Chapter 8: We're Broke

The next morning, a soft knock on the door woke me up. Sebastian had sent up breakfast to my room, along with an invitation to today's event – a derby. I was quite happy about this one; I was very fond of horses.

As I munched on the fancy array of bread and spreads, and sipped on the soothing, hot coffee, I took the opportunity to grab the iPad that Sebastian had bestowed upon me to do a little research on Monaco. Despite it being a small country, it had a lot of history to it. It hosted some of the oldest palaces and churches in the world, and people from all around the world came to see them. They were the number one country in producing and exporting pears.
