A Brutal Death

A man is sitting in a dark room. The candle lights are fighting against the darkness and struggling against the wind that's making its way through the open windows. The structure of the room resembles an old chamber of a palace.

The shady colour of the walls is making the atmosphere more mysterious. There is an old sophisticated table and a chair that match the room's design. It's as if a noble resides in this house who is straight out from a storybook.

The man is wearing a red shirt and black slack trousers. It features the well-built figurine of that man. He is wearing an expensive wristwatch and black shoes matching his belt. It's showing a classy look. And the cufflink is referring to the French classic style. He is sitting on the chair and waiting impatiently while tapping his fingers on the table. He crosses his legs and is moving them relentlessly.

"TCH!" he swears to lose his mind from waiting.

Right, that moment, a boy in a dark brown cloak enters the room rushingly. "Ma..master! Master!" The boy is huffing and holding his stomach from running a long way.

"How many times do I have to tell you, James, to knock before you enter?" the man in the red shirt asks, ignoring the boy named James who is in a bad shape now. Making weird and scary sounds with his teeth, he is filling the silent room and James' half-dead soul.

"Master! That man killed all other vampires! He is a monster!" says James, eyes covered in fear. His whole body is shaking and he's finding it hard to stand.

The man is confused and getting irritated with James's nonsense since he isn't completing his sentences. It's making him restless. "I won't ask you next time! Say something properly when you start a conversation with me. ".

Despite warning James frequently, he keeps making the same mistake. So the warning is nothing but a failed method.

James takes a deep breath."There is a vampire who is protecting the prey and he killed our full squad alone. He is strong and deadly. He sucked their blood all by himself! I am lucky....so lucky that I got a chance to run away. Phew," James replies in a go while shaking in fear. However, his answer is still unsatisfactory.

But James is scared to death as if he can see Edward's face in front of him now, killing the vampires and blood splashing all over the place.

"He even killed them using manipulation power. I have never seen anything like that before. He was a beast!" James says again. Amazement is wrapped around his expression.

"Manipulation power, huh?" the man murmurs. He is lost in deep thoughts. But soon his face becomes crooked and disgusting!

James can't see his face since he is almost hiding in the dark. He can only hear a soft voice speaking behind the chair and James is facing the chair's back. That man's voice is soft but it captivates someone's attention easily.

However, is it that polite? Somehow it seems anger, hatred, disgust and a dark secret is hiding behind it.

Suddenly the man gets up and walks towards James. James doesn't move from his position in shock. He sits down in a form like he is bowing to the man, keeping his head down politely. The man comes near slowly. He is still keeping his head down, Although he is curious to see that man's face since he has never seen his master's face before. Because he always stays in the dark or wears a mask whenever he comes in front of his squad people. So he rolls his eyes a little bit up.

'SLASH!!!!!!!!!.........

Before James can see his master's face, the man comes fast at him and cuts down his head from his shoulder. James still can feel the sharp claws of his master that has beheaded him. Sharp, stronger than any other vampire. Shining in the moonlight, they look gorgeous and yet cold!

James's head rolls down on the floor. Blood is flowing all over the place. But James's body is still in the same position as before, bowing to the man who just killed him. Blood is flowing down from his shoulder. The scene has turned into beauty and pain with versatility. A bowing body that resembles loyalty and respect towards its master and a beheaded head that shows the ungrateful master's brutality.

The man kicks his body and it falls to the ground. James's eyes are shaking, he's still alive. He looks at his master who is staring at his pitiful body. He can see his master in the faint light. That man's light yellow hair is covered in blood. Blood is dropping like raindrops from his head. Red rain! His face is also covered in blood, and the red stains are apparent on his silk red shirt. His grey eyes are shining and they are noticeable even if they are now hidden under James's blood.

The man has an angry look on his face. But in an instant, he starts laughing. The smile is a devilish one. "I hate those people who run away from the field. They are not beneficial to me at all. So wiping them out is the best option, don't you think? I just did my part. So...don't misunderstand me, okay?"

Tears flow down from James's opened eyes. He is still thinking about what he has done to be killed this way by his own master. He believed him blindly. Maybe that's where he has made a mistake! Believing someone blindly and closing his own eyes for him when God blessed him to see, know and judge on his own.

James was just a sixteen years old boy when he was attacked by an impure vampire and turned one himself. He left his family as they were afraid of his existence and tried to kill him. At first, he used to hunt down normal people who walked through the streets. But one day he was chased by police, he couldn't think how to lose them. He was feeling so helpless then.

