/Intro/

 I fell in love with her smile because it was odd- her words were sweet, but she looked strange. Her smile would unwind once she was alone, her eyes narrowed in tiredness, her legs looked weak, her arms almost dropping her books, and her stomach growling out of hunger, but- around others, she played the part of a hero with a smile. She saved many, helped others, defended herself, and took care of everyone, no matter what. She acted one way but was another- everyone saw her as a perfect doll, but I only saw a broken girl giving a smile for everyone because it brightened their days- her smile made them happy, and it made her happy too.

He wasn't like regular people; he didn't push me aside- he kept me close. He wanted to hear me, see the real me, and that scared me. He was able to tell the truth, see what others didn't, fight for what he wanted or knew what was right, no matter what I did- he always saw the happiness... why was he ok with being rejected? Why was he ok with pushing me over the finish line? Why was he ok with losing? Why was he ok with anything I said? Why was he ok with me yelling at him? Why was he ok with me? Why did he want me?

First Glance

Let's get one thing straight, as much as I wanted to win the R.U.N contest- I instead let Sue take the ropes.  Why I pushed her, I have no idea, and I still wonder why, but who cares.  She was happy, and it was great to see the proudest smile on her face- that beats anything that could have happened if I didn't push her.  Right now, I'm just driving after a terrible day of arguing with my parents; I love my family, but the criticizing and the arguing is too much for me to handle right now.  All I wanted was to call Aanu... I know I should want to call Smiley, but I still love Aanu, and I really want to hear her voice.  I saw a notification pop up on my phone; I stopped at a stoplight and checked it.  Two things showed up, a message from Smiley and a notification from Aanu's Insta page...


My heart ached, so I checked Aanu's new post.  "Living my best life with my hubby, best boyfriend ever!<3"


Above the paragraph was her and her new boyfriend; I dropped my phone and started to drop tears as I kept driving.  Quickly my eyes overflowed, and it was blurry to drive- I felt a crash and then nothing...


My eyes opened, revealing an intense light above me; I glanced around to see I was in a hospital bed...?  I saw my sister, and she hugged me.  "ADDY! YOUR AWAKE!" She cried.  "What happened?" I noticed my left arm in a cast- "You got into a car crash, and your arm was ripped open with you unconscious!"


I stared at my phone, "Why hasn't Ad responded?" I sighed, grabbing my phone one last time to text him- "Hey, are you ok? Text me back."
