Back to the Village!

Hello you all. I would like to clarify a few things misunderstood by some of the readers.

Firstly, the sisters being taken away. Goblin Village is a closed community with only a bunch of households and the area it covers is not large at all. Even when the goblin girl wanted to have a night with Desmond, she brought him to the underground. That is why Desmond didn't mind their absence.

Secondly, I know the story is a little fast-paced. But I didn't want to bore readers with endless info-dumps and instead created a small encounter in the forest to marinate the story before the real thing starts in the city. The world build and power system will be explained there.

Lastly, Desmond, Main Character will grow up with the story, and he is not a sims character, he learns new things and he is getting adapted to the new world. So, starting from the next couple of chapters, you will start to see his character. But no worries, he is not an uptight character, and I believe you will like him.

Also, please review the story and comment!

After I returned to the village, it was already night time. Ylva, the Wolf Girl, I brought with me, aroused some questions in the village. But I slide over them with lies such as she is a classmate lost her way and luckily I found her. My sister understood my intention and backed me up. Before I could even say anything, they took her to their room and helped her with her injuries.

Naturally, the instincts between canines and felines are hard to avoid, but they can ignore them because of a common-like, in this case, me.

After the girls left, I walked to where the chief was. He was in a battle room with other high ranking soldiers. At the corner in the shadow was a male goblin, at least a head taller than the rest of the goblins, sitting. His ferocious eyes were looking at the map in a cool way. His arms were crossed over his chest. He was the strongest warrior of Goblin Village.

[Name: Gizlux

Age: 24

Level: 9

Special Ability: Spear Warrior

Half Orc-Half Goblin with a middle-class element.]

Oh, a half-blood. Spear Warrior element, I heard it before.

Most of the melee fighters would awaken warrior elements. Vary from fist class elements to weapon mastery elements. Mastery elements start with Fighter class and go as Warrior class so on so forth. And awaking a middle-class Spear Warrior Element is can be considered rare.

Weapon Mastery type of elements is also stronger in the early stages. Magical Elements have more variability, but in exchange in the early stages, they are weak. But Mastery types of elements are simplex. Starting from awakening, you learn how to use the element and the weapon with it. The further you level up, the stronger you get with the said weapon. There are more innate skills awakening.

Goblins, Orc, and Trolls are of Titan Race. It may sound confusing. But Titan Race contains not only Giants and other big figured subraces, but also Dwarves and similarly short figured races.

So, Titan Race has two subraces, namely Giants and Dwarves. Giant Race has more subraces, such as Trolls. And Dwarf Race has subraces as well as Goblins.

Because Orc is closer to human standard in size, Gizlux, Half Orc and Half Goblin is a head taller than other Goblins I have seen in the village. And Orcs are better at fighting compared to the Goblins, so with his Orc blood, he was able to awaken the Middle-Class element, making him the best fighter in the village.

"Oh, Desmond. You have arrived." Ac, the chief saw me when I was inspecting Gizlux.

"Yes, I was able to advance in my level. I am confident enough to fight against Troll Kin-" I said without any arrogance, but a cold snort cut my words.

"Is there any problem, friend?" I asked, looking towards Gizlux. He snorted and cut off my speech.

"A brat barely able to walk is confident enough to take on Troll King." He said without changing his posture.

"Be kind to our guest, Gizlux." The Chief was irate. "He stayed back to fight with us."

"With all due respect, chief. But more likely, he stayed to hide behind us." Gizlux said, looking at me, "Have you ever seen a level 10 beast? You are confident enough to take it just by yourself."

I didn't say anything, because there was no need for me to say anything. If it was two days ago, I wouldn't be confident. Maybe I wouldn't be so confident if I haven't fought against Wolf King, but I already killed a 10 Level Beast. Now, I even have another element on top of that.

"I am trying to help the village because of the hospitality we have received since we have arrived. I am not going to turn my back to the village just because a pitiful man can't accept someone younger than him becoming stronger." I said without holding anything back.

"You are courting death!" Gizlux darted with a spear I don't know where it came from. His spear hit my lower abdomen and blood started to drip from the tip of the spear. Gizlux snickered, and hissed, "Is this your confidence? You can't even take a hit from me."

He was expecting scolding of the chief and exclamations of others in the room. But when he turned to look, all he could see were questioning eyes of others. He realized something is not right, but he didn't know what.

"Whom are you speaking to?" came a voice from where he was sitting a few seconds ago. When he turned back to look, he saw me, smiling as if we are the best friends. He turned to look at the figure he pierced with his spear. The figure started to fade and with it, blood on the tip of the spear. Feeling of penetrating a person on his arms also vanished.

Cold sweats poured down from his forehead and he felt a thin line on his neck. It wasn't dripping but there was blood. He didn't feel it at all. "Not seeing is acceptable, but I didn't feel when the cold weapon tore my neck!"

"I respect the people of this village, that is why I will not kill you. But you better watch your words." I said before I rose from my seat. "Chief Ac, I will kill the Troll King, but the rest of the trolls are for you to kill."

"Thank you, young hero," Chief said while I was leaving the room.

I walked towards to girls' room to see if Yvla is any better. They don't have any healing skills, but they must have some potions.