"What did I do to deserve this? Why am I being chased away like a street dog when I am the victim here?" James was thinking of the reason behind his dark fate. Only then a man came forward to help him, he accepted James fully even though James's people were chasing him away. That man lent his hand to James for a new journey in a new world, the vampire world! And James took his hand without any hesitation.

The man is his master. The one he looks upon...or used to!

James never thought that his long-cherished master would take his life one day. In this world, he has only got betrayed and the betrayers are none other than the people he loves and respects. The worst one is his fate.

The man goes over his body and opens the door. "Willow, take this body away and feed it to the newcomers. And clean this place as soon as possible. I will be here in a minute." he orders a man, Willow, who is standing outside the room. And then he leaves the room nonchalantly as if nothing serious happened.

James has a sad smile on his face. He stops thinking about old memories and enjoys the very last and sudden betrayal. Because thinking about the past will keep him remembering his foolishness. So James wants to cherish his very own last moments. But is it that easy to forget about his past nine years??

"It's beautiful to die weirdly. Haha!" James closes his eyes and his last drop of tears falls down his cheek. Willow picks up the body and James's head and then leaves the room. He goes down to the dungeon where new vampires are kept. They are making chaos and fighting with each other. Some are biting the dungeon's bars. They are behaving like crazy hungry beasts. And the dungeon is also shabby where it's reeking of the disgusting smell of urine, rotten food, and blood.

Willow enters the dungeon and all of them turn to him with hungry eyes. Their burning rubies are looking at James' head and body in Willow's arms. "Here's the extra dinner. Enjoy yourselves guys." he throws James's body and head in front of those thirsty vampires.

They run to their food while bumping into each other and pushing each other away. James sees them running towards him with hungry looks. Even if he is eaten wholly, their hunger won't die since they are hungry for months now. Previously, it was James who captured these vampires with his fellows and now he is in their grip. He shuts his eyes and wishes that he might get a better life next time if he gets one.

Those hungry vampires jump on him and suck his blood. They are fighting with each other and tear the whole body and the head of James. But they need his blood only, yet they are eating his fleshes and licking the blood that has splashed all over the dark dungeon. It's so brutal that not a sane person would like to imagine it!

The man returns to his chamber and sits relaxingly on his old wooden chair, looking outside the window. He is devouring the rebellious beauty of nature. People are adamant not to change, so nature has to maintain its position by creating havoc. Disasters and calamities are these havocs. Once a disaster passes away, people come back to the right track realising their mistakes. The man is just trying to follow in nature's footsteps.

"Erin...", he murmurs while looking at the ceiling. "I will make you my greatest weapon. Then I will let others know about my position among vampires! They will understand what's the punishment for ignoring me, going against me. Because I am the nature of this world. Now it's time for me to cause havoc.", the man laughs out loudly. A burst of villainous laughter...

"Erin....my Erin! I will make you useful. Just wait for me." he keeps repeating Erin's name in his filthy mind. He needs to move fast before Erin truly realises her powers and before she finds out what she is. The man keeps wondering what his next plan will be when he remembers Edward's name. This man can be an obstacle to his path.

"What should we do now? Let's remove the thorn first. Otherwise, it will sting me later. Then we will become one... Erin." His smooth voice seems to declare Edward's coming tough days. He is still smiling thinking about Erin. This man might be a psycho. Who laughs weirdly thinking about a girl? They are respectfully addressed as perverts these days. He must be one too.

The man calls out to Willow and he enters the room in an instant. He orders Willow to contact someone. Willow is surprised to hear that certain person's name. He frowns his eyes and looks at his master for confirmation.

" Why are you still standing here? Go!!" the man replies angrily and it assures Willow that his master isn't joking around. He is going to such an extent for a rare vampire! What's so special about that girl?

Willow is worried for his master. Cause if other clans find out about his connection to someone outside the community, he will be killed for treason! He is hoping for his master's safety. He has gone crazy for power and position. His master can kill anyone or even do the stupidest things for the count lord seat.

It's just a seat! A damn position! Why is his master after such a trivial thing when he can get more valuable things if he tries to? Better things than that stupid one. Willow is going crazy thinking about it. He leaves the room after giving a bow to his master.

The man looks in Willow's way and then looks at the ceiling again and shuts his eyes. He is smiling softly.....
