Chapter 13 - He Drunk & Upset

"Daisy," Zen knocked on Daisy's room when it was night time to rest.

Daisy opened the door to her room which only showed her nightgown wearing a negligee. Daisy's eyes looked so beautiful and sweet. The negligee with the dark brown machete motif was truly impressive in Zen's eyes.

"What's going on?" Daisy asked sleepily.

"I want to sleep in your room," Zen said, then walked into Daisy's room just like that.

"H-hey! No way! W-we haven't become anything yet. I-I..."

It's too late. When Daisy tried to stop Zen from getting into her bed, Zen was already asleep on her bed. Then Zen immediately fell asleep there without a top. It was clear that Zen was really sleepy and just disappeared into the earth.

Daisy sighed in exasperation. She finally gave in to the situation and fell asleep by Zen's side.

The sun had not yet shone, Zen was awakened by the smell of cooking that he smelled through his nostrils. He glanced to his side that Daisy wasn't there. Even though it was still half past six in the morning. Zen sighed, sitting up as he gathered his life.

"She's awake. Did I go straight to bed last night?" Zen asked himself.

Instead of thinking about an answer, Zen finally came out of Daisy's room. The smell of Daisy's cooking was overpowering as she headed into the kitchen. He saw a cup of black coffee, the smoke was still billowing on the table there.

Zen didn't greet Daisy. In fact, he deliberately looked at the woman until Daisy was surprised when she was about to serve her food.

"Thanks for the coffee," Zen said as he waved his coffee cup to Daisy.

"You're welcome, KANYA!" said Daisy, sneering at the end of the word.

Zen choked and he looked at Daisy. Daisy suddenly mentioned Kanya's name. It wasn't Zen who had misheard, it was something that happened last night. He did drink alcohol, but only a little.

"Why? Surprised?" Daisy asked sarcastically.

"What do you mean, Daisy?"

Daisy then sat across from Zen. Prepared breakfast and looked at Zen seriously. "You have time to explain to me, who is Kanya, Zen!"

Instead of being angry, Zen was fascinated by Daisy's annoyance. Zen could see a hint of curiosity, jealousy and emotion right there in Daisy's eyes. Then he was a little confused explaining to Daisy about Kanya. It shouldn't be now, for Daisy to know this.

"Tell me what happened last night, until you mentioned Kanya's name in front of me," Zen said, stalling for time.

Daisy chuckled, rolling her eyes. She leaned her shoulders back on the chair and took a deep breath. "You came into my room last night with that smell of your alcohol and went to sleep and were talking about Kanya's name. So who is she?"

"My ex-girlfriend. She's soon to be married. Well, that's all I can tell you," Zen said, then started his breakfast activity.

"Haven't you let her marry someone else yet?" Daisy asked.

Zen didn't answer Daisy's question. He was deliberately not talking while eating. As soon as Daisy understood, she then followed Zen for breakfast.

At least that answer really didn't lie to her, Zen thought to himself.

"Remember, if you mess around, I can fly a helicopter straight to your campus, Daisy," Zen threatened as he escorted Daisy to her campus. Zen had enough faith in the little voice recorder he had hidden in Daisy's necklace pendant. Of course Daisy didn't know that, especially since Zen gave the necklace to Weiske to give to Daisy. Because if Zen gave it directly, Daisy certainly wouldn't use it.

"Oh, don't be crazy, OK! I can be ashamed if you do something ridiculous like that," cursed Daisy, annoyed.

Zen shrugged his shoulders. "It's up to you, Daisy. I'll do what I have to do."

"OK! OK! That's it, go now! I have to study!" Daisy got out of the car. Her figure has been looked at by several people on campus. Looking at her with curiosity. Especially when Daisy's eyes met the eyes of Reza, her ex-boyfriend. Zen saw that and watched it until Daisy chose the entrance to the hall to her class.

Starting today, Daisy's activities would be the main thing he would listen to.

"Are you sure that's your future husband?" asked Ama, Daisy's best friend.

"Well, you could say so."

"How come you don't seem so excited, do you?"

"Well Ama, the problem is he's super annoying. If I told you how I ended up with him, you wouldn't believe it!"

"Tell me!" Ama looks enthusiastic, while Daisy chooses not to tell the truth. After all, she didn't want to reveal too much of a secret that she shouldn't have revealed.

Ama nudged Daisy to see Reza's arrival into the classroom. Well, the same course causes them to meet in the same class.

"He's become quieter than usual," whispered Ama.

Daisy watched Reza so they looked at each other. Then Daisy looked away first, she was afraid that if she greeted Reza, Zen would know and get angry. She prefers safety over the threat of Zen becoming real.

Class ended and Daisy had to get out of there. She did not expect that behind her Reza was following her. Daisy suddenly became confused until finally Reza took her hand and led her to the corridor which was a bit far and quiet.

Not a word came out of Daisy's mouth. She saw Ama waiting for her and watched them. Daisy's thoughts became unnatural, it was terrible to see Reza becoming more silent and his eyes sharp.

"Hi, how are you?" Reza asked.

The tone of Reza's voice that Daisy knew was never that cold, to say hello and just ask how it was until it had to be like this, made Daisy shudder in horror. Even though Reza is his first ex-boyfriend. But the good impression that Reza gave all this time suddenly disappeared.

"Fine. What's wrong, Reza?"

"You ... are you happy with your new boyfriend?" Reza asked.

Don't know what to answer. Daisy still doesn't understand her feelings right now. Sometimes she's happy with Zen, but it's also annoying when his rude attitude comes out. Daisy was still confused.

"Yes, I'm happy. What's going on?" Finally Daisy chose to answer that she was happy. Surely it would be even more dangerous if she answered unhappy with Reza.

Reza's face looks angry, but he seems to be holding it in. Then Reza just looked away and left Daisy. Daisy could even see Reza's hands clenched into fists and it made her cringe.

Daisy's cell phone rings. Zen's name was shown up there. Daisy answered. "Yes?" Daisy watched Reza's departure until the second she answered Zen's call, Reza stopped without looking at her.

"OM, I'll be out in a minute," Daisy said as she hung up.

Daisy finally quickened her pace ahead of Reza who was still standing still. Suddenly she became afraid of Reza's unusual gaze. Until Daisy got to Zen's car, before getting in, she looked at the place where Reza was still looking at her.

Daisy's breath hitched as she got into the car. Her face was a little pale, making Zen finally glanced at Reza. He'd heard it all, now … it was only Zen taking care of her.
