Artemis ran down to Hestia's house looking for Athena. Hestia stopped rolling out pastry and stood back from the counter. "Let me think," she said. "I don't think she went off with Demeter this morning. Have you tried Hephaestus's workshop?"
"Thanks," Artemis said, and dashed out again. Athena was indeed in the workshop, carefully filling the feeders for the mice. Artemis stopped in mid-stride.
"What are you doing?"
Athena looked up with a smile. "Hi, Artemis. I'm feeding the mice."
Artemis came forward and peered into the cages. All the mice were busy doing things. Some were going round in exercise wheels; some were running round in a complicated maze. In another cage there was an array of what looked like gymnasium equipment.
"What's all this about?"
