Chapter 4- Special Quest 

" Just how far is your village Cele ... " Said variys as they kept walking in the deep forest

" Just a little bit more ahead variys sama "

" You Say That , but we have been walking for days and we don't have much food left . "

" I'm sorry variys kun , i made you Come along with me to show my gratitude , I just can't thank you enough , so i will make sure to reward you as soon as we get to our village . " said Naomi while giving him a look on the Shoulders .

" I don't Care about rewards .. just make sure That there is food , I'm famished " he said

" Ara ara . I have never meet an apathetic man like you before . "

Soon enough they made it to through & variys was shocked as he never saw an elf town before . they walked over a river that separated the village from the other side of the forest using a huge built wooden bridge , on the other side the only thing that grabbed variys attention were the huge hundred feet tall trees , and the houses that were built on top of them , it was hard for him to keep his jaw closed since he could only imagine what would it looks like , yet now Variys is totally amazed by this scene before him .

'' I can't believe it , it's like a whole town inside a forest !! '' he said

" yeah . We elves don't live the same way you do variys sama . Some of us prefer to live in the wild . " said Celestine

variys still looking upwards decides to take a good view so he steps forward until suddenly a huge spear Comes their way striking into the ground few just steps Closer to his boot .

" Huh .... What's the meaning of this ... " he said in a cold manner looking forward only to be greeted by elves with weapons . Spear , daggers , bows & arrows all facing towards him .

" What's your business here , demon . " one of the elves shouts at him . " Huh ... " scorned variys giving him a cold look & the tension surged up but is quickly broken down afterwards .

" Naomi ..... Celestine .... " An elf woman Shouts as she runs towards them . She is a blond elf in her 30s wearing a long white dress .

The elves with the weapons don't know what's happening anymore . but The Woman still passes them & runs to the girls followed by a hug .

" Thank God you're ok i thought i Lost you both "

They both hug her back and shed small tears while calling her " mother "

They have a moment together and Naomi tells her That her sister came to save her alongside with this man and the girl

" I See " She turns back to the elves and tells them To lower their weapons .

They hesitate at the beginning but then she Shouts .

" You dare disobey your Queen "

" QUEEN " said both variys and cana in shock .

Naomi tell them That This is correct , their mother is Nemesis Silva , Queen of the elf in this village

" Woooah !!! Wait so this means !! ... " both variys and cana look back at Celestine

" Yes my sister is the 2nd princesses of the elf's " said Naomi

Celestine turns to them with a smile and winks " yoho "

Cana and variys seems surprised & relief but as soon as they got comfortable another deep voice is heard saying . " What's the fuss about ... "

A huge muscular elf man with scars on his face appears and walks towards them, he seems to have an injury in his right leg since he was walking on wooden crutch . yet The whole elf crowd spread and paved the way for him .

" Ooooh ... Damar sama .. " said the one who attack variys as he turned to him

" Darling Come see who came to the village " Shouts Nemesis

' let me guess This must be .... ' thinks variys to Himself

And before him stand King Of the Elf's " Damar R Crystal "

" Don't worry he won't bite but he would punch " Whisper Naomi to variys while laughing faintly making him a bit nervous.

The elf King can't believe his eyes as he approach and see his daughters . he goes and hug Naomi

" thank God your safe... But how "

" It's all thanks to Cele . Father . "

He looks at Celestine and she looks at him then she looks down , she knows he's angry with her . But as she does That he gives her a Big hug then stares at her while grabbing her shoulders .

" Whatever problems we have , whatever are the obstacles are , we Can Always talk them out , Like family . Promise me you will never run Again . Promise me!"

" I promise you ... Father " she said as she starts tearing up .

Variys looks back At Cana wondering what this could mean , did something happened between Celestine & her father , could this be the related to why she was so uptight to talk about her family back in the forest , they were nothing less than curious to ask but couldn't interfere with this family reunion so they decide to let them continue to have their moment .

