The two of them were led to a sumptuous private room who contained a single table modestly decorated giving off a relaxing and cozy vibe. The waiter helped the both of them sit by taking care of the chairs. It surprised Ron who was certainly not used to such a thing.

Once the both them were sat, the waiter went to the side to a cabinet and took out two menus that he then respectfully handed to each of them. They thanked and he bowed before leaving.

Ron opened the menu. The first thing he noticed was that nowhere was there any indications on the prices of the food. He found it quite weird but let it be. Since Jade didn't point it out, he would not. Next, he checked the different options. The names were certainly poetic but it didn't give the slightest bit of hint on what the plate would contain. Ron couldn't help but frown.

From the very start, Jade had been observing instead of checking the menu. She was a regular here due to her job and often took her clients to eat here. She didnt need to check it to know what was in it. She was that familiar with it. Instead, she was many times more interested by how Ron reacted. After all, the way he looked at the waiter when the guy helped him sit down was priceless. She wasn't disappointed this time either. He kept frowning and curiously trying to comprehend the names in the menu. It seemed like he was having a tough time. She was trying hard to suppress her laugh.

Since she would be unable to do so if this went on, she decided to help him. She asked him: "So~ What would you like to eat, Ron?"

He coughed before straightening and shyly stating: "I'm not quite sure, the names are quite peculiar"

She giggled as she didn't expect him to actually admit to it. If it had been anyone else, or at the public area, people would likely have mocked him overtly. Well, she was judging him too but she found him funnier than anything else.

She told him: "I know the menu quite well, how about I give you a suggestion?"

He beamed as if he saw a savoir nearly making her go into a fit of laughter. She suppressed it with difficulty as he nodded. She asked him, trying to stifle her laugh, if he would rather have fish or meat. He decided to go for fish.

In the end, she recommended him a plate called "Leap through the Autumn wind" which was simply a kind of fish that migrated in autumn cooked along with vegetables that grew in the same season. He agreed to it. Since he had no idea anyways, it was more than fine to go with her recommendation. In fact, it was better this way. It was quite clear to him that she was used to this place. He trusted her opinion. And he would have just picked randomly otherwise anyways.

He began to wonder when the waiter would come back when she pushed on a small bell in the middle of the table. Ron thought it was a decoration. It was not. For a few seconds later, the waiter came in with a bottle of wine.

He respectfully served them a glass before leaving the bottle on the table. He opened his wrist-com as he asked the two what they would like to eat. Jade purposely didn't say anything to see what Ron would do. She imagined a few scenarios.

In the end, Ron calmly and politely asked for the plate she recommended before asking her what she would like to have. It was relaxed and fluid, surprising her in a positive way. She decided to ask for a meat-based dish called 'Roaring through the wilderness' which was nothing more than grilled meat coupled with vegetables flavored pasta.

The waiter bowed as he left and they were once more alone in the room. She expected to have to be the one to initiate the conversation but Ron did. He asked her: "Do you come here often?"

It was a nice way to start the conversation. It was fluid and not forced. She smiled as she answered him: "Yes, I have to come from time to time due to my work?"

He took the cue and continued with his next question: "What kind of work do you do?"

She began to speak about her job which was related to business. She was in the trade of mechanical parts, like many others. She was the one in charge of buying and her company was quite a large one. Basically, she had quite the high position. Though it was only that of an employee, one could say that she had reached very close to the top of her career even though she was quite young.

Ron asked her many questions, being truly interested in what she did. It had been a long time since she felt like someone was truly curious about her work and really listened. She greatly enjoyed speaking with Ron.
