I finished my breakfast quietly before I went to my room again to prepare.
I started with my face. I only applied powder, a little bit of peach lipstick and my Glossier lip gloss. I brushed my hair once more and got my baby blue LV sling bag to bring with me to school.
I put on my strapped black wedged shoes and white socks.
Going down the stairs, I already had my eyes on my brother who's wearing his usual pretty face.He looks dashing in his simple navy blue polo, jeans, and white sneakers. Include his messy hair, gold cross necklace and silver watch.
When he saw me all ready, he stood up from the sofa.
I walked towards his BMW X5. Beside it is my BMW Coupe that I never used because I'm still a minor. If there's any case I have to use it, I'm with a driver.
Joaquin's car is a convertible with the same brand as ours while Jedric has a Hybrid one. On the other end, is our parents' Range Rover.
I faced Jerich when I realized something.
"Mom and dad's home?" I asked as I got inside the car.
"Nope. They brought the Raptor since they have to check on some lands in the province," he drove past our rotunda until our gate.
When we arrived at school, I immediately got off. I even saw some students like me who has their eyes stuck on his car.
Well, I won't doubt it. Everyone will know that it's him because even his car screams his name 'Jerich'.
I shrugged my shoulders at that and decided to just go.
I gracefully walked in the hallways. I was skipping happily while some boys and girls smile at me but it all died down when I saw commotions outside our classroom.
My brows furrowed. What's going on?
Oblivious of the event, I ran towards our room. There are even girls surrounding a particular guy but I almost took a step back when I realized that it is Lucas's bees.
What are they doing in there?
When I got close, I squished myself in the crowd so I could enter but I almost tripped when my eyes met Lucas' orbs while he is what it seems like flirting with the girl infront of my chair.
"Me too, Lucas! Please teach me how!" A squeal from somewhere errupted. Huh?
"Woah, Ji! That uniform suits you!" Allanis who came from nowhere exclaimed.
And because her voice was a bit volumed up, it conquered the whole classroom and everyone turned their gazes on me.
My cheeks flushed as I gave Allanis a death stare.
I then glanced at Lucas only to see that he was checking me out. I facepalmed inwardly and just decided to sit on my chair.
Allanis was standing beside me who is almost breaking her neck in curiosity with the commotion with Lucas while holding a thick Mathematics book.
"What's going on?" I asked her. I can't ignore Lucas' scent attacking my nose, though.
"Huh? Well, they said that Ms. Torres can't come today so she just left us an assignment. It's hard so we decided to ask for help with them," she said. I can still feel Lucas's eyes throwing daggers at me while wearing his grin, as if something's funny with me.
"What assignment?" I ignored him and snatched Allanis' book. "Calculus?!"
Fudge! I'm not even good at this!
I immediately got my pen and notebook and tried an item.
I purposely eavesdropped in Lucas' conversation with my classmates to try to understand his explanation but the place is too noisy.
Even one of the girls who are in between my chair and Lucas' crouched down and her ass almost hit my face. I ducked quickly, afraid that I might smell some bad odor in there. There was another one next to him so two asses were almost in front of me. Are you serious?
"Ugh," I ruffled my hair and turned my back on them so I am now facing Calvin and his group.
"Hmm. Hot headed, are we?" Clyde teased me.
"You smelled their asses? I might die in there!" I complained exaggeratingly.
They laughed at my remark.
One more thing, I already told you. I take onle glimpse of Lucas' face, I get irritated wquikly. Now that this chaos is happening, I can now really say that my morning is ruined.
Biting my pen, I decided to just read the book and tried to understand the topic. But my brain even won't accept a word.
I sighed.
"Do you guys know how this works?" I asked the group I'm with.
"Nope. We're just actually waiting for the answers from the girls," Cole laughed and pointed at those gross-ass girls.
I returned my eyes to Calvin who is sitting casually while observing me. Some within the curcle is either on their phone or doing nothing. At all!
I groaned in realization that I won't get anything from here and returned my chair in its right place when everyone settled down a little.
Though Lucas was still there, observing me with his keen, mysterious eyes.
"Can you also do this for me, please?" Allanis handed Lucas her notebook.
"Sure," he said.
I turned into a giraffe when I tried to see what he is scribbling on my friend's notebook but his face was so close to it so I didn't saw a thing.
I winced and imagined myself pushing his face onto that stupid notebook.
Even though I am pissed by him, I swallowed my pride and decidedto just ask for his help.
"Can you also help me with this?" I almost cringed when I handed him mine.
He just looked at it and tore his eyes off immediately to continue with Allanis' homework.
I sighed and just waited until he's finished in hopes that he will give me a hand.
"Done," he said and smiled at Allanis as he returned her notes. Then he turned to me.
"Sorry, Ms. I'm afraid I can't help you," he said.
My jaw dropped. Huh? But he just finished my classmates' works!
"What? But you just helped my friend minutes ago and now you're saying that?"
"Well unfortunately, your math problems are too hard to solve," he fired back.
My brows furrowed in confusion. Did I copied the wrong homework? But I'm sure that this is it.
"Excuse me? My math problems are just the same with the others,"
He gave me his annoying smile and raised a brow. "Really? I didn't know. Your handwriting is just so poor that I didn't understand it,"
My eyes widened, feeling insulted and pissed off by the minute.
"So you're saying that my handwriting's ugly?"I exclaimed.
He shrugged his shoulders as he slouched. He was looking up to me since he's sitted and I'm standing in front of him.
"Isn't it?"
I inhaled a lot of air as I looked at Allanis's notebook. I examined his handwriting and it turns out, it's more ugly and complicated than mine.
I was about to throw daggers at him but when I looked back, he was already at the door, preparing to leave.
I groaned so loudly and slumped myself back to my chair.
"Try me, Narvaez. Try to mess with me again and you'll be so dead," I whispered.