Later That Day the King had a speech . Which he shows his gratitude and thanks to variys , cana & Celestine for saving his daughter . And That they need to have a feast to thank them properly . And so they do .there was dancing , drinking and partying all Day long . Variys was a bit unsocial at first since he is not used to crowded celebrations but the elf Queen asked him to loosen up . He is amongst Friends and no one will bother them in here . And so they continued with the party till midnight . after that elf king insisted that he have some rest and stay the night . he offered that variys should go to their giant bath to loosen up his muscles , it said that it has a great magic attribute & could heal his body from tiredness .

Soon after variys somehow found himself in an awkward situation

' This is a men bathtub right ... They Have different bathtubs for men and woman in this village I'm sure about That .... I didn't make mistake .. I'm pretty sure That they told me That This a men bathtub then ....' variys thinks to Himself . as behind him sat Naomi wearing nothing but a towel with her chest almost rubbing against his back….

' … Then Why the Hell is she here !!! ' he shouts in his thoughts

suddenly she gets even closer until he could feel her warm breath against his hair & her aroma can't be ignored .

" why.... Wh... What.... What are you doing here Naomi san "

"Well what do you Think variys kun . I did promise you That i would reward you didn't I ??? "

" After you fought the traders I'm pretty sure you got dirty ....So i thought i should wash your back for you . "

As she start washing his back she washes his back with a sponge while s sitting on a wooden bench He turned more uncomfortable & nervous . the more time she takes washing him the steamer the room got . It got so hot they both started sweating more until their Body temperature reached the roof …

" huh ,Because she's the one That summoned me ...Plus she didn't have me any choice , in her own words 'you are going to help me , whether you Like it or not' "

" W... Wait .... Please wait .... That's not fair ... I didn't mean to ... " He said as fear goes through his body knowing what will happen next . And all what Could be Heard in that bathtub was

" You damn pervert !! " said the girls as the sound of someone getting Beaten up Could be Heard from outside the bathtub . followed by Naomi's voice echoing " Ara ara .... What a poor man "

Later That night . Variys is in His room with a face full of bruises .

" Aaaah That really hurt dammit ... But ... in a way it was kinda worth it .... "

he said to himself remembering the moment he touched Naomi's chest , but His degenerate train of thought is cut short by the sudden knocking on the door

" Come on in " he said standing up as Celestine opened up the door slowly while entering the room freaking him out

She sad while sitting on his bed and he sits right next to her . He took notice of her face expression, something is clearly bothering her .

'' I thought that it would be rude to bring it up , but yes I did notice that you felt down about the subject , why is that t? if I may ask '' " it's because , ever I was a kid , & being the king's daughter , my fate always seemed sealed , I always was supposed to dress in a certain way , act in a certain manner & more importantly , be with a certain person ..'' "that's right , few weeks ago I was supposed to meet this rich arrogant prince , I had no idea that this meeting was set by my father in order to contemplate a future marriage for the sake of our people , even thou I made it clearly that I don't want to be involve in a political marriage , even so , my father tried to pressure me to do so… '' '' so … what happened ?? " hahahaha , this is awkward …..anyway , I talked to my father about the marriage and he said That i Could marry whoever i chose , he also told me That he love me and he knows That whoever I'm choosing as my soul mate, he will accept him and welcome it with open arms "

"By the way variys sama...What are you planning to do now ?"

I will find a castle and wait for Heroes to Come for me . Don't worry i will make sure to kick their asses hahahahaha "

" Huh ..." He looks at her and notices That she looks extremely sad as tears are about to come down ... He glance at her for a moment then replying with a smile

He stands up and looks down to her stating . "A Great Demon Lord Will Always need his servants by his side . I have seen what you can do & I might need your magic in the future , so , how does this sound will you Come with me ... Will you be my subordinate "

" Celestine R Crystal . I Variys . Ask You To Join. I wish to use your Skills "

" But Come Where ...." She asked

" Who knows .... Who Cares ... I'm planning on taking over this world of yours Join Me Cele !! " as he said that She smiles and tears of joy start coming out .

