Red Cold Surprise 1

Teacher: Students today I have a surprise.

Student 1: And what is that Miss Belladonna.

Teacher: Take a guess.

Student 2: A dungeon. Right?

Teacher: Correct. Tomorrow we are going to a dungeon. Please prepare your equipment.

Pansy: Hey.  Excel are you excited?

Excel: I don't care. It's just annoying like any normal day. Sigh

Student: Mam. What is the dungeon's rank?

Teacher: It's a rank E. We will be accompanied by class 1-B

Student: That means. Misaki will be there too. Man, I am excited.

Student: Yeah man. I will show her my awesome magic.

Next-Day: In Front Of School Gate

Everyone had already lined up. Excel made it on time he brought his dagger and hoodie if required. The other students bought equipment like staff,  armor swords, etc.

Gray was accompanying their group. He was a student council member. They both sat together. And accidentally Gray removed his shirt.

Excel got so tired from the behavior that he gave up and never tells him that he took off his shirt.

The girls were shouting like crazy. Gray had a nice body so it could be understandable. But the boys were not happy. One boy tried to strip as well but the teacher stopped him and told Gray to wear his shirt back.

But instead, he wore a black overcoat but it still revealed his abs making the girls go crazy.

They reached the dungeon portal. It was blue meaning an E rank.

The students got down off the bus and after 5 minutes of looking here and there. The teacher lined them up. Gray was standing next to the teachers, to help them arrange the students in line to enter the dungeon.

Teachers: OK. We have reached the dungeon. Listen very carefully. Although this is an E rank dungeon, don't leave the group. We will have a healing mage on standby.

Teacher: You will hunt the monsters. To gain experience. Nothing more nothing else. Is that clear?

Students:/Yes sir

Everyone was excited. You could see the excitement on their faces. But as soon as they entered something horrible happened. The area was cold. Everyone was shivering.

The teachers were confused.

Teacher: It was supposed to be a cavern but snowy weather. Don't tell me...

Teacher 2:  A red gate

The instructor behind the gate saw the gate of the color change to red. Red gates were different than other gates. Red gates could be compared to an A rank dungeon. The students were now terrified. Although,  it was cold Excel so he took out his hoodie because now it was more useful than he usually expected. But he didn't need it as he was continuously forming heat vectors to keep himself warm.

The fire mages were fine but the others were ready to die with hypothermia. But Gray with his magic made them immune to cold.

Teacher: Students don't worry we will be fine. We have two Level 5s. Gray and the teachers will protect you. All we have to do find this place's dungeon boos. So please remain calm. Freaking out will make matters worse.

Gray went near Excel.

Gray: Do you have a plan?

Excel: Nope. We all are about to die.

Gray: Don't joke around. It will be bad for the other students as it will leave a deep scar on their hearts.

Excel Hah. If they will die then what is the use of that scar. They should learn the way of life.

Gray : (serious) Sorry to ask this. But please save everyone

Excel: Whatever. I will try my best. I already have a disguise.

Gray: Thanks.

Gray leaves Excel and regroups with the teacher. They started walking aimlessly.

After a while,  some polar bears showed up. The teachers defeated them. But Excel noticed something weird. Polar bears don't hunt in groups. And they having a leader was moreover weird.

While no one was looking, Excel made some of the bears, his soldiers, it was a pretty quick action, and no one noticed it.

They were solitary creatures. Excel thought someone was manipulating them and that whoever the boss is, will be hard to deal with.

The students came across a forest. And inside they found an open area.

Teacher: Students listen carefully. We will camp in this area. But I want your help. I need your help. First, anyone who can cut trees please make a line.

A line was formed. Excel went on with Gray.

Teacher: Next, I would like the fire mages to melt the ice to make clean drinking water. I would like the plant mages to grow some food.

Excel and Gray went into the woods.

Excel: Oi Gray. Did you find those bears weird?

Gray: What do you mean?

Excel: They were in groups. But bears do not hunt in groups.

Gray: You mean. Someone is controlling them. The boss will be far more dangerous.

Excel: Correct.

Gray: So,  will you hunt them down.

Excel: No. I want them to come and look for us. I don't want to walk aimlessly in this wilderness.

Gray: You are right.

After an hour, everyone had done their work. Logs were cut, food was made and water was poured into buckets which were made by iron mages. A teacher used his magic to create a shelter.

Gray used his ice to create spiky barriers around the perimeter of the camp.

Earth mages created holes outside the barrier as traps to capture incoming monsters.

That night, everyone ate the meat of the bears that they killed earlier. It was good that they didn't notice the small number of missing bears.

The next morning teachers with telepathy magic went to patrol the area. They took the telepathy mage to communicate. The day passes by. The students were doing the same work as the day before.

The group of teachers found nothing in their expedition. It was about to get dark. Gray increased the strength of the ice spikes around the camp. The size of the shelter was also increased and more food and water were created.

Although, they were terrified they did their work. But still, they were scared. Red Gates doesn't close until you defeat the boss and the teacher feared that they would not be able to kill it.

It was night. The students went to sleep. But when the sky turned orange all the students woke up due to a huge amount of Magic Power. It was so powerful that some students started to vomit. Excel knew something bad, something horrible was coming.
