Chapter Hundred & Five: Past: Focus & Murder

My heartbeat was loud as if someone had turned up the stereo and for the whole building. My fear and anxiety had decided to bring all my demons and fear in one place to bury my life and hope. They wanted to bury me deeper than my failure and my regrets. All that played in my mind was what would I do now?

"Unico? Focus." He said as he read me.

I knew I had most probably gone pale, I had most probably looked like someone who was dumb folded but would you be? If a secret so important to you was in the hands that controlled the life of someone you would do anything for. If they had a clue of something that wasn't ready to be revealed yet.

"Bring it back." I croaked.

"Why? Did I just take a piece that was important to your side of the chessboard? Talk to me Unico." He teased.

"That is my grandmother's," I whispered as tears gathered in my eyes. "It's the only thing I have left of her."

"I haven't seen you wear it before though," he questioned