" So What's your answer " he said as he reaches out to her & she reaches back by holding his hand with a smile saying " Well, of course it would be yes … Take me with you variys sama"

suddenly the door Gets slammed open .

" Me too " Cana shouts " I want to Come with you variys sama "

Celestine is surprised , was this bunny girl ear dropping the whole conversation but variys just end up laughing it off , replying with arrogantly with

" hahahaha , Why the Hell not ... You never know when you need a navigator That knows every road on the Map . you shall be my campus "

Cana also Gets emotional as she jumps to cuddle him . all three falls into the bed and both girls start clinging into him

" Hey .... Nooo.... get off me.... Fine i get it .... What if someone walks in ... "

" Ara ara ... It seems like you are having fun without me ... " They all look to see Naomi standing at the door smiling ..

" I came to see if you're okay variys Kun... but it seems you are doing more than fine " she said And as he tries to get up explaining the situation Naomi also jump carelessly to his arms to all of them pinning him to the bed

He Shouts " don't good night me . this is my room go to your bed ... Hey are you listening ? ...Hey... This isn't the jungle ... You have your own rooms .... Heeeeeeey .... !!! " he shouts as they all went to sleep together in one bed .

Tomorrow morning Variys wakes up to see all 3 girls laying dawn on him thinking . " damn it , did I really just fell asleep with 3 girls in my bed …."

As he's trying to get up he hears noises outside his room , kind of like a crowd gathering ,out of curiosity he heads outside to see people in the village rallying up . ' i Wonder What's going on over there ' he thinks to Himself as he goes to Check out the fuss .

He reach there and ask an elf What's going on . The elf tells him to look up . & so he does only to see a giant tree That seem to have died . All her leafs began to fall & turn black after touching the ground .

" Variys sama ... " Shouts Cele as she Gets next to him ...

" This is ... !!"

" What's the meaning of this Cele ? "

" It means That the forest is suffering " said King Damar as he approaches variys

" forest … suffering ?! "

" Yeah ,this village is in the middle of the forest .Which is controlled by The Great Heavenly Tree , the source of our Magic "

He said while patting the almost dying tree with his Head bowed down in grief .

" The Great tree is calling us ,She is in pain ,... "

" Can you hear what she's saying ?" asked Cana

He puts both of his hand on the tree focusing on its surroundings .

" yeah ... It's fainting but .... Huh… That's Impossible!! "

" What's going on " asked variys

"It has been attacked "

" Attacked by who ?" Said Celestine

" Demons ... There is a lot of them ... Probably hundreds "

"Demons!!" '' they never attacked us here before ''

" what are they doing here " asked an elf woman & An angry elf man walks forward

" They probably are with him . He brought them To kill us all "

The whole town people start staring at variys And Whispering at each other .

Naomi Steps forward " How dare you insult the man who saved my life and my sister's... I have seen this man fight for me before and he would never do such a thing "

" Yeas That's right variys sama is a good Guy " said Celestine as she Steps forward to defend variys .

' Please don't Say I am a good Guy ... I'm a demon lord you know ... this could destroy my reputation ' he thinks to Himself hysterically .

" My daughters are right we should show some respect for the man who Helped us ." said the king making the elves stand down with their allegations

" I am terribly sorry for my people's action " he said bowing his head

" King sama "

" Damar sama what are you doing "

" King sama That's ... "

Variys Gets nervous and ask the King to stop bowing down to him , he didn't feel offended or anything he totally understand , The king then stands up and ask variys for his Help with the demons, he has some strong warriors in here but there are way too many demons

Variys thinks about it for a moment turn and see the tree looking like it's having her last breath .then turn to the elf King replying simply with

" No !! "

