╰┈➤ ❝a new world❞
Wooyoung had never seen anything like this. This wasn't possible, right? A human isn't capable of doing magic or weird spells. A human is a human, a mortal, a being capable of dying. He was still trying to figure out how San had been able to heal his would to the extend that Wooyoung wasn't going to drop dead right there. It made him seriously confused.
There was one thing he was sure of: San wasn't human and he was a being capable of magic. It makes sense, right? How else would he be so different from humans?
His purple eyes were not even close to the normal human-like eyes and his hair, oh boy his hair was a different story indeed. He also had some other distinguishable features like his pointy ears and the freckles that decorated his cheeks perfectly. Wooyoung was indeed captivated by the others looks, almost feeling bad of himself because how average he looked compared to San.
But enough of that. He was now standing on top of a small hill that was located in front of a big lake. The only thing that was a little weird, was the surroundings of the lake. Also the pinkish sky and the water that was actually pretty turquoise compared to the normal blue colour water had. He was also pretty sure that he was not on Earth anymore, that he was completely somewhere else. And all of this is because of San.
After daydreaming in San's arms for about 10 minutes, he looked up at the older. "San?" He whispered to the other, who hummed back a response. "Where are we?"
San looked down at Wooyoung, arms still securely around him. "Obviously not on Earth anymore." He laughed, earning a playful punch from Wooyoung who only huffed and looked away. "This is The New World. It doesn't have a name, it just exists." He said with a smile.
Wooyoung looked at San again with a little pout on his lips. "The New World? Sounds like something straight from a pirate movie." He mumbled. "How did we get here?" He asked San with a head tilt.
"I teleported us here." He simply stated, glancing at the turquoise lake. "Simple as that." Wooyoung was obviously more confused now, but ignored his conflicted feelings and stayed quiet for now. He knew that San was capable of magic, no doubt in that, but he had no idea he was able to teleport.
Wooyoung nodded in response, turning his head to look at the sky. It really was pink. He could almost see the yellowish clouds in the sky with some weird things floating around them and the surroundings. This New World San was talking about was a lot to take in and it would probably take him a long time to get adjusted to everything and how everything worked here.
But in the end, he didn't really care about that. All he cared about was that he was now safe and with people he could trust, except he didn't know if he could fully trust Yeosang yet. He tried to keep his mind off all the things Yeosang said and had done to him in the past to forget him, but every word that came out of Yeosang's mouth made him remember all the horrible things he had to go through at school.
San noticed Wooyoung's change of behavior and glanced at him, noticing the small but sad smile on his lips. "Is everything okay, Wooyoung?" He asked carefully, brushing the brown locks out of Wooyoung's face with his fingers.
"I guess..." Wooyoung hummed. San raised an eyebrow at him, examining Wooyoung's somewhat sad expression. Something was obviously on his mind and he wanted to know what it was to make him feel a little better.
"You guess?" San asked with a frown. "Tell me, what's on your mind?" He asked for the second time, this time gaining Wooyoung's attention.
"Can I at least stretch my legs before that?" Wooyoung chuckled, gaining a laugh from San as well. "My legs are cramping." He added.
"Oh yeah, sure." San answered, pulling Wooyoung out of his embrace and putting him down. He saw Wooyoung glancing at Yeosang who was laying on the grass with his eyes closed. It made San wonder, did Wooyoung know Yeosang from somewhere or did he not just like him? "Wooyoung." He voiced.
"Hmm?" Wooyoung looked at San as he stretched his legs. "What is it?"
"Do you know Yeosang from somewhere?" He asked. "Have you guys met before?"
San questions seemed to startle Wooyoung, as he expected. He was now pretty sure that Wooyoung knew Yeosang. The other looked at the ground with a frown, occasionally glancing at Yeosang, staring a hole through his skull.
"I can feel you burning a hole in my skull, Wooyoung." Yeosang yelled, Wooyoung flinching at his loud voice.
"Do you want to talk somewhere more private?" San suggested, gaining a small nod from Wooyoung who only stared back at Yeosang with worry in his eyes. "I'll show you the way then." He smiled. Before leaving with Wooyoung, he turned back to Yeosang who was still laying on the grass. "You'll find us from my ship!" He yelled at him.
"Yeah, yeah." Yeosang yawned. "Whatever."
San clicked his tongue in annoyance because of Yeosang's ill behavior but smiled when he saw Wooyoung waiting for him down the hill. He ran to Wooyoung and grabbed his hand in his, intertwining their fingers together. Wooyoung was a little surprised, but let San do his thing.
San took Wooyoung's other hand as well, surprising the other when he embraced him in a hug. "I deserve a hug from you." He laughed.
"I-" Wooyoung stuttered, a small blush forming on his cheeks. "S- sure.." He pouted, San laughing at his cute behavior.
"I'll teleport us to my ship now, okay?" San pulled away from the hug, still keeping their hands intertwined with each other. "Close your eyes and hold your breath for a few seconds, yeah?" he instructed, Wooyoung doing exactly that, and before long, they both disappeared from the somewhat familiar area.
