she squeaked.
