Jessica's P.O.V

So many things ran through my head after that call. I was unsure of what to do next. My phone ran again. I knew it was Phillip so I picked it up angrily. " What!", I shouted." I know you' re angry Jess but you need to prepare for whatever is coming your way", Phillip said trying to encourage me to stay strong. At the same time, Layla walked in looking at me. I looked at her with fear in my eyes. "I think Jason' s coming to Canada to take away Jase and Jessy from you", Phillip said. I started to breathe really hard. I could barely catch my breath. Layla rushed over to my side as I hanged up the phone again. She went and fetched some water forcing me to drink it. " Talk to me Jess, who was that?", she said leading me to take a seat at the island table. I tried to calm down but, I couldn't." Jason knows about Jase and Jessy. I knew that this day was going to come but, I wasn't prepared for it Layla. I wasn't", I said sobbing between sentences. " Hey... It' s ok. I' m here. We' re all here Jess", she said assuring and hugging me. " I know, but he's coming to Canada. And just thinking about it.....", I said when she cuts me off. " Jess, we both knew that this day was going to come. And now it's here. What are you going to do about it?. You' re going to stand up for yourself. Be the brave person that you are and fight for Jessy and Jase. But you cannot deny the fact that those children are his and yours as well. He' s the father Jess.", Layla said breaking the hug and looking at me. " I know that", I said getting up. " Then let him come and see what he has to say. Talk to each other", she said sounding serious now. " You don' t understand Layla, I know Jason and he is going to do everything in his power to take those kids from me", I said looking at her.
