"What about our deal?" the White Witch asked the werewolves.
The werewolves shook their heads and one of them grunted, "We already did as we were told. We have no reason to continue helping you." Kies couldn't see the witch, but he was sure that she was greatly troubled right now and was trying to figure something out.
"Forget them, we can handle it ourselves," Ammine suddenly said. Everyone turned to her and she just gave them a 'what?' face. "You said that we don't have time right? Let's just get going already." Ammine was tired of this place. She wanted to get out of it as soon as possible and in order to do that, she needed to complete the mission that was given to her.
Fae looked uncertain and looked to the witch for her decision. "This will have to do then," the White Witch said.
Ammine walked across the water to the rift, all while avoiding eye contact with the witch. She then turned back to Kies, Haro, and Issie, waiting for them to follow. Since there wasn't exactly another choice the three of them followed.
Haro flew over to the rift with Issie and hovered right next to it and the three of them waited for Kies to cross the water to them as well. Kies hurried over to them and when he arrived, the witch stuck her hand out between them and the rift.
"Are you all prepared?" the witch asked them before letting them through. "This is going to be a fierce fight even with how weak the Bone Whistler is," she warned them.
"Yes, we're ready," Ammine answered for all of them.
Despite Ammine's confidence in her answer, the witch continued to keep her arm up and asked, "Are you absolutely sure? There is a very good chance that one or two of you will perish in this fight."
Even upon hearing this, Ammine did not lose confidence and said, "We'll be fine." The only reason why she got injured the first time was that they didn't know how the Bone Whistler fought and what magic he used. Now that they knew, the fight was a lot easier.
As if the witch had read her mind, she told Ammine that, "That wasn't his full strength. He was holding back against you all because he knew that if he exhausted too much of his power, I would come and finish him off."
"But isn't he weak right now?" Ammine pointed out what she said. "We can't wait here all day for that fleabag to wake up. Let us at him already." The werewolves growled at Ammine's insult to their leader but didn't say or do anything more. It looked like she really didn't like the werewolves. Kies didn't know why.
"Hmph. D*mned demon. You continue insulting me even when I'm resting." Everyone's heads turned to Bloodmane who was now sitting up and glaring at Ammine angrily. He pushed himself off the ground and walked strode over to Ammine across the water and stood next to the rift. "What are the rest of you waiting for? Get over here?" Immediately, the werewolves all ran across the water to their leader and stopped behind him.
"Okay, let's get this fight started. I don't want to hear a certain demon badmouthing me anymore," Bloodmane grunted. Without waiting for an answer, Bloodmane walked into the rift followed by the rest of the werewolves.
"Wait!" the witch cried out, but it was already too late. All the werewolves had gone through the rift. The witch sighed and then told the rest of them, "The plan hasn't changed from the last fight. You are to assist the werewolves in fending off the lesser undead while Bloodmane deals with the Bone Whistler. However, this time, be ready to help out Bloodmane as well since the Bone Whistler won't be holding back."
After saying what she needed to say, the White White waved her hand at the rift and urged everyone to quickly go through and follow the werewolves before something bad happened. "One more thing, I will also be joining this fight as well," the witch said.
"Your excellency! You can't, you just fought with him minutes ago! You need time to recover!" Fae shouted out in concern.
"I cannot sit by for this fight. It is far too important," the White Witch told the undead. Before Fae could argue back, the witch said, "We wasted enough time. Every second spent here is a second that the Bone Whistler has to recover itself. Who knows how many souls it has already devoured in this short span of time. All of you, quickly now!"
