a thief

The room was cold, the air in it was humid and uncomfortable. The stone walls were hard and cold as well, impossible to break with a simple magic spell. Two cells were still in the corner with Seonghwa in one of them, laying on the blanket. Although, after Hongjoong and Jongho left the room, he had started to wake up from Hongjoong's spell.

Purple, glowing eyes examined the room he was in even though he couldn't really see that well in the dark. He sat up and took a breath before taking in everything that had happened. He had held that Yunho guy at a knife-point, threatening the crew to let him speak with San, the captain. But his plan failed as soon as Yeosang stepped in and pinned him to the wall with his strength.

Apparently Hongjoong had put a spell on him so he would pass out and wake up after some time, and now he found himself in a cell. Great. "Why are they keeping me alive?" Seonghwa whispered to himself, his eyes searching for anything he could use to his advantage. They caught the glistening key on the wall, hanging on a small nail. "Well hello there." He smirked, standing up and walking to the cell door.

The question was, why did Hongjoong leave the keys so visible to Seonghwa? Was his intention to let him go or did he just randomly hang them on the wall without thinking that Seonghwa could snatch them. "Now, how should I do this without gaining everyone's attention?" He thought out loud, grabbing the bars and leaning against them. "A wind spell, maybe?"

"I wouldn't do that if I was you."

Wooyoung and San had been waiting for an hour for Yeosang to wake up, both of them getting a little worried about him because he was taking so long to regain his consciousness. They were waiting for the smallest sign of life from Yeosang at this point. A twitch of his finger, anything.

The younger sighed and sat on the bed with San, watching his old friend sleep peacefully under the sheets. "I wonder if he's going to wake up soon." He pouted, grabbing San's arm and clinging onto him, surprising San a little bit.

The older froze under Wooyoung's touch, his heart beating a little bit faster. "I- I don't know, maybe he's going to wake up soon?" San stuttered, cursing inside his head because he was suddenly so shy. "What do you think he'll do when he wakes up?" He coughed, regaining his courage.

Wooyoung shrugged, smiling to himself. "Maybe he's going to pay Seonghwa a visit. I saw how he looked at him, like he hated him from the bottom of his heart, or like he had lost to him or something." He tried explaining. "It was weird to be honest."

San slowly nodded, sneaking an arm around Wooyoung's waist to keep him close and safe. "I sensed blood-lust, from both of them." He confessed with a sigh, gaining a little gasp from the other. "I don't know what got into them but it was weird, I gotta admit."

"Blood-lust?!" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow. "Why the hell-"

The door opened before Wooyoung could finish, the red haired man stomping his way to him and San. "Seonghwa's in the cell right now." Hongjoong interrupted, ignoring the angry look from Wooyoung. "And he woke up, considering I felt the spell wear of just now." He added.

He then proceeded to make his way to Yeosang's side, examining his sleeping figure. To be completely honest, no one expected Yeosang to pass out like that. He had always been a tough one and a mystery to everyone. They had no idea what was hidden inside of Yeosang's mind and what he was thinking. It made the crew a little worried, Hongjoong included.

"So, he's still unconscious, huh?" Hongjoong said, tilting his head as he watched Yeosang sleep. "Aren't you guys worried?" He blurted out suddenly. Wooyoung and San turned to him in confusion, which was replaced with realization. "Thought so." Hongjoong sighed.

"I am." Wooyoung said, looking down at his hand that was held by San. "I am worried." He repeated, looking at Hongjoong with a small smile, a sad one that is. "I've never seen him like this."

"Neither have I, or anyone from our crew" Hongjoong nodded. "And I guess it's because of Seonghwa."

"Why?" Wooyoung said. He didn't understand why Seonghwa's actions would affect Yeosang so deeply. Why would Yeosang get a panic attack all of a sudden because of Seonghwa? It didn't make any sense. "Why would he get a panic attack because of Seonghwa?"

"Who said it was because of Seonghwa?" a voice spoke behind them.

"Yeosang?!" Wooyoung froze, looking the other straight in the eye. "You're okay!" He sighed, almost launching himself at the blonde one before San caught him by the arm. "Right? You're okay, right?" He added, his smile fading when he saw Yeosang's emotionless expression.

