Titles, the second thing people look at when they find your book. The title can be a very powerful thing, as stated in last weeks lesson, a good title can lure in readers despite the cover. It's even happened to me once or twice.
As I said in the last chapter, I will not read a book with a real-life picture of people on it. If it's a realistic picture of people then I might give it a chance, but there's no way I'll ever read a book with a picture of a real person on it.
Yet titles, titles are a very strong thing. Your title has to fit your story perfectly if your story is about a person going on a life journey to figure out who they really are, the title shouldn't be 'Hot C.E.O. is my pet'.
I mean really, how misleading is that? This lesson can be summed up very easily, choose a title that contains mystery, makes the reader want to read your book, and actually relates to the story.
