Chaos (Part 4)

Kurogiri's portal opened over the prison courtyard. Shigaraki and Dabi dropped down. Toga was still in the facility somewhere and Vortex had been ordered to stay back due to the toll his quirk takes on his body. Both villains stood up as a group of guards charged them, not recognizing them. The guards didn;t notice as another portal opened above them, and four giant Nomus came crashing down. The guards were reduced to a puddle of blood within moments of the Nomus attacking. More guards arrived, armed with rifles. Shigaraki's eyes narrowed. "We need to buy as much time as possible." Dabi nodded, igniting his flames. "They better get up here before the pro heroes arrive."

Most of the prisoners had escaped their cells the moment the doors opened. Each and every single one of them were always looking for ways to escape this pit. Wake was no exception. He had sprinted out of his cell the second he saw the opportunity. He sprinted towards the wing doors and had almost made it when the emergency lockdown began. He ran right into the heavy metal door, unable to stop in time. He held his head as he looked up at the cat walks, where guards began to run in with riot suppression weapons. The rest of the prisoners started getting nervous. Wake closed his eyes and put his hands up in surrender. "Hold still." Wake turned his head and saw Spinner crouched down behind him. He smiled. "Never thought I'd be so happy to see your lizard-looking ass." Spinner smirked as he kept messing with the quirk-inhibitor collar on Wake's neck. "Same goes to you, you hot-shot newbie!" Wake lost his smile. "If you're trying to use your quirk to tear through this thing, it won't work." Spinner held his hand in front of Wake's face and revealed his claws. "These collars only work on activation quirks, like yours and the rest of the team's. My quirk is physical: it can't be turned off." Wake smiled as Spinner slashed the collar, and the pieces fell to the ground. Wake stood up. "Show time." He aimed his hands at both catwalks and unleashed all of the water he could all at once. The few guards who got blasted directly by the high powered water were incinerated by the steel-cutting pressure. Most of the guards were knocked over the sides and fell into the crowd of villains and criminals below. While the guards were all jumped by the criminals, Wake directed his water towards the main door. After a few seconds, the door fell apart. Wake stopped, his arms now aching. His voice was strained as he spoke through the pain. "...I've… never used that… much before…" Spinner grabbed his arm and started dragging him. "Come on! We have to go!" They began to run through the complex.

The pair of villains sprinted down the hallway, but stopped in front of a large group of guards in riot armor. Spinner swore. "That was fast." Wake clenched his fists. "They're not considered the best guards in the world for nothing, I guess." Spinner turned to Wake. "Can you use your quirk again?" Wake shook his head. "I used up too much back there. I'm still empty. You can climb the walls and get out of here though. I can-" "I'm not going to leave you, Wake!" Suddenly, they were both gone. The guards looked around, confused. Then they saw the one armed Mr. Compress running along the catwalk. He looked down into his palm, making sure he didn't drop or crush the two blue orbs he was holding. "Sorry guys, but I didn't see another way for the three of us to escape. I'll free you as soon as I can." He managed to stay one step ahead of the guards as he made his big escape.

The lights went out in the heavy containment zone. The most dangerous criminals were held here. It was here where Muscular shattered his cell doors. It was here where All for One stood up out of his chair and killed every single guard outside of his cell. However, deep underground, in the solitary confinement wing, was a cell that remained pitch black. If someone had been in the cell, they could've seen two eyes open, and looked around. Upon hearing the chaos around him, he smiled a very bright smile: the smile that only a lunatic can have.
