035 | instant noodles

Cassie had a report to do. She thought of browsing on the internet, but she didn't want to rely on the sources of the internet too much, or else her report would be the same for everyone else, both looked on the internet. In all honesty, she found this report bothersome, but she didn't want her grades to drop, so it was better to make an effort to save her grades than nothing.

She thought of calling Natasha for advice on where she should look for further details. She held her phone and then pressed the call function to make a call for Natasha.

Natasha picked up the call as soon as she saw who was calling. "Hey, Cass."

"Um, Nat? Besides the internet or self-experiment, where should I look to search for an answer to start this report that our teacher gave?" she asked.

"Hm. Where should you look for an answer, huh?" Natasha pondered, but she thought of something that might help Cassie. "I think a library is a great place for that, no?"

She didn't think of that. "Oh yeah, you're right!"

"Need a hand?" Natasha asked.

She giggled. "I was about to ask for help, but looks like you're willing to do so."

Natasha expected Cassie would ask for her help. "Well, I happen to tell that first because I know you would. And I don't mind lending a hand, you know."

"So let's meet up tomorrow at the Great Library then?" she asked. "It's Sunday, so no classes."

So far, the teachers of Natasha didn't give a lot of things to do, so she could manage to finish what she had to do and could go and help Cassie without thinking about her assignments. "Sure. I suggest let's go around 10:30 AM. Good?"

"Perfect!" she agreed. "See you tomorrow, Nat."

"See you tomorrow, Cass."

"So you have plans for tomorrow, huh?" Liam understood what happened between the exchange of Natasha and Cassie somehow.

Natasha nodded. "Yeah."

"It's a shame," he was planning something tomorrow for him and Natasha, but that wouldn't happen.

Natasha wondered what did Liam mean. She had an idea, but it was better to ask. "It's a shame? Do you intend to invite me somewhere, Liam?"

"Yeah, but I guess that's not happening," he answered.

Natasha didn't want to cancel the plan Liam had, so she had a suggestion. "It could happen if you re-schedule it."

He smiled. "We can make it happen."

"Really?" Natasha asked. "Where? When?"

"7/11. Today," he answered.

Natasha didn't expect that. "Today? I heard that right, right?"

He nodded. "You heard that right, Natasha."

"All right," Natasha didn't mind.

He didn't know if he could hold the left hand of Natasha or not, so he wanted to ask for her permission. "Um, can I hold your hand?"

Natasha smiled at how Liam looked cute when he asked for her permission. "Of course, you can. Holding hands aren't exclusive for lovers, you know? Our family held our hands, so did our friends."

He smiled. "You're right, Natasha."

Natasha chuckled. "You do know I have Mum, Pops, and myself if you tried something funny."

He held the left hand of Natasha. "Yeah, I do know," he winked. "I'll take that as a reminder."

Both of them entered 7/11.

"Let's eat noodles," he craved eating instant noodles since it wasn't allowed in their home. "Oh, it's a treat from me, so don't bother contributing some coins."

Natasha wouldn't refuse. "All right. I'll have that Nissin Cup Noodles Beef and Milkis Muskmelon."

"As for me, I'll have the Seafood one and water," he thought of drinking soda, but he didn't since he drank soda at lunchtime. "Oh, can you find a spot where we could sit and wait there, all right?"

Natasha nodded. "Got it."

She looked for a spot where she and Liam could sit. It didn't take her long to find a suitable spot, so she sat down. She decided to listen to music while waiting for Liam to return.

She failed to track the time, so she was surprised when someone removed her right earphone and it turned out that someone was Liam. He placed her right earphone on his left ear to hear what she was listening to.

He smiled at the music Natasha listened to. "You like Evanescence."

Natasha gasped. She expected Liam wouldn't know who sang the music she was listening to. "Do you like Evanescence too?"

"I like some of their music, but Evanescence as a whole? More or less," he answered.

He returned her right earphone on the right ear of Natasha. He got their orders, so he placed those on the table.

"Mom loved those cookies you've made, Natasha," he informed, remembering how Katie tasted the cookies.

Natasha was glad to hear that. "I'm relieved Madam Speaker loved it."

She blew the noodles four times before she took a bite.

"Oh, Leon loved it too," he almost forgot about Leon.

"Leon too?" Natasha expected Leon would be finicky about the flavors of cookie. "I'm glad I have something to return to him after he gave me candies."

"I won't lose, Natasha," he would return something handmade, not just an instant purchased foods. "So expect I will return something."

Natasha had a feeling that Liam meant about the cookies she baked. "All right. I am willing to wait for that day, Liam."
