Chapter 94: I'm All Yours Tonight

Aurora's POV:

I'm sitting in the back of Landon's Lexus, waiting for Landon to come out of the TRW building.

I check the time on my phone; it's five forty-five. We only have fifteen minutes to make it to Thorpe's and Landon is still not coming out of the building.

I consider texting or emailing him, but I know Landon wouldn't be keeping me waiting without good cause. I see him then, coming out the double doors of the TRW building.

Looking him over, I see what the rest of the world sees when they look at him; a powerful, controlled man with a glacier expression on his face. I can't help but wonder what has got him cross but when he grins at me, the thought is completely forgotten. He jumps into the car and pulls me into his arms.

"I've missed you, angel."

His words are softly spoken into my ears. Henry pulls the car out of our parking space and enters into the traffic.

Landon is holding my hand, and he leans over and gives me a quick snog.
