Chapter 38: Seth's Return, Part 1

After a quick hug from his mother, Seth gathered a few things and shoved them into a backpack, held tightly to his medallion, then said the word, "Cambria," while his mother looked on.

"I love you ..." Victoria said to her son, blowing him a kiss from across the room.

He mouthed the words, "I love you, too," as the firefly white lights assembled around him, creating a swirling tunnel of bright white light, and the deafening noise of a tempest storm pounded within his ears. Again, he had the sensation of moving without being moved. He viewed images of things that were as they appeared, then faded away just as quickly.