San watched Wooyoung get quiet in front of him, growing a little worried of him. He stood up and walked to the younger, wrapping his arm around his waist to calm him down. "Yeosang, you don't have to explain yourself, but don't look at Wooyoung like he's murdered your whole family or something." San warned, narrowing his eyes as he warned Yeosang.

Wooyoung gasped in San's arms, turning his head to him. "Don't worry, it's fine." He reassured, taking the hand that was around his waist and intertwining their hands together. He looked at Yeosang again and gave him a little smile. "If you don't want me here right now, I can go." He sighed, releasing his hand from San's and walked to the door. "I'll be in the kitchen..." He said and left the room.

Hongjoong watched as the younger left the bedroom, followed by San who immediately rushed after him. Yeosang was still sitting on the bed and had not said a word since he woke up. "Look, I know you're upset and angry about something, but you don't need to show it like that." He said, staring at Yeosang who stared right back. "If you want to go talk to Seonghwa then go ahead, I ain't stopping you, but if you do anything else, there are going to be consequences."

Yeosang tore his gaze from Hongjoong and stood up from the bed, walking past the red head. "I don't care." He growled, taking one last glance at Hongjoong and walking out of the room.

It's true. Yeosang was really angry, but he wasn't angry at Wooyoung at all. He was angry at Seonghwa and Seonghwa only, and he didn't really even know why. All this anger started bubbling inside him after he had walked into Yunho's office and seen what he was doing there. He was angry that he had left his guard down and brought a bad guy into their ship without noticing it.

But most importantly, he was angry at himself because he had had no idea who Seonghwa was and what his motives were. The other concealed his blood-lust so well even Yeosang had no idea what he was after. It angered him. The fact that he was weak made him go crazy.

Were all those years of training nothing?

Does he have to train harder?

After he had reached the room Seonghwa was in, he took a deep breath and twisted the door knob, revealing the somewhat dark room. He was met with Seonghwa who was standing behind the bars and leaning against them, watching the key that was dangling on a nail in the wall.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you." Yeosang said ad he leaned against the cold wall. He immediately got Seonghwa's attention who released his hands from the bars as soon as he saw Yeosang by the door. "Were you planning to escape?" Yeosang raised an eyebrow, watching Seonghwa's every move from afar.

Seonghwa rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue. "As if." He scoffed. "I could escape whenever I want." He said, walking to Yeosang's side of the cell and grabbed the bars in his hands. Yeosang gave him the oh-really-now look and walked towards Seonghwa's cell.

"Why are you so sure about that?" Yeosang smirked, grabbed the bars and stared Seonghwa straight in the eye. "Why are you even here?" He narrowed his eyes and watched Seonghwa smirk in front of him.

Their faces were so close to each other, both of them not breaking the eye contact. Seonghwa's purple eyes were staring right back at Yeosang's brown ones. The atmosphere changed drastically, and Yeosang was glad no one else was there to witness it.

Seonghwa was startled how Yeosang could keep his cool and still show no emotion at all as they just stared at each other. A thousand words were exchanged but no one spoke even a single word. Both of them were examining each other's expressions, looking for some emotion behind the cold, emotionless look. But neither found anything, both were short of any emotions and both were like empty shells.

There was one question in Seonghwa's mind. Who did this to Yeosang? Who sucked all emotions from his body and left this empty shell behind? He had never seen a similar boy to himself, as broken and empty as himself and it baffled him to say the least. This boy had definitely gone through something in the past and it might be even worse than he thought.

Yeosang was the first to back off from the bars, rolling his eyes and turning his back to Seonghwa. "I see you have no interest in talking." He said, breaking the silence. Seonghwa's eyes widened a bit, this might be his key to freedom. "I'm not going to let you out if that's what you're thinking." Yeosang chuckled lowly.

Seonghwa clicked his tongue in annoyance. That sneaky bastard, of course he knew Seonghwa wanted out. "You think I'd want out now that I have the chance to get some information?" He huffed, Yeosang turning around to face him with a raised eyebrow. "Why do you think I wanted to talk with your captain, hmm?" He smirked.

Yeosang narrowed his eyes in confusion. "So you have something important to discuss with him?" He asked, gaining a small nod from the other. "Well, I don't think he's going to visit you." He blurted out, confusing Seonghwa.

"What do you mean?" Seonghwa asked in confusion.

"San's not stupid, Seonghwa." Yeosang spat. "He knows you're after something."
