You'll drive me crazy one day....

Aaron's pov

"Guys, there's this 1D's concert and I wanna go there really bad. Please let's just go. Please, please, please." Lizz gives us all a puppy dog look, her eyes are shining with hope which is very hard for us to break.

We all are seated in a cafe close to the university after a long day of hectic classes.

"Eliza, that concert location is almost 600 miles from here." Luke protests.

"Oh pottatoo, you just shut up okay! If I offer you food you'll come running." Lizz narrows her eyes at him.

"How sweet, Eliza. You know me so well." He grins at her like a child.

She gives him a stink eye and turns to us putting on the most convincing look she could.

"So, guys please." She pleads.

"Lizz, we'll have to spend a day just travelling back and forth by car." Daisy shakes her head.

"You're so mean, Han." Lizz glares at her only girl best friend.

"Love, it's not about being mean. We'll miss classes, plus travelling for such long hours. That's not possible." Daisy reasons out.

"Guys, calm down now. Let's think about it. Drop the matter here." Jake, the peacemaker grabs our attention and then turns his attention to his phone.

"Fine. Don't come. I'm going alone. Just know that you all are assholes." With that Lizz grabs her bag, phone and walks out of the cafe.

"You guys really forgot?" Jake asks after a few moments of silence.

"Do you think we can forget?" I ask followed by Daisy.

"So much faith you have in us, Jakey chain." Daisy says sarcastically rolling her eyes at him.

"It was so much fun watching her getting riled up." Luke grins evilly.

"We know it's her birthday three days from now and the concert is the next day." He adds.

"Let's show her what kind of assholes we are." Daisy says with a mischevious grin.

"What's the plan then?" Luke asks sipping on his caramel macchiato.

"We're going but we won't let her know." Jake shrugs his shoulders as if it was the most obvious thing.

"What are you planning?" Daisy asks this time with more seriousness.

"Daisy can't help us because she upright said no. As for Luke, they'll end up killing each other by the time they make it there. That leaves me and Aaron. One among us will approach her and go with her to the concert."

"Then?" I ask curiously.

"The plan goes like this......" And then he narrates the entire plan which leaves us all surprised. It's as if he's been planning all of this since a long time. It didn't sound like a spontaneous plan. But I have this feeling that he's planning something else too.

"That sounds like a really good surprise." Luke gushes in a girly voice trying to tease Jake.

"So Jake, you're accompanying her right?" This time its Daisy's question.

"Uh actually, I can't. I've something to take care of, but Ronnie will do, right?" He directs the question towards me and I don't even take a second to answer.

"Yeah sure. I've no issue." As soon as the words leave my lips, I hear a sharp intake of breath and I snap my head towards Daisy only to spot her glaring daggers at the pasta while butchering the poor mac n cheese.

"Dee, How can you do this?" Luke says with a loud dramatic gasp.

"What happened?" We ask in unison. We've been doing this a lot lately.

"She's murdering that heavenly mac n cheese, I can give my life for." He says earning a slap on the back of his head from Jake and a deathly glare from Daisy while I chuckle softly.

"Okay okay, I'm leaving now. You both handle the pissed off Daisy." With that he picks his back and sprints out of the cafe, leaving us laughing. Well, except Daisy I guess.

"I think I should also leave now," Jake says with a knowing smile on his face and walks away.

"And yeah, pay our bill." He winks at us and walks out.

Traitors. I wanted to avoid Daisy until I get full information about Brandon but I guess I'll have to face her now. That too in a bad mood. Daisy and her pissed off mood is not something we like to handle. But she's our friend, my love. I'll have to and I will.

"Why did your mood suddenly take a 360-degree flip?" I ask glancing curiously at her.

"Nothing." She says and throws few dollar bills on the table and prepares to leave.

"Laz---" She cut me off immediately.

"Bye, Aaron." She mutters under her breath and walks out.

Aaron? She didn’t call me Ron or Ronnie like she usually does, this means something is really wrong. She is not herself anymore. She’s lost and I need to find her back.

What is it with everyone walking out on me today? I groan and hit my head on the table before following her.

When she almost reached her car, I grab her elbow and swing her around to face me. Deep frown lines form on her beautiful face and she turns her head away from me without pulling her arm from my grasp.

Gently, I cup her face in between my palms forcing her to face me. Something flashes in her eyes but it’s gone before I could even decipher it.

“Gummy bear, don’t worry. I’ll find him for you. I promise you, I will.” I whisper staring into those deep chocolate brown orbs which hold vulnerability, pain and suffering.

“Don’t find him, Ron. Not until we’re back from this trip.” She mumbles softly placing her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her shoulder holding her fragile frame close to me.

“Don’t worry. You’re my girl, I’ll do anything to get back that sparkling smile on your face. If you don’t want me to find him now, then I won’t. Just know that I’m just a call away. Whenever you need me to find him, I’ll do it. Just don’t worry.” I breathe in the sweet fragrance of her vanilla and rose shampoo.

“Thank you.” She snuggles close as if I’ll disappear the moment she loosens her hold on me.

“I love you, my Lazy Dazy.” I place a lingering kiss on her temple before pulling away.

Driving back home, my mind kept replaying the moment outside the cafe. It was different. It wasn’t like those hugs we shared before, it was something more. The way she held onto me like her life depended on it, the way she got angry when I said I’ll go with Lizz, it was something more. Something I’ve been yearning for all this time.

Or maybe you’re reading more in between the lines. My brain reasoned out.

Whatever it meant, it was blissful. Something I enjoyed the greatly.

What are you doing to me, girl? You’ll drive me crazy one day….
