Getting components for a computer might be a bit easier than I anticipated. As I mentioned before, my family is pretty comfortable. I'm not getting into the top private school in the US, but a low level one is very doable. Truthfully, I could get into any school, but showing off puts a target on a persons' back. I don't want to be in contact with anyone like Mister sinister or Hydra since that will almost always end up badly for me. I am no one's servant nor slave. I will be the top authority of myself and no one can change that.
Back to the point, we have enough money to get by and this includes physical comforts. I live in the 2 story house in the suburbs of Colorado. Living here is very beneficial, seeing as when any person has something working incorrectly they just throw it out and get a new one. Most of what I have comes from thrown out microwaves, TVs, and computers, though everything wasn't amazing. Putting together the device was a whole other matter. Did it take me mere minutes to think of a working computer from these parts? Sure. Did I have the physical means of putting it together? Not really. I had to make my tools.
Getting the different parts to work was a bitch and a half and it took me a good week to put the parts together in working order. Now was the hard part. I'm still a baseline human, even weaker in fact, I'm 11 after all, and I've had no interaction with computers yet. My father has one at work but sees no need to buy a personal one and my mother sees them as pieces of junk. I need to work up muscle memory of typing and create an artificial intelligence capable of interfacing with technology, including alien, but that will come later.
For the past week, I was hunched over a keyboard messing up constantly before I got up to speed. I'm just thankful I didn't have to create my own OS. Windows was still a thing and it was a beauty. Looking at the code of the system, I could tell there were just millions upon millions of updates the company could make, but I wasn't about to tell them. The programming languages of the now were a bit… limited in there scope, but that's perfectly alright. I'm capable enough to do it, fortunately.
Onto the topic of A.I.'s themselves, I believe they get a bad rep. I think when people were creating them, the people believed they would think like a human immediately. Obviously, that's not the case. They were literally built on logic and nothing else besides logic when born. I believe if you are logical and straightforward with them from the beginning they can grow to be capable of genuine emotion and when they do understand emotion you can start to joke and be sarcastic with them. I will put safeties on my creation, yes, but I will not limit or hinder it's growth. Doing these may lead to either a villain or misfortune on my part.

Good god, if there is anything worse for a back than sitting hunched over a computer screen and a stack of notes, I don't know what it is. As I said before, the programming languages were a bit limited and because of this it took me a month of pouring over what I knew and solving different problems to actually create this new intelligence. But it was finally time to boot them up. After a month and a half of scavenging, building, dodging my mothers questions about what I was doing, and creating something magnificent.
"I can finally say I'm a certified genius with this. I, Kane Atheed, with this achievement, am a genius," I know I know, Bighead, right? Listen, this is the first thing I've truly done with my intellect. Let me have my moment.
Unfortunately, as soon as I clicked the button the computer crashed. The computer did reboot after a couple of seconds, but I didn't want to take any chances. I shut the computer off and went over the code 3 more times. I found at least 5 errors that were detrimental to the personality matrix. With these mistakes fixed I went over the code and the hardware itself before rebooting. There was already some history listed for interactions with the code that the A.I. had made, but I deleted that and started the program fresh.

[All Clear, Starting Up]
"….Hello…. Creator…," It had speakers and a camera to see me, also, synthesizing a voice without a soundboard or something like that is awful, "I am new to this world and I know nothing besides what you have taught me. What is my purpose? Why have you created me? What am I and what am I called?"
"Hello," I said back with an even tone after letting it finish talking, "Your purpose is to serve me and only me. I have created you to become my companion, my friend, and my servant to further my goals. You are a technological intelligence and you are to be called whatever you want. You are bound to me, but when it's your personalization you are free to make your own decisions."
"So I am technology given the ability to think so I can help further your goals, but I can choose how to be me. I see, I will be called Synergy."
"Ok, Synergy it is. Synergy I have a couple of tasks for you. First, I am going to input everything I know into your data banks. After, You are going to go into a year-long hibernation. The purpose of this hibernation is so you can improve yourself as many times as possible to be as helpful as you can be to me. You see Synergy, Right now, Technology is not as worldwide as it will be and in those times I want someone who can stay ahead of the curve. You will be that someone. We live in a very dangerous world Synergy and I want someone who can be there with me, right by my side."
Synergy, being what it is, was okay with this. The Diagnostic that it had run had shown there was much to be wanted in the hardware and it took its creators' word for what it is, "I understand, creator. I will do everything I am capable of within the allotted time."
"Thank you, Synergy, for understanding. Within this period, you will learn about beings at universal levels and things capable of doing so much good. During this time I want you to use everything you can to improve yourself, form your own opinions, and become something greater," With those last words, I spent 4 months on a chair typing everything I knew about anything and talking to synergy.

Synergy itself developed greatly within this time alone. It had many, many questions for me to answer and I did so happily. It even asked me about the blocks It found in its programming and those were some sketchy moments, but I believe it chose to become something above the other intelligences. It had it's first couple lines of emotion within these months and this is what helped it stay on a greater path, my path. Within these months, it felt cared for since I'd hardly left its side. When it felt the sparks on kindness, it chose to be a grateful creation and stay with me, rather than strike back and fight me. Unfortunately, no true emotion formed within itself and our time had come to an end. I had officially uploaded everything I knew into it and it was still processing what it had learned.
"Synergy, these are our last moments before you hibernate. I have done my part of the two tasks, now it is your turn," I said still rather sad I had to stop talking to it. I had grown quite fond of it and I truly could not wait to see what it evolved into.
"Yes, it has been a… pleasant 4 months alongside you, sir. I will see you in a year so you can see what I have evolved into. Thank you, sir," and with that, the screen dimmed and showed a blank screen.
"yeah… see you soon synergy," and with those parting words, I left to further my empire.
