Everything was a mess, the crew was running around the deck and fighting against the attackers, San and Jongho fighting on the front lines, Hongjoong right behind them. Surprisingly, the attackers weren't what San was worried about at the moment, for some reason he wasn't worried about them not one bit. All that was on his mind right now was Wooyoung and the sad look he had before he was dragged out of his office by Hongjoong.

That face was playing in his mind on a loop over and over again. He wanted to go comfort him, say sweet nothings into his ear to calm him down because he knew Wooyoung was a nervous wreck. And the fact that Yeosang was with him didn't help his worrying at all.

"San, there are more guys waiting on the ground, should we fight them as well or are we going to wait for them to climb the ship?" Jongho said with a huff, pushing one of the attackers off the edge and running a hand through his sweaty hair. "There's no end to these guys." He exhaled, pushing another guy towards San who knocked him out.

"Let's not leave the ship." San said, dodging the man that tried to hit him in the stomach. "We'll manage." He said, Jongho nodding to him. "Hongjoong! Can you cast a barrier spell around the ship?!" He yelled, breathing heavily as he fought the attackers on the deck.

"I can try!" Hongjoong yelled back, closing his eyes and slapping his hands together, mumbling something to himself. A yellow barrier spread around the ship in a matter of seconds, preventing the rest of the bad men from entering the deck. "There, done." Hongjoong huffed, taking a few deep breaths after casting the somewhat hard spell all by himself.

San was proud of Hongjoong. He was a powerful mage and that's one of the reasons San wanted him on board with him. Hongjoong wasn't like the other first and second class mages, he was much more powerful, maybe even a fourth class magician if not better. He was the perfect long-range mage for San's crew and he wouldn't trade him for anyone.

"Thanks!" San grinned, hitting one of the bad guys and throwing him off the edge too. "Now, should we do something about the rest of those bitches who're trying to break the barrier?" He laughed, walking to Jongho who was watching all the bad men that were trying to break the yellow barrier that was cast around the ship.

"Sure, but let me take a breather first." Jongho laughed, giving San a small high-five. He looked at Hongjoong and gave him a small thumbs-up. "Where's Mingi and Yunho? Don't tell me they're making food when we're fighting these assholes." He scoffed, San laughing at his childishness.

"They're probably making food, yeah." Hongjoong joined with a laugh. "But let them be, Yunho has been through enough fighting this week and needs the rest." He added, San nodding at his statement.

"He's right." San smiled. "Now, shall we do something about those guys down there?" He grinned, jumping down the ship, not even shaking when he hit the ground. "Hi." He smirked, waving at the bad guys behind the barrier. "Do you want to know something?"

Jongho and Hongjoong followed after San, running to his side. San looked at Hongjoong as if he was asking him to get rid of the barrier, Hongjoong getting the signal and getting rid of the barrier immediately.

But as soon as the barrier was gone, a ray of light flew past San and the others, hitting the attackers. San widened his eyes and looked behind him, seeing Yeosang on the deck with bow. "That fucker.." San sighed, turning to Yeosang and rolling his eyes. "Did you just shoot magic arrows at us?!" He yelled, Yeosang scoffing and jumping down to join the others.

"I made your job easier, San." Yeosang clicked his tongue, an annoyed hiss escaping his lips. San wanted to yell at him because of what he did to Wooyoung, but Yeosang was still a part of his crew, and an important member as well. "Don't give me that bitchy look and appreciate my help, will you?" Yeosang chuckled coldly and took the first magic arrow out of the attackers abdomen.

"Do you even have a heart inside that cold shell of yours?" San hissed, giving Yeosang a dirty look before turning around. "And you were supposed to stay with Wooyoung, Yeosang, weren't you?" He said and left for the ship. Jongho and Hongjoong watched as San jumped back to the ship, both of them a little wary of their captain because he was obviously on a bad mood because of a certain someone.

"Good job, Yeosang." Hongjoong laughed nervously, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder, only to get it pushed away by Yeosang who gave him a disgusted look before disappearing into the nearby forest. "He's grumpier than usual." Hongjoong tilted his head in confusion

San found himself walking towards the sleeping quarters, the hallways more quiet than normally. His feet took him to the room Wooyoung was in. He opened the door, revealing the somewhat gloomy room, with Wooyoung who was laying on one of the beds and staring at the ceiling. "Wooyoung?"

Wooyoung glanced at the person who entered the room, widening his eyes as he realized it was San. He sat up, looking at into San's purple eyes before bursting into tears. San was startled by the sudden change in Wooyoung's mood, but rushed to his side without a second thought. He embraced the smaller in a warm hug, wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling him closer to his chest.

"It's going to be okay." San whispered, kissing the top op Wooyoung's head and moving his hand in circles on Wooyoung's back to calm him. "What happened, dear?" He pulled away, looking at Wooyoung's teary eyes.

Wooyoung gulped and looked down at his lap. "I'm just sad.." He said quietly, confusing San a little. "I wanted to talk with Yeosang, but he left without explaining anything... he just said that he had a reason for everything he did. But I just don't understand, San. What kind of reason would it be?" He whimpered, nuzzling against San's chest once more and taking in the calming scent.

San sighed, hugging the other tighter like his life depended on it. "I don't know, Wooyoung, I don't know." He admitted. "Yeosang has been like this for as long as I can remember. He's always been quiet around everyone and he never shows his emotions around us. It feels like he's keeping his emotions bottled up inside him... but sometimes it just feels like he doesn't have any emotions to begin with."

Wooyoung nodded against San's chest, sniffling and pulling away from the hug. "Did I do that to him?" He pursed his lips into a thin line. "Did I cause his sudden change?" He repeated, not really asking San these questions, but asking them from himself.

"No, Wooyoung. I'm sure you didn't." San wiped a tear off Wooyoung's cheek. "If he doesn't want to talk about it, then so be it. It's his choice and if he isn't ready cooperate with you then it's his problem, not yours, okay?" He wiped another tear off Wooyoung's cheek. The younger nodded, giving San a little smile.

"Thank you for this." Wooyoung sniffled, a small blush appearing on his cheeks. "For being here with me.." He corrected himself.

"You're welcome." San smiled. "You deserve to be happy, you know? No one deserves to be alone."

"I'm glad I met you then." Wooyoung giggled. "I would've died if had't met you a few days ago." He sighed, throwing himself at San and hugging him. "I'm really thankful..."

"Wooyoung." San said softly, pulling away from the hug. "Do you want to join my crew?"