Everyone are in shock even Celestine and Cana who just witnessed variys at his highest evil-like act . The King is speeches

" But.... But .... But you saved my daughters so why ..! "

" I did do , That but don't miss understand , I am not a hero , I can't go out my way to rescue some forest tree with nothing in return. I'm a demon lord so if i Help you it would be at a Price ... "

"a Price ? "

" yeah ...5000 coins that's my price to kick the demons out , & you don't have to send your men either , I will clean that trash myself "

The elf King muted for moment only to burst out laughing afterwards " Ahahahahahahah " People are all shocked in disbelief to see the elf King laughing After what variys just said .

" anything not to be the hero …. Huh " said damar And variys follows it with a smirk .

Celestine doesn't seem Understand the situation & neither does Cana .

" What just happen !?" she said & Naomi makes a cute laugh explaining to her That variys is a Demon Lord so if he just started helping people like a good person , it would hurt his reputation & he would lose The Title he goes by .

after that statement both of Celestine & Cana stares at variys in admiration . they just realized one more thing about Variys …. He's different .

Later That Morning they all Head out to the " Great Heavenly tree " It's in the middle of the forest , not That far away from the village .and is surrounded by really huge tall treeswhich served as a great cover for them .

Cana , Naomi , Celestine and variys have all arrived to the location of the demons . as they are standing on the tree branches on top . variys looks down to see the demons attacking the trees and laughing . They demons he saw don't look That scary they are just small creatures with red eyes and small Horns striking out of their Head with sharp teeth's and ripped cloths . they look more like goblins than actual demons

" they look scary ... and they are so many of them" Said Celestine .

" Yeah but don't worry they are weak . i Can barely since any Magic power coming from them " said variys

" How are we supposed to take them down "

" There is a lot of them so if we used the element of surprise … " he looks at his side to take a look at the Sword that is attached to him . The Sword That Damar gave it to him since he decided to Help them & he remembers a conversation that happened earlier between the two of them

" I used to fight with this Sword back in my War days ... But now I'm just an old man with a broken leg and I'm getting tired . So i shall entrust this with you . Make sure you protect this village with all you got . Demon Lord " That's what he said to him .

As he is thinking That . His Focus gets interrupted by a bright light coming from across the tree faced to him , it was the reflection of an arrow getting ready to be shot by a young elf .

" what is that guy doing , I asked to come alone …. don't ... " he Shouts with a low Voice But the elf doesn't listen he just makes the shot and kills one of the demons.

The elf smiles thinking that he actually made a change but forget That there were a lot more , because soon after another demon noticed him & throws his weapon at the elf. dodging the weapon the elf trips and falls over the Big tree shouting while getting hit by the branches along the way breaking his fall , He hit the ground injuring his foot and looks forward to see hundreds of demons looking at him with drool on their mouth as if he was their breakfast .

" No... Wait ... Please ...I'm begging you ... Somebody Help me !!! " He Shouts .

and as the demons are walking towards him ,a huge explosion bursts right in the middle were they were standing , sending some of them flying knocking them out.

The elf looks to see variys Naomi and cana standing before him , protecting him, Then he notice a green shining light . it was none other than Celestine doing a healing spell to fix his broken leg.

" Don't worry , i will Help you " she tells him

" how are we supposed to take them all out Celestine sama " he asked her

" Don't worry about it ... They will take Care if it "

" They ... !! " He looks Again to see all 3 of them with Swords fighting every single demon and taking them down ..

" you have to put your trust in variys sama ... He might look like a demon lord but he will not abandon those who are in need of Help " she said to him

as the team is fighting the demons , just keep slashing and taking down every one they see . Cana turns to variys stating

" Variys sama they just keep coming , at this rate ... "

" Yeah i know ... " Said variys trying to think about a way to end this battle faster , if only there way a way , if only there was a special strong spell… just at that moment he remembered the piece of paper that was given to him by the guild & he shouts

" Cana , Naomi san , stand behind me ! .."

