She was the Lucky Lady

Until the end of the event, Jessica did not get anything. Not an auction item, not a chance to meet his father there. Jessica had no luck this time.

The old man beside her sighed in disappointment, "what a waste of my flight, that kid is too much." Mr. Hermawan scolding. He had traveled thousands of miles and he also got nothing.

"Grandpa, why do you insist on meeting my father? Is there anything important?" Jessica couldn't stand to see her old grandfather looking so disappointed. As much as possible he wanted to do something to make his grandfather happy.

"We have a lot to talk about," Mr. Hartanto answered his granddaughter.

"If it's about the company maybe I can help you."

"Hm, thank you, kid. But this is not something you can handle. All I need is that child," Hermawan Hartanto looked a little tense with this problem.

"Grandpa, I dare to tell you that I'm even more powerful than my father. So what's bothering you?"

Tuan Tua Hartanto refused his grandson's help. He seemed reluctant to tell Jessica what problems he wanted to discuss with his son.

This started to create suspicion in Jessica's mind, but Mr. Hartanto managed to convince his granddaughter that it was not a big problem. At the same time, Mr. William and Hans appeared.

William did not ask anything, he could know from the expression of the old man that Mr. Hantanto was unable to meet his son. "Sorry, we didn't make it today." Mr. William bowed guiltily towards his master.

"It's not your fault I didn't get to meet him, I'm lucky enough to be able to meet my granddaughter here. It's good enough for me." Mr. Hermawan tried to be proud, he could not blame anyone.

Jessica also tried to persuade her grandfather to return with her to Indonesia. However, the old man argued that he still had a lot of work to do in Singapore.

Jessica also insisted on taking her grandfather to the airport. After quite a tough conversation, Mr. Hermawan and Jessica managed to reach an agreement.

"Then I'll see you at the board of directors meeting later." Mr. Hartanto said his farewell.

"It's still a few months away. Grandpa, you will stay in Singapore for that long?" Jessica complained.

"Just count on me, one two three and then I'll come when you need me." Hermawan tried to cheer up his grandson.

Jessica laughed in response to her grandfather's teasing, "You're not a genie in a bottle. How can I call you whatever I want."

"I can do whatever I want." Mr. Hermawan sounds like his granddaughter in many ways. Ah, on the contrary, maybe this is why Jessica is so arrogant and full of confidence.

"I think I don't need to call you grandpa. I already have my genie. He will provide all the things I need, won't you?" Jessica glanced at Hans and glanced at him.

Mr. Hartanto also looked at Hans. Even though he knows that Hans is the son of the right hand that he trusts, to this day Hermawan is still not very happy with Hans who has to hang around his grandson.

The old man looked like a young man who was jealous of seeing his lover flirting with other men.

"Hans, sorry I forgot to congratulate you on your wedding plans, son. You have to bring this lucky woman to meet me. I will prepare something for you," said Mr. Hartanto.

Jessica smiled wryly, "Hans is so stingy. I'm sure even Mr. Will himself hasn't met his future son-in-law, so you expect too much of him, Grandpa."

"Thank you for your generosity. We'll see you when the opportunity comes." Hans couldn't say anything else. He wasn't sure it was a promise he could keep. After all, who knows when that opportunity will come?

Mr. Will said that he and Mr. Hartanto must immediately prepare for departure. Jessica let her grandfather go back to Singapore, while she returned home with Hans on the private jet that her grandfather had prepared for her.

The following Monday morning the sky was clear and the weather good. Hans arrived at Jessica's apartment earlier than usual and had prepared anything. They breakfast quietly as if nothing had happened last week.

That morning went smoothly, Hans was in Jessica's room about to take the signed file. When a call came into Hans's cell phone, the man answered it immediately.

Jessica could hear it too, it was from an auction site in Thailand. They confirmed that the necklace he bought yesterday had been delivered to Hans's address and he would receive it by the day after tomorrow.

Hans hung up the phone and he found Jessica had been staring at him for a while.

"Lucky lady," Jessica said softly but Hans could still hear her.

"Nobody knows what she looks like but that woman managed to get love from your father and even attention from my grandfather. When will you bring her to me?" on various occasions Jessica could not hold her mouth from speaking.

Again Hans was mugged at such a request. "Speaking of luck, I don't think he's that lucky." Hans didn't know how else to evade it.

He didn't want to talk about his future wife to anyone. Marriage is something else and it is not yet time to talk about women.

This time Hans became the lucky man because a knock on the door held Jessica's mouth to poke him with other questions.

The door opened and the HR Chief came in with several files in his hand. Immediately Hans knew the man's intention was facing Jessica's room.

Hans glanced at Jessica and saw that the woman did not mind being there.

So Hans stayed in Jessica's room while the head of HR gave his report on the selection for the new president director's secretary.
