"Hey, do you want to get out of here?"
Siren nodded, her eyes closing, only seconds from falling asleep. Meraki chuckled all the while leaving trails of kisses on her jaw, down to her neck. She really likes teasing her like this, too bad Siren can't react right now.
"Hey, are you really sleeping?" She reaches out for her chin and raises her face up slightly, Siren's face giving out a slight blush, her lips wet from the alcohol and slightly agape, and her eyes half-open. Meraki can't help groaning in disappointment.
She looks so goddamn sexy right now that she could take her right this instant, if only she wasn't drunk.
"Peach..." Siren mumbled under her breath and leaned on her shoulder.
Of course. The reason they're in this state right now is because of that girl named Peach. It got her curious as she never met that girl ever.
"She's not here."
"Peach..."
"If she's that important to you then why did you let her go?" Siren didn't answer. "You sounded so desperate for acting this way." She sighed and took a sip of her drink. Unlike Siren, her alcohol tolerance is high. "Who am I to say that, anyway? As if I'm any better."
Her eyes landed on the entrance door when two girls entered the bar. They looked around and one of them focused their gaze on her, most specifically on the person peacefully sleeping on her shoulder.
"Don't tell me..."
The two talked for a while, probably to choose where to sit until the girl staring at her earlier pointed in their direction.
"I think you should wake up, Siren." She whispered. Meraki could somehow guess the identity of the newcomers and she was certain that the person staring at them coldly is Peach. What are the odds that the seat beside Siren is empty? There weren't any people at the bar since it was a weekday and their seating in front of the bartender. The newcomers could've chosen other empty seats somewhere else but still chose to sit closer to them.
'Am I just imagining things?'
"What about you, Peach?" She heard the other girl ask.
Bingo. She is really Peach.
Meraki grins secretly. 'Too bad Siren is asleep, this could be a sight to see.'
To her surprise, Siren jolts up and stares at her.
"Not drunk anymore?"
"Flowers..." She mumbled as she look around.
"Huh?"
She continued looking around in her disheveled state until her eyes landed on Peach, who is calmly looking at her as if waiting for this moment to happen.
"Peach."
"Siren, I didn't expect to see you here." Siren didn't say anything.
'I wanted to see her reaction,'
"Why are you always showing up at the times I wanted to forget you, huh?" She stands up, swaying, and almost falling if not for Meraki swiftly grabbing her waist.
"Hey, slow down!"
"I was just here to drink, I don't even know you'll be here too." Peach answered calmly.
"You're too drunk, I'll take you home."
"Yeah, bring her home. She's causing a scene already." Peach's companion says as she glares at Siren.
"Don't be so mean, Via."
"How am I mean? I'm just stating the obvious."
"Siren-"
Siren forcefully removes Meraki's hand and hugs Peach.
"Hey!" - Via
"Siren?"
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry, Peach."
Meraki sighed, already regretting her decision on agreeing to a drink.
'This should be the last time we're drinking on a weekday. What a wrong timing.'
"I'm sorry..."
Siren continued uttering those words for a few minutes, not nudging even when Meraki tried to separate the two.
"I'll bring her home." Peach finally decided. She must've realized as well that Siren will continue her behavior until she falls asleep. She successfully stands up, with Siren still hugging her.
"Do you know where she lives?"
"I do." Peach smiles at Meraki but her eyes look cold she abandons whatever protests she has in mind.
'What have you gotten into, Siren?'
"What about me, Peach? You're just leaving me here?"
"I'm sorry, Via. I'll make it up to you next time."
"What-"
"Let's go home, Siren." Peach's tone suddenly changed, it became gentle and sweet, the complete opposite of how she is with Meraki and Via.
"Y-you're not mad at me anymore?"
"How can I get mad at you? Let's go, I'll take you home."
Siren nodded and followed Peach like a child, holding onto her hand tightly. Meraki just watched the two of them disappear from their sight. She sighs in defeat as she sits on the chair again.
'And I thought I'd get laid tonight. Tsk.'
She notices Peach's companion earlier. Via, was it? Looking really mad holding her glass of alcohol. She grinned.
'She'll do for tonight.'
"Hey, so you got ditched too, huh?"
-
Peach stared at Siren sleeping peacefully in her bed. How long has it been since they last saw each other? It was just last week, at the wedding but it feels like a long time for her. She carefully sits down on the bed, afraid of waking her up. Who knows what will happen if she wakes up sober and sees her right next to the bed?
"You're just going to push me away like you always do." She whispered as she remove traces of hair that is covering her face. Nothing has changed in her appearance, she just got more mature. She then proceeded to lightly touch her face, until it stopped on her lips.
As if on cue, Siren slowly opens her eyes.
"Peach?"
"Yeah, I'm h-"
Siren grabs her almost forcefully so that she didn't have time to react and kissed her.
The kiss is wild and hungry as if to make up for all the time that they've lost. Siren's hands started to explore her body, making sure to touch everything. The heat started to build up inside of them. Loud gasps and moans fill the air and as their clothes started to get removed one by one, they know that it's too late to back out now.
"Siren, you know what's about to happen, right?" Peach still managed to ask as she successfully get on top of her. Siren could only nod, her face filled with tears.
"Why are you crying? Does it hurt?"
"No..."
"Then why?"
"I hurt you."
"Yeah. And you're going to make it up to me, right?"
"I'm really sorry..."
Peach silenced her by kissing her again and successfully thrusting a finger inside her. Siren could only moan, not anticipating that action. As another finger got added, the rhythm became faster too. It's as if they're hurrying up for a race.
As she could feel her release coming, Siren can only utter the words that filled her mind.
"I like you... Peach, I like you."
Peach watched as Siren tremble at her own release. Siren still managed to grab her again for a kiss.
"Peach, I-"
"I know, Siren. I know."
She seemed to be satisfied as she fell asleep not too soon after. Peach heaved a sigh, slightly regretting what happened just a moment ago.
"You could only be honest when you're unaware of it." She sighs once more before covering Siren with a blanket.
"You never learn, Siren."
