A broad smile of approval lit Virtra's lips as she listened.

"Go to hell, Dracon," Colin seethed, grasping the bars of his cage.

"You first," Dracon said through the bars, laughing. "Come, Virtra, let us prepare and leave him to his thoughts." Then, he held out his hand and she placed hers atop his and they both instantly vanished into a swirl of red firefly lights.

"Are you well?" the beauty with light brown hair asked Colin, then whispered, "I wish I could let you out, but I do not have the key."

Colin's eyes brightened a bit. "Do you think you could get it?"

"I could try," she replied, thinking.

"Thank you," Colin said. "What is your name?"

"Lynessa," she said with a smile.

Colin looked around, then asked, "Where are we?"

"In the center of the Dark Forest," she whispered. "Near the Great Waterfall."

"Do you not have shelter? Where do you stay?" Colin wondered.
