Rotting Traitor I

Kies saw a few undead in his way but was able to dispose of them easily. They were all strays that had lost their way and were roaming around mindlessly. Many of them didn't even notice that he was there until he attacked them.

As Kies was hurrying through the forest, he saw that there were many bodies all over the place. Most of them were the slow-moving undead that belonged to the Bone Whistler while a few of them looked a bit stronger and faster and likely belonged to the White Witch as he hadn't encountered them before. Kies found one of them on the ground in front of him and kneeled over to take a closer look at it.

Unlike the Bone Whistler's undead, the witch's undead did not have decaying flesh or missing limbs. They were skinny, pale, hairless, and resembled a lot like humans. Kies got up and continued heading towards his destination, defeating around twenty more undead before making it to his goal.

A familiar stench hit Kies as he drew close to his destination. He immediately recognized the smell and looked around until he found a giant undead with four legs. The undead had lost one of his arms and was lying on the dirt which was stained black from the blood oozing from a huge wound on his stomach. To either side of the body laid his big cleavers, one of which had been broken in half.

Kies walked up to the body with his nose pinched and examined the giant. Other than the massive cut through his stomach, there were no other wounds or injuries at all. The cut looked like it was made by a weapon of some sort, a sword or an axe more specifically. It was a clean cut.

To be able to bring down a giant undead like him, Kies had no idea how scary the enemy was. After looking around the area a bit more, Kies found several more bodies spread throughout the place. They all belonged to the witch's fraction. Kies remembered seeing them all before when the battle was just about to begin. All of them looked like they were killed by the same person or thing.

A speeding object flew at Kies and hit him in his left leg. Kies quickly turned his head towards the direction of where the sudden attack came from and saw a shadowy blur as the attacker ran and hid behind a tree. Kies put his arms out and got ready to attack. He felt a strange feeling gnawing at him that something was wrong but he ignored it and started chanting. "Winds, gather, for-"

A blade suddenly sprouted from Kies's stomach. "How very careless of you." Kies tried to turn around and attack the person who just stabbed a blade through his gut but couldn't. The attacker kicked Kies, pulling the weapon out, and then sliced him.

Kies felt a cold blade go down his back, starting from the base of his neck all the way to the very end of his spine. He tumbled over face-first into the first. "One more body for the river of red." Kies recognized the voice and the style of speaking. There was only one person who he knew that spoke like that and it wasn't too long ago that they met.

Kies heard his attacker sheath his weapon and begin to walk away. He pushed himself off the ground and turned to face his assailant. He was wearing black clothes and carrying a sword at his side. There was no mistake.

Kies held out his arm and chanted, "Winds, gather, form, and pierce." A Wind Javelin flew out of Kies's palm and rushed towards the figure in front of him.

The figure drew his blade, turned, and slashed upwards, deflecting the attack. His white mask and sword glowed in the dark as he changed his stance and dashed forward at Kies, not sparing him a word. Lisler slashed his sword down to which Kies countered by slamming his hand onto the floor and letting out a blast of wind, pushing the undead back.

The undead gracefully does a backflip midair and lands on his feet. "So you still live." Lisler points his sword at Kies.

"And you're a traitor," Kies said back.
