Into The Nether They Go

NetherWorld

The Crimson Forest

"We did not come here to reignite the flame, EnderBrine," Daniel mentioned as EnderBrine stood in place, staring at Elena specifically, "we've come to gather supplies for a Witch who kidnapped Petra."

EnderBrine's appearance has changed since the last time he and Daniel met. No longer, did purple particles float around him. Remember how his eyes used to be purple? Well now only one eye was purple. The other, red.

"So you haven't come to free me from banishment?" EnderBrine questioned.

"No hard feelings. But no," Daniel responded.

"I'm sorry," EnderBrine apologized as he gazed at Elena. He was examining her from head-to-toe. "Have we met before? I have an odd feeling we have."

Elena wasn't so ecstatic about coming to the NetherWorld. This place was the most dangerous dimension to ever exist, and to be stuck in.

"As a matter of fact, we have," Elena said, "you attacked my Biome, burning it to the ground. Oh did I also mention you almost killed me too?"

"Ahh, you're Elena. The Great and Powerful Merlin's assistant. I knew I recognized you," EnderBrine said as the memory came back to him. "I'm sorry for everything. The harm I've caused. The chaos I caused. But if I may, can I just say one thing?"

"No!" Elena shouted loudly at EnderBrine, "you may not. Do you know how hard it was for me after that night? I was clinging onto those iron bars for hours until I was finally rescued by a trading Villager."

"Like I said, I'm very sorry for everything. I truly mean that from the bottom of my—," EnderBrine said as Elena interrupted him.

"From the bottom of your heart?" Elena questioned, "what heart? You don't have a heart. You know, for a second there, I thought you changed. But you haven't. You're just playing the 'I'll be nice' game with us."

"I'm not playing any sort of game," EnderBrine confessed. "I've changed since then. Since my banishment, I've had a lot of time on my hands to think of my actions. Actions that led me here."

"Can I just finish him here? Right now?" Elena asked Daniel as she grabbed her diamond sword out of her inventory. She held it in her hand.

"Now wait just a second Elena," Daniel said as he moved his arm in an up and down motion, telling her to put her sword down. "It seems that banishment has taught you a lesson, has it not?"

"Very much so," EnderBrine said. "It's taught me that being the bad guy isn't good for me. I was only doing it because I was told to by some blockhead named David."

"Wait a second," Daniel said, "you were instructed to do those things to the OverWorld by this so-called David blockhead?"

EnderBrine looked at Daniel. He nodded his head. "Yes. He told me that it's part of a grand plan of his. He's the one who told me about the Forbidden Cave and the Crystal."

"Hmm, interesting," Daniel said as he scratched his head.

"Alright enough you two!" Elena said in an upset and frustrated tone, "we came here to gather supplies for this wicked Witch and for a new set of armor. We didn't come here to catch up."

Daniel glanced at EnderBrine. He shrugged his shoulders. "She has a point. We need to hurry and get back to the OverWorld."

"I understand. C'mon, the Nether Wart Forest is a tricky place to be in. Luckily, I know the ins and outs of this World," EnderBrine said, "I'll show you the way out."

"Thank you, EnderBrine," Daniel said as EnderBrine turned around and began walking through the forest. Daniel and Elena followed behind him.

Elena leaned in closer to Daniel and gazed at him. "Just so you're aware, he's not forgiven for his actions."

"That's understandable. But be grateful he's willing to help us get what we need," Daniel said. "Just be nice to him, okay? Do it for Petra and Merlin."

As they continued to venture across the hostile terrain of the NetherWorld, Scarlet was preparing to carry out her first action as Queen.

The entire Kingdom was gathered near the castle. Everyone was wondering what was going on. Why Scarlet was standing on the platform four blocks above the ground was unknown to the people. Merlin and Ceres were also standing on the platform. In the center of the platform was a woman wearing a pumpkin over her head. She had her hands tied behind her back.

"Good morning everyone," Scarlet said, "today, I am going to make an example of this woman under the pumpkin."

Scarlet turned around and slightly nodded at Victor. Victor walked up to the restrained woman and grabbed the pumpkin. He rose his arms into the air, taking the pumpkin off of her head. It was Carlily. She was the one under the pumpkin. But why?

"Carlily, who was not in attendance at the Ceremony yesterday, decided she would send the dragon off to find her friends. My true intentions for this Kingdom aren't as many of you would like to think," Scarlet began to lecture the people of the Kingdom.

Everyone gasped. Some were murmuring to one another. They all wondered what Scarlet's true intentions were now that she was their Queen.

"Today, as I mentioned a moment ago, my first action as Queen will be to execute this traitor. Not only did she commit treason, but she also killed three Guardsmen yesterday. Because of that, I've found her guilty of all her crimes and sentenced her to death by poison," Scarlet explained to everyone.

They all gasped again in utter shock. Farmer John raised his hand into the air. Scarlet looked at him. "You may speak once this is over, is that understood?"

Farmer John slowly lowered his arm and slouched his head. Scarlet then turned around to look at Carlily once more. "Carlily," she said, "do you have any last words?"

Carlily glanced at Scarlet. The utter disgust and petrified look on her eyes was intimidating. She did have something to say, but it wouldn't be good.

"As a matter of fact, I do," Carlily said, "Scarlet here, the crooked woman you voted into the Throne, took my son from our home and brought him to the Castle. I haven't seen him since. So why don't you ask your Queen where HeroBrine is now, hmm?"

"That's enough," Scarlet said as she turned again to face everyone. "I hope that after today, everyone will comply with the rules?"

No one responded. Not a single blockhead spoke. Then someone disturbed the bitter quietness with a cough. Although the majority of the Kingdom was attending the public execution, there were five blockheads absent.

They were: Romeo, Julian, Freddie, Amelia, and Hayley. Nothing Scarlet related was important. They were too busy armoring up. The five of them all had the same type of armor—iron armor. Tonight is going to be an extremely crucial night for the five of them.

Tonight...they're going to raid the castle and make Scarlet pay for her actions. Then, just maybe, will she get a taste of her own medicine?

Once Romeo, Julian, Freddie, Amelia and Hayley, finished putting their armor on, they were prepared to go. When the sun sets, is when they're mission would begin. All they had to do now was wait for the sun to set.

Back in the Nether, EnderBrine and Daniel and Petra finally made it out of the Nether Wart forest. But that was only the start. The next obstacle to overcome was the Soul Sand Valley. The sand was known to slow down movement, making it useless to even try and outrun a mob. Especially the Zombified Piglins. Those mobs were very territorial.

If anyone got to close one, the Zombified Piglins would start chasing after you. Unless you don't want that to happen, I suggest stay as far away from it as possible. Wouldn't want to be their next victim, would we?

"Where are you taking us, EnderBrine?" Daniel asked.

"To the fortress. I'm sure there are some useful supplies there," EnderBrine said, "The sooner we get you some stuff, the sooner we can all go home."
