Walker's POV:
I wake up late the next morning but Georgia is still beside me when I do, fast asleep. For the first time since her kidnapping, she slept peacefully all night.
Not wanting to move, I pull my sleeping Lioness closer and close my eyes once more.
The calm doesn't last long though and soon Georgia is wide awake and unwilling to stay in bed for a moment longer. She's not very good at being lazy. If she had her way, we'd write a list of things to do today and then do them all.
She's the only person I know who can make work out of resting.
There's a restless energy coming off her, she's practically buzzing. She doesn't want to wait a moment longer. She wants to get in the car and drive to Surrey to meet Lucy. I know that's what she wants but there's no rush.
"We should go," she says as she pulls her hair back into a ponytail.
"There's no rush," I reply. "What would you like for breakfast?"
"I'm not hungry."
