Immunity to it

The otherwise sleepy rear garden of the castle suddenly sprung into life as Princess Hwa appeared in a flash of blue light.

There was only one guard on duty not too far away and he only threw a cursory glance in her direction before closing his eyes again.

Princess Hwa made her way inside, hands respectfully clasped in front of her waist as she passed by some servants who immediately distanced themselves from her, bowing their heads from afar.

She strode over to the main hall which was brimming with the sounds of life. Music, dancing, people laughing, and chatting away as the feast continued.

She peeked in through the window like a mouse while talking to herself.

"Looks fun," her eyes jumped from person to person- from couple to couple in envy, "I don't see Yuki Unni or Xuegang Oppa..."

"They could not make it," a voice replied from the back.

Princess Hwa didn't even need to see who it was, nor was she surprised by its presence.
