Alcohol

Neptunus and Nuansa finally arrive at Emma's house late because the streets are congested. Emma's large front yard is filled with cars and big motorcycles. Neptunus and Nuansa then got out of Neptunus' car.

"It's cloudy," said Nuansa while looking up at the sky.

"Even though it's night now, but you know it's cloudy?" said Neptunus.

"Of course, the moon and stars are not visible."

"Hmm, is that so?"

"By the way, is it okay if we just go in? I mean, there's no security here."

"Don't you see? This house is in a large residential complex, the security is at the entrance there."

"So this house doesn't need security anymore?"

"Why do you look so worried?"

"We just entered arbitrarily, like visiting ethics doesn't exist."

"Hey, we're being invited to a party, not visiting."

"But it's the same, right?"

"Come on, you take it easy, everyone who comes here right now doesn't say 'excuse me' before entering, who should you ask permission from, anyway? All people are in this house, the distance between every house and another one is hundreds of meters."

"Hmm, alright. But I'm still confused, what should I do to you in front of them?"

"Just take it easy, don't make fun of me, act like you are the most relaxed person in the world because you feel normal after getting the heart of a guy who is wanted by many girls."

"Ok, that's easy enough even if it sounds difficult."

"You also have to be calm, your nature is calm."

"Hey, I don't wanna pretend."

"Ah, it's up to you, but for me, in front of them, you have to do what I said."

"Ok, you take it easy."

"Good," said Neptunus, inviting Nuansa to join hands.

"Can we go in now?" said Nuansa, who did not understand the code from Neptunus.

'It's always like this. Why doesn't she understand the way romantic couple walk?' thought Neptunus.

Neptunus was about to answer Nuansa, but suddenly EDM music is playing very loudly, a sign that the party had started.

"The party has started, let's go in!" said Neptunus.

"HUH?!" shouted Nuansa, the music is so loud she couldn't hear Neptunus' words.

"LET'S GO IN!" Neptunus repeated his words.

"OK. WHY IS THE MUSIC SO LOUD?! DOES THIS NOT DISTURB THE COMFORT OF THE OTHER RESIDENTS IN THIS RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX?!"

"HUH?!"

"WHY IS THE MUSIC SO LOUD?! DOES THIS NOT DISTURB THE COMFORT OF THE OTHER RESIDENTS IN THIS RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX?!"

"HUH?! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

"HUH?!"

"WHAT?!"

"HUH?!"

"HUH?!"

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!"

The music is getting louder.

"WHAT?!"

Both of them are finally decided to cover their ears because the music is too loud. A few seconds later the music started at the normal volume, Neptunus and Nuansa released their hands from each other's ears.

"Fuh. What did the hell happen? Why the music was so loud?" said Nuansa.

"Maybe there's an error in the volume," said Neptunus.

"Hm, maybe, considering that was very loud."

"Alright, let's go in." Doesn't want to feel annoyed again because of Nuansa's insensitivity, Neptunus finally grabbed the girl's hand and held her hand, making both sides of her cheeks flush red as she held Neptunus' muscular hand.

Neptunus suddenly felt shy for reasons that are not clear. The two of them walked slowly towards the door, looking away from each other.

"Woah, you can walk right away in high heels?" asked Neptunus, breaking the 'ice' between himself and Nuansa after the two of them suddenly became shy.

"Oh, I also just realized it now," said Nuansa who somehow became stiff. The girl suddenly stopped and sniffed indistinctly.

"Wait, what smell is this?" asked Nuansa.

Neptunus then sniffed too to answer Nuansa.

"It the smells of alcohol," replied Neptunus.

"Alcohol?"

"Yes."

"Why is there alcohol here? And it seems like a lot, it may be being spilled because it smells is so strong."

"No, they're partying inside."

"What?"

"Yes, why?"

"You said we were going to a birthday party, right?"

"Yes, of course."

"Then why do we go to a club like this?"

"I don't get it, it's a birthday party, not a club."

"But isn't that a birthday party supposed to have candles, cake cutting, singing and lots of balloons? I mean, I thought that Emma hired a DJ to make 'Happy Birthday' music, but after I smelled this alcohol, I just realized that the house isn't in the mood for a birthday party. Why isn't the music playing 'Happy Birthday'? Where's the ribbon and balloon decorations?"

"How old do you think Emma is? Three? Two?"

"Huh?"

"This is a birthday party for adults, everyone who attended is also over 18 years old. You won't find balloons and ribbons at a birthday party like this, cakes and candles are still there, but there is still a huge difference between a birthday party for children and adults."

"But, I didn't know that adult birthday parties are like this."

Neptunus then just rolled his eyes. He then wanted to return to continue his steps, but Nuansa didn't want to move.

"Why?" asked Neptunus.

"I'll just stay here," said Nuansa.

"Hey, there won't be anything bad inside, there's only adult life. You're twenty-one, right? It's okay for you to join."

"It's not a good lifestyle, and why is a birthday party mixed up with club vibe? I don't want to get contaminated, you just go in alone without me." Nuansa then released Neptunus' hand.

"I paid you, Nuansa, and one of the reasons is you should be my partner at a party, you can't be like this!" said Neptunus.

"Just cut my wage by ninety percent, as long as you don't ask me to in."

"No way! I also have to introduce you to my friends. I hired you also because they terrorized me with the question 'where's your new girlfriend?'!"

"No, no."

"I don't want to be angry now, Nuansa. So follow me, I paid you," said Neptunus as he took Nuansa's hand.

"I said no! Once no, forever no!" Nuansa brushed off Neptunus' hand.

"I'm an adult and I can tell what's the right things and the what's wrong things! It's because I'm an adult that I don't want to join in with negativity like this!" continued Nuansa.

"Why don't you understand?!"

"I do understand! This is wrong, Neptunus! You shouldn't follow something like this just because it's a trend!"

"I'm not following this just because it's a trend or something like that! And there's nothing wrong here, you're the one!"

"Then just go in, our lifestyle is different, it seems we can't be the same," said Nuansa.

"Grrrh! Alright! And remember, I'll cut your wage ninety percent for today according to what you said earlier!"

"Ok."

Neptunus then went in and left Nuansa alone among the many vehicles parked in the front yard of the house.
