The two angels

Eul choked out a sob, silent tears rushing down as he held Sein's motionless fingers to his cheek.

I was speechless. Death came easily as an axe swinging back and forth, taking away life as it went. Just like that, Seinfrede was gone.

Dahlia had charged toward the one who shot the arrow. With her raging cries, she was continuously beating up Sein's killer. Althea provided backup on her careless sister who wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. Dahlia had her eyes only on the archer, her fists bloodier every time she hit the enemy's mask.

Eul held Sein against his chest, whispering words the dead could no longer hear.

I looked above and saw Euph's tears glistening underneath the moonlight. She had witnessed Sein's death as well.

He died before he even got to be reunited with his friends.
