Chapter 25 - Fitting The Dress

"I'm pregnant? No … no way!" Daisy was shocked when she found out she was pregnant. She looked so unprepared for her pregnancy that she had absolutely no idea. Zen himself was a little confused when he told this. Even Zen was more surprised by Daisy's response.

"Daisy, we have to get married soon," said Zen later.

"No! Zen, I'm still in college! I ... I don't want to get pregnant! No, I can't!" This time Daisy's voice was more hysterical. She was crying and tugging at her hair in frustration.

Zen stopped Daisy's action while pressing the button to call the nurse or doctor who was available next to the patient's bed. Soon the doctor and nurse came and asked what happened, after Zen said what had happened they immediately followed up with Daisy by sedating her to calm her down and fall asleep.

Seeing Daisy limp from the anesthesia made Zen even more frustrated. Pregnancy was not what Daisy wanted at this time. It was much different when he was with Kanya, who wanted children more than living with Zen.

"Please take care of her, don't let her out or anything. If something happens, you know what to do," Zen ordered his men.

"OK, Boss."

Zen immediately went to Weiske's house and would only go to his house after that.

Weiske is shocked and cries hearing the news about Daisy. She was as shocked as Daisy's pregnancy. Not really blaming Zen for knowing Zen must be responsible. But what surprised Weiske, even more, was Daisy's rejection response to an unwanted pregnancy.

"We'll find a way to get her to accept the pregnancy, Zen. I'll persuade her," Weiske said softly.

"Thank you, Weiske. I owe you a lot," said Zen.

"I'm going to the hospital myself, you'd better call your Mom first, Zen."

Zen gave a full nod and he immediately kissed Weiske's hand to head for Neva's house.

Neva and Weiske as well as Zen gathered in Daisy's room in the hospital. Waiting for Daisy to come to her senses while watching her silently. Everyone is involved in their own thoughts.

Daisy's moans set everything in motion. Zen was the one who rushed to Daisy's side. Meanwhile, Daisy was still drooping limply by blinking her eyes repeatedly. After that, her eyes let out tears that fell in both corners of her eyes. She looked at Zen with a frown.

"I … don't want to get pregnant, Zen. I'm… not ready yet," she sobbed.

He doesn't know what he should do. He couldn't be angry at Daisy's refusal at a time like this. Zen just stared at Weiske and Neva, gesturing for them to come closer, while Zen stood up and kissed Daisy's forehead then left them outside.

Zen waited outside. He was busy with his thoughts, looking for a way out then he remembered the office. He checked his phone because he hadn't touched it.

"Hello Ita, please cancel the meeting that is not very important. You filter the very important and schedule for today and the place," Zen ordered.

"OK, Sir. Aren't you going to the office?"

"No, Daisy is sick. She's in the hospital right now, so please try to arrange a meeting in an area near the hospital."

"Ah, yes Sir. What's wrong with Daisy, Sir?" asked Ita.

Zen knows that now Ita and Daisy are friends. So Zen also told about Daisy and asked Ita for help to persuade her like Neva and Weiske were doing.

"Maybe after work, I'll be there, Sir."

"OK. Thank you, Ita."

After a few days in the hospital, Daisy became quieter. She didn't think she would get pregnant at this age. It's not that she doesn't want the fetus, but that she can't get pregnant while she hasn't finished college. Indeed, the college doesn't care about someone's pregnancy, but her pregnancy is a disaster for Daisy.

"How does Zen respond? Is he happy with my pregnancy? Does my pregnancy remind him of his ex-girlfriend?" Daisy asked as she looked in the mirror to look at herself.

"Daisy ..." Zen called opening the door to Daisy's room. Daisy didn't turn her head, but she looked at Zen from the mirror in front of her.

"Hmm?" The only mutter she gave Zen.

"Come on, we have to find wedding costumes," said Zen who was much colder.

"I'll get ready first."

Zen just nodded and closed Daisy's door again. In the end, Daisy did accept Zen's offer to get married soon. Moving the class schedule online so Daisy can concentrate more on her pregnancy. Weiske, Neva, and Ita's persuasion make Daisy lose her argument.

While on the way to the boutique, only now did Daisy feel nauseous. She questioned herself why when she got pregnant, she didn't feel anything. Only stress and then fainting that shows that she is pregnant.

"Open the car window, Zen. I'm so sick," Daisy asked. Zen immediately opened his car window and looked at Daisy now and then seriously and a little worried.

During this time Zen did not know how Kanya's pregnancy proceeded. But now, he saw for himself. "You want some candy? I have mints," Zen offered. Daisy nodded and Zen told Daisy to open the dashboard to get it herself.

"Does pregnancy feel like this?" Daisy asked someone. Because her eyes looked out.

"I don't know," Zen answered. Daisy immediately turned to Zen who was still focused on the steering wheel. She looked at Zen whether it was a lie or not. Because according to Daisy, Zen has a child from his ex-girlfriend, she thought Zen knew what pregnancy was like.

"You don't know?" Daisy asked with a deep look.

"Do I look like I know, Daisy?" Zen asked back. Daisy immediately averted her gaze. Zen doesn't know, Daisy thought to herself. Her curiosity was heightened because of that. How could Zen not know? Daisy wanted to ask, but Zen didn't reveal the secret. Daisy had to swallow her curiosity with difficulty.

Arriving at the boutique, Zen and Daisy were picking out wedding dresses and wedding suits. Daisy was flabbergasted as this was her first time entering a bridal boutique. Back then she could only imagine what dress she would wear. Now, a line of dresses, as well as mannequins wearing elegant dresses, were displayed before his eyes.

"Choose what you want, Daisy," Zen said.

"I think all this is too expensive, Zen," Daisy replied.

"Just take your pick. Price doesn't matter to me."

The saleswoman accompanies Daisy to choose a dress. Now and then Daisy asks the saleswoman's income which one suits her, or Daisy asks according to her picture, at least close to the picture she has been thinking about.

After a long time of choosing, finally, Daisy was interested in a milky white wedding dress where the dress dangled long and beautifully. A-Line shaped dresses this elegant dress prints Daisy's slender body with a bareback, making her look even sexier. Daisy likes it.

"I want this one," she told the saleswoman after Daisy tried it and looked at herself in the mirror.

"OK, Ma'am. We'll process it."

Zen looked at Daisy in amazement. He didn't even blink. Daisy knew she was being watched by Zen, but she let it be.

"Why should you expose your back more, Daisy?" asked Zen after a few minutes of astonishment.

Daisy didn't look at Zen, but she was still watching herself in the mirror with her prospective dress. "Why is it? Now and then I want to look sexy and elegant, Zen. Especially when it's about marriage. So I beg you, don't stop me from doing this. This marriage is only once in a lifetime."
