We all sat in our hotel room's living room. Miss Helena sat in front of us on the sofas while our friends stood behind us.
"Why have you come, Miss Helena?" Stephen asked.
"I guess I shall not hold it back much longer," Miss Helena brought her cup down and sighed. "I saw a vision."
"A-A vision?" I asked. "What kind of vision?"
"Your death," she replied that made my mates grip my hands. "Klyde Moonschild, a force of green and purple shall go against the force of nature once more and will come to kill you. Along with your–"
My mates stood before she could finish. Their auras pulsated with fury. The mere thought of me and our pups dying made them angry like this.
"Calm down alphas," Miss Helena commanded with as equal fury in her aura. Her presence was peculiar. It was scary but it was calm. Like raging waters but with a calm flow.
She picked her tea up and quirked her brow, "Sit down."
My mates hesitantly followed, flopping down the couch and intertwining our hands once more.
"We will not let Olivia hurt our mate again, Miss Helena," Aaron said. "We'll die if Klyde gets hurt again."
"That's why I am here," Miss Helena smiled. "You're both my sons, Aaron and Stephen, and your mate is also my son. I will help you against The Witch."
"H-How are you, miss?" Stephen asked.
"I am doing well, Stephen," Miss Helena smiled. "I'm still living with my regrets."
I looked at her with worry, "Regrets?"
'Let's talk about it later, babe,' Aaron said but Miss Helena shook her head.
"It's okay, Aaron," Miss Helena said and looked at me, "Luna, I am a Lightsear. For my 200 years worth of life, I had always been right. I've only made a mistake once."
I've read about the Sears in books. They are those who are gifted with abilities to see the future and are classified into four. Greensears can see the positive futures such as luck and births while the Redsears are the polar opposite, seeing curses and deaths. Lightsears are those who can see positive futures but can also glimpse a portion of the negative future. Darksears are the opposite of Lightsears.
Any race can attain the ability of a Sear. It is not exclusive to those of a single race. That's what the book I read said.
"The only wrong vision I had was of Celestine's future," Miss Helena continued. "I foresaw that she was going to be the alpha of her pack but I was wrong."
"I thought the visions of Lightsears are rare but are the most accurate?" I asked.
Miss Helena nodded, "That's why–"
"The Witch will go against fate once more?" Stephen cut her off.
"Yes," Miss Helena said. "My vision was overpowered with rage. A woman defied fate and caused your sister's death."
"Why?" I interrupted. If this was about Olivia, then I should be as much as involved. This was my guardian after all. I know more about her than anyone else.
"I also do not know," Miss Helena said. "For I can only see the future, not the past."
"But why did you know about Celestine's death?" Aaron asked.
“Sears know when the laws of the Five Creations had been crossed,” Miss Helena sighed. “I was just too naïve to be filled with sorrow and regret that I did not saw the connection.”
“What did you saw?” Stephen asked.
“Celestine saw something that she shouldn’t have,” Miss Helena became even more serious. “Something that the Witch did not want us to know.”
I held my breath and clutched my mates’ hands tighter. “Do you know what it is?”
She shook her head that made disappointed paint all over my face. “Does it have to do with me?”
“Yes. Klyde, you are the son of–”
The door opened and we snapped our heads to see who it was. “Guys! I have a bad–” Margaret stopped. Her face scrunched in confusion and then with surprise.
“Everyone, watch out!” she yelled.
Miss Helena stood and shouted at us. The force of her shout was so strong that we were almost thrown away.
“Miss Helena is dead! She’s an imposter!” Margaret yelled and lunged forward.
The imposter pointed her palm at the red-haired beta and shot a fire ball at her. Margaret quickly swerved to the right and shifted her hands to claw the imposter.
“Olivia!” Aaron and Stephen yelled.
I looked at the imposter in front of us and her face melted. She shivered a few times before Olivia’s face was revealed. The moment her mask wore off, her scent quickly covered the room.
Everyone growled as Olivia floated in the air, purplish black electrical lines traveled throughout her body.
Olivia laughed, “Did you miss me?”
“Hell no!” Stephen roared and shifted his hands. Aaron followed and the two of them leaped towards the floating witch.
Olivia wrapped her arms on her body and opened it in one swift motion. A wave of purplish wind followed her movements, pushing my mates away.
The Witch raised her hand and a dark cloud flowed from her palms. The cloud covered the entire ceiling before it released a bolt of purplish black strike.
“B*tch!” Aaron yelled. Everyone was growling at her, avoiding the lightning strikes as we tried to find an opening.
“How are we supposed to beat her?” Aaron asked. It was getting harder and harder to avoid the attacks since the numbers of lightning strikes kept on increasing.
“If she’s half fairy then…” I trailed off and ran towards the side where we kept an iron lamp Stephen said we should buy.
“Hey b*tch!” I yelled but she didn’t respond. She was so busy casting the spell with her head looking up that she couldn’t hear me. “Try this!”
I threw the lamp over to her and it reached her arm. She instantly flinched at the contact, the iron burning her arm.
“I’ll kill–”
Several more wolves from the other packs arrived. Alicia lead them and she growled at Olivia.
“You called for reinforcements?” Olivia mocked. “How weak! But I will come back for you. I will kill you, Klyde!”
That was her last words before she disappeared into thin air. Olivia escaped again.
“Are you okay?”
I was instantly hugged by two muscled arms. My body responded to the contact, submissively feeling their warmth over me.
My hands found their way to my stomach, then to my mates. “We will survive this.”
