Thirty Two

We looked to each other and grabbed our knives and turned around, ready to attack whoever was behind us. George dodged Nara's swing, and Joan blocked mine with her knife. We were happy that it was them and not some guards, but at the same time, that meant that they knew we were following them. George asked us why we were sneaking around in the middle of the night, and Nara said that we were following them and asked what they were doing sneaking around in the middle of the night.

George said that they were out for a late night stroll, but Nara called him out on his lie saying "most people don't sneak out for a 'late night stroll.' Especially with their best friend's lover." The conversation went back and forth between the two of them until Joan told us the truth. A week and a half prior, Donatello found out that the captured general wasn't affected by the spell.

There was a rumour going around that she managed to "heal" her son, Raphael, as well. She played along with the curse her colleagues were under until her own son ratted her out to Paul. George thanked us saying that he wasn't sure if she really was in Kingspin, but because of mine and Nara's noisiness, we confirmed it for him. He thought that she was the hero we were looking for.

Nara and I kind of, sort of blackmailed him and Joan into letting us help him. They let us go with them and as we were headed to the prison, George told us the plan to break into the prison.
