Tonight

Slowly, I straightened my posture and stood straighter to meet his eyes.

"Go on. It will be fine." Sein murmured under his breath.

His voice soothed the boiling temper that had started to rise up once I saw the princes.

I released a cool breath and eased my tenses. All right, just for tonight. For a while, I will forget about the thing about my memories. About my speculations that they were hiding something from me.

"Very well, your highness. I would be honored."

Just for tonight.

The Crown Prince's eyes shone with relief. As though part of him had expected that I would blatantly refuse his offer.

He offered me a warm smile. But I couldn't return it. Instead, I dipped my chin slightly at him.

The Crown Prince led me to the center of the ballroom, the people following us with their curious yet also awed glances.