" Huh ... Why ... " Naomi asks

" Just Do it , trust me !! .."

' i have been wanting to try this for a while now " he thinks to Himself . he Then Shouts .

" Cele hold on tight !! "

" Heeh ... Why ... "

soon after they all got ready , His face expression changed as he made a black Magic circle appear just by waving his hand forward , and as the demons are all charging at him , he looks at them with an Evil look on his face saying " Get the Fuck off my sight ...

" BLACK HOLE !! "

By Chanting that the Magic circle turned into what looked like a space vacuum & started sucking everything Demons, weapons That were on the ground . even small plants . Cele managed to hold on a giant tree & the elf at the last minute and did her best not to let go . Naomi and Cana are also just as surprised " this is Special Magic ... It's a really rare spell and not many people can use it " said Naomi . meanwhile variys doesn't talk instead he is totally focused on the spell as it clearly takes a lot of Magic energy to perform .

The Hole just kept sucking everything inside until all the demons have disappeared . the Magic circle also faded away right afterword's . Celestine opens her eye and is in shock . just moment ago there was hundreds of demons, now there are only 5 people on the ground

" That's .... Amazing " she said

" Variys sama, Where did the demons went ? " asked him Cana .

" Who knows ... That's the thing about black holes hahahaha "

he said laughing only to drop on his knees

" damn . It seems That This spell takes a lot of Magic power "

as he said That he notice a blue shining aura on his body . he turn to see Naomi next to him doing a n incantation .

" My Magic energy ... I Can feel it coming back !! "

She whispers in His ears as she makes a cute laugh

" I told you , you would need my Help " He smiles back in relief & reply '' yeah . thank you "

Later That Day variys goes back to the village to find out That the tree is getting back to normal , the leafs aren't falling off and the elf king state That is if he was a hero he would thank him, but since he's not he would rather pay him . variys laughs it off .

" Yeah that would be much better "

After That Naomi asks variys

" what are you gonna do now , variys kun "

he tells her That he's planning on finding a castle . Since he's a demon lord he doesn't plan on staying in a hotel room for ever . he should probably Take on other quests to make more Money "

" ara ara , a Castle you say , Well then i Guess I'm gonna have to Come with you"

" Not happening "

"Why not ? "

" Because …".

" You know if it wasn't for me you would be dead now ... "

"Huh !? How did you Come to this conclusion "

" Because i restored your Magic power .."

" Well that's ... "

" Besides you can't live in a castle on your own .... "

She leans to him and Whisper

" you might get lonely in the night ... When you do , i can be there by your side .. '

this phrase alone was enough to make him uncomfortable as his face turned red.

" W....w...what are you saying .... That's ... !! "

She laughs in an erotic way " Then it's decided "

" eeeeeeh , so she's coming along tssshk " said Cana while giving Naomi a weird look which lead to her pulling cana's from the Cheeks

Aside from their little Gather up , The queen slowly approaches the king . " are you okay with letting them go with him ?? " she said with a smile .

" no father want to see his daughters leave his house . But … I can feel dark forces raising and ready to take action . today hundreds of demons showed up, tomorrow they could be more , He might not look like it but he is the hero who will save this world from the dark forces .

He will need all the help he could get . Plus I trust that my Naomi and Celestine will Be a great help for him "

" if he Heard you calling him a hero … "

" Yeah I know , please don't tell him I said that !! " he stated as they both started laughing . meanwhile Celestine get Closer to variys ..

" It seems like it would be a long ride to nozomu town variys sama .. "

He lets a heavy breath out and smiles

" That's what it looks like ..."

And Just Like that variys & the girls leave to the nozomu to take on more quests & look for a castle fitting to a demon lord . yet unbeknown to him , another force not to be reckon with is after him , that force is shaped in a golden armored knight , who somehow manage to trace down variys tracks & is now inside the forest lurking for him .
